I was expecting a collection mail frm TLS since 2nd October I got a successful visa application mail,
I jst received another successful visa application mail again jst dis afternoon...


"Your application for a UK visa (vignette) has been successful. This letter is not a permission to travel to the UK.Before you can travel to the UK, you will need to collect your visa. Please do not attempt to travel to the UK until you have collected your visa.We will contact you when your visa is ready to collect from the visa application centre where you submitted your application.Please do not visit the visa application centre until you are contacted.This letter explains that when you arrive in the UK you will have permission to be in the UK (known as Leave to Enter) as STUDENT DEP PARTNER from 22 Jun 2022 to 31 May 2023.What this means for youWhen you collect your passport/travel document it will contain a visa, which you will use to travel to the UK. The visa is valid for 90 days and you should travel before the visa expiry date.

I sent a mail and I also got a respond but Sheffield but it’s been close to a month now they made a decision.

I am in this shoe oo..I have been refused since five weeks ago..yet, haven't gotten my passport.. A lot of damage have been caused because of this as I lost 2 travel scholarship slot already.

I have done everything possible, visited BDHC and TLS (V.I) twice and even escalated twice.

UKVI has really frustrated me and dealt with me..
I loose my mental health on a daily because of this...The damage is just too much...I don't know what to do anymore.

I need help




A decision was made on my application a week after by biometrics (27th of October) but a wrong entry date was written, instead of 16/12/2022, 16/12/2012 was written. I noticed it and I was told to leave my passport that it will be rectified.

Few days later, I got another decision from UKVI, this time, the letter also had the correct date. 8th of November

It’s been close to 2 weeks but my passport hasn’t been returned to my tls for collection.

I went there on Monday, and they said it’s not ready.

Please what can I do?

Two days after, I got a mail from UKVI with the the letter your vignette has been successful with the correct dates.

Normally I should get the deliver mail and collection mail 2 days after, it’s been more than a week and nothing from the TLS, I even went there today and they said it’s not ready.

As anyone experienced an error and how was it rectified?

Or what should I do?

I'm like you using Flutterwave as your payment collector. All payments to you goes to Flutterwave but there will be a unique ID (reference number) to identify it's for you which Flutterwave then remits the funds to you after agreed settlement period while setting up account with them.

You mean abandon your studies halfway and leave to the USA.

Withdrawing from your studies is your decision but bear in mind, it's on your records and becomes interesting when you need to visit the UK.

I need a bit of clarification on something.

Isn't possible for one to migrate from UK to the USA. I applied to schools in both countries and I have gotten admission to 2 schools in the UK, while I have done an interview with the US school, I'm just awaiting my letter.
However, I don't want to neglect both and do both simultaneously cos I have been rejected the USA visa so I don't want another disappointment.

My question is, if the US visa works, can I leave the UK and resume somewhere around January in the US?

Guys, I wang to apply for the surge date after denial but I want to fill another ds160. Can I apply with the old ds160 pending when I fill a new one, because I want to honestly take my time to fill it?

You can refill the ds160 form, anything 72hrs to your interview don't touch the form.

Good morning house,

I have an issue, while filling my ds160, the area where I was asked which entity will be paying for your trip, I chose myself because honestly I will be the one paying for those minor things while my mum will be paying for the major ones.
I just heard that that part refers to who will be in charge of the funding and since a major money is in my mum’s account, I should have chosen her.

I have submitted this ds160 and even booked a date for my interview. Is there a way I can submit a new ds160 and choose my mum as the person paying for my trip?

Good evening, I’m finding it difficult filling the ds-160 form. It keeps logging me out after generating the application Id. Once I click retrieve application , it asks for surname and year of birth and I haven’t imputed that cos I haven’t gotten to that section. If I go ahead to input the surname, it will say information doesn’t match. I don’t know what else to do. Kindly help

I have a little problem and I've spent days reading the previous thread but nothing close.
Here is my problem

So, a bank has decided to loan us the money so my i20 would be sent, but we have two options.

They insist on opening a new account which we have,but if we take the account to the embassy, it will be less than 2 months and I heard 6 months statement is needed

Also, mum has a current account with the said however, she hasn't used it in a year and hence statements for the last 6 months might not be weighty enough if we decide to put the money in the account.

We have two options now,
Use the new account, get the statement for it and generate a reference letter directed to the embassy with the old(current) account.
My argument here would be that this new account was opened and funded solely for this purpose( travel)

Or,
Use the old account that we haven't really used in a year and still get a reference for it from the bank.

We can only use accounts an account from that particular bank.
Now what do you all advice and do I have a case?
