Finstar:You have spoken well, but I'm only expressing my opinion concerning this as others have expressed as well. |
Gerrard59:Dude I'm not comparing if you wrote an epistle or if I didn't, I only asked you to quit writing your epistle to defend what you know nothing about, using capitalism gimmicks and all to buttress your point, and yes I wrote an epistle to put you in your place! The best of the best bragging and all to justify enslavement doesn't correlate. Mind you, Nairaland is not just a job vacancy posting website, its a forum for discussions, so its not only applicants who have a right to talk about a vacancy, as long as you post content here, its open for discussion, so in case you misplaced your objectivity in accepting opinions of others, go and retrieve it and use it! |
Gerrard59:Look here, quit your epistle and fictitious explanations, you cannot claim to be best and be overly malnourished in regards staff welfare, the best companies in the world pay good or above average because they make good money, and they make money because customers know they are best and hence patronize them accordingly, the firm you are praise-singing for, what's their excuse? Not having much customer base eh? And they are the best? And quit the capitalist gibberish you are saying to justify crap, so you think the word "capitalism" is not known to other good paying or averagely paying firms that are the best in their fields? No one who is competent in doing all these duties would take 15k a month while working full time in Lagos. I expect Jarus as always come here to talk about how the position opens the candidate to how to get other high paying jobs and what not, are you employing someone to handle your administrative tasks or someone you are tutoring on getting better jobs? Well, I'm not surprised, all you get from Nigerian one man firms like this is just plenty big talk and bragging, enslavement of staff and focus only on their personal financial gains, its so funny you are talking about capitalism, I laugh! Even the Americans that are the kings of capitalism would laugh at what you are justifying and defending. |
Gerrard59:Mr praise singer or should I say ass*licker, the best of the best don't pay peanuts, the best in every field pay high or at worst fairly above average, if 15k for working almost 6 days a week and living in Lagos is good pay to you then return to the gas chamber and detention camps in Germany you seem to be coming from. |
Gerrard59:Did you read this part? ![]() "LOCATION: The Administrative Assistant works from our office at Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos." |
Jarus you don't wanna change, 15k in Lagos when the person would spend almost the whole week working for you, no wonder you are always advertising the same vacancy always. I commend you for always being blunt about the pay though, its better you always state it so people don't get deceived by a façade thinking they would be paid 150k at least coming from how you brag about having the 'best and respected' career coaching firm and all. |
nomabeeee:Please what work location did you pick? The same PH? |
Blaeizyt:Don't mind all those people who reason like kids here, they think competent companies would be recruiting using phone numbers, as if its phone numbers that determines the competence of an employee. If the offer for the JAIZ bank is for a confirmed staff role then go for it, and try to reschedule the Glo test if its possible, but if the bank role is for a contract position then maybe you can go for this Glo, this Glo role pays around 85k so compare it with the bank offer. |
manneger2:"They are using it to screen people out" ... Your better don't say things you are not sure about, why are you guys this panicky over everything? I know a girl in Lagos who got an invite with MTN line, and other test locations have not even been invited for test yet so why start shivering over nothing? Isn't it better to wait for all test locations to be invited for test before making hasty generalisations? ![]() |
Funny set of people here, attaching not getting test invitations to not using Glo phone number, when someone already has said here how he didn't use a Glo number and yet got an invite, someone I contacted also got her invite for Lagos, and her phone numbers on her CV are both MTN. Of course if you are competent enough from your CV and you have MTN and Glo phone numbers on your CV, you expect Glo to send the invite to your MTN? Of course its normal they pick their network number to send the message. So what's the issue about that? Also, I know other location invites would roll out in the coming days and weeks, so chill guys. For now I think its just Lagos, Abuja and Enugu they are handling. For those of you believing its a "use a Glo line and get an invite" thing you guys can continue daydreaming. |
This vacancy has expired already according to the information about it, it was suppose to last for 7 days and the vacancy was dropped last week sunday. |
Tellemall:Look here you silly slowcoach, I know the goal of your parochial mindset with your back and forth bickering was just to blabber and brag, oh you have been outside Nigeria right? Is that a world record or something? Or a big achievement in your family? I would remind you again, no one gives a freaking hoot about where you are from or been. I know your brain is definitely on life support but I would like to remind you again that the basics of me replying a demented waste of human flesh like you was to see you give points to back up your claim that Africa is not backwards in terms of development as compared to other continents. |
Tellemall:Are you slow to comprehend simple English to this point? ![]() Who made an issue about where the f*ck you claim to come from? Like seriously? Maybe you just wanna be given an audience to blabber about where you are from, no one gives a freaking hoot about that!!! I made a claim stating how Africa puts so much importance on religion and yet Africa is very backwards in terms of development, you ignorantly twittered about how Africa is not backwards, so if you can't state categorically how Africa is not backwards as compared to other continents please shut up and get off my mentions! |
Tellemall:Look here, point out in what way is Africa not backward as compared to other continents in terms of development or shut up already! While you are it, you can be getting overly engrossed about religion while other countries and continents are progressing at the speed of light with development. And mind you, no one gives a freaking damn who you are or from which country you are from, keep that information to yourself and for your employer. |
streamsofjoy:Babe why do you love to generalise and use words with exaggeration? Note, I never attacked any pastor, let along "ALL" pastors as you stated, I only said it shouldn't be a taboo for pastors' actions or deeds to be scrutinized or looked into, pastors are human beings and not gods, and I gave the account of the Bible where it is said that in the last days, there would a lot of false prophets. |
streamsofjoy:Madam I will quote my message again for clarity sake. prettyboy5:From my last statement how does saying "a lot" equate to "all" according to you? I would have said Nairaland needs to check the amount of little kids who comment here but even a 7 year old doesn't lack such basic English comprehension ability which you just displayed to be lacking. |
Tellemall:Look here, Africa is indeed a backward continent and this country alike swimming in backwardness, I'm not thinking it, but that's the undiluted truth! The only thing that folks are good for here is being so overly engrossed about anything that has to do with religion, we are the most religious yet the most corrupt, how funny! And in terms of development, we are as backward as Michael Jackson doing a moon walk, what has your country contributed in percentage to developmental progress of the world apart from carrying religion and tribe on their heads? ![]() |
How funny! This is the type of mentality which makes Africans so backwards as compared to others. So a pastor(a human being) can not be talked about or his actions scrutinized right, because he is a god or what? And the same Bible talked how in the last days there would be a lot of false prophets. |
Iamchicchup:Sorry I had to quote your last post here on Nairaland to get your attention. You sent me a DM and I replied to it via the email notification but haven't gotten a reply from you. I'm just anxious to know why you contacted me, make you no come be my destiny helper way I dey play with ![]() |

onlyme07:No competent HR would recruit based on phone numbers because of some loyalty nonsense, the example you are giving about Coca cola freezer and Pepsi product has nothing to do with recruitment, recruitment is about COMPETENCE of the candidates and not loyalty, competence gets the job done and not loyalty, this is a recruitment and not a customer loyalty appreciation program. With your logic banks would only be picking candidates who have their bank accounts for final selection then. In saner countries, job seekers sue and win companies for screening them out because of gender and here in Nigeria someone is justifying the crude perception of screening out of candidates for a flimsy point as phone numbers. Go and read more about HR please. In your mind you feel because you used a Glo number on your CV you are better placed, I laugh at your crude way of reasoning. |
onlyme07:Your thinking is funny, so a company would recruit based on phone numbers because its phone numbers that determine if someone is competent for a job or not right? Criteria to shortlist based on phone numbers? Holy lord, graduates in this country are so "intelligent" I must say. |
I guess the photo below does justice to those who were claiming if you didn't see your name on their pre-selection link on their website but got a message its not authentic, see Npower's reply on Facebook concerning that. Also, it seems Npower has taken out the pre-selection checking link from their website.
|
Fingerprinter:You are getting serious over nothing, I think your life is so complicated you are so sad with yourself. The person you are attacking was only being funny about the God of Abraham part. And yes, he has a right to be happy about a 30K job, when was the last time you gave someone 30K please? They are people rocking 10K jobs and they are surviving. God blesses grateful people like him who appreciate the 30K as they grow higher to better jobs, not ungrateful boastful broke-ass noisemakers like yourself! |
olumaxi:On behalf of all of us that have received congratulatory text messages, we rebuke that in the mighty name of Jesus! No one is telling us it was a mistake. |
feelgoods:The same website that first of all displayed names of successful candidates and then removed it. I don't trust their website and glitches. Don't mind me, I'm speaking towards what is favouring me at the moment. ![]() |
This is strange and funny, those who saw on the website they were selected haven't gotten any congratulatory text messages, and those who got congratulatory text messages didn't get the green light from online selection check. npowerng please come and clarify issues here, but I choose to believe the text message is more authentic ![]() |
sweetkevisco:Same here, I checked on the website but saw I was not selected, then I got the congratulatory text message. I think this text message is more authentic. |
Tiobi84:Congrats, which category please? I applied for N-teach |
UPDATE: It looks like Npower has taken out the pre-selection checking link on their website, implying only those who got messages are in for the next process, I'm making intelligent deductions here though. Or maybe it could be that both those who saw their names on the website and those who got messages are in for the next process. And Npower confirmed on Facebook that if you did not see your name on the website when the pre-selection checking link was up but still got a congratulatory text message then you have indeed being successful for the next stage. See attached photo.

Hello guys, I just got this message from Npower, anyone with me? Please share. cc: Mynd44 davide470 lalasticlala

dingbang:pls i'm not jobless at the moment and that's why I need to know, I just need to know if it's a sit at the bank position where customers are directed to you for enquiries or one that you are given targets to go find customers yourself whom should download the banks app |
