hello dingbang, I see you are a digital geek for first Bank, pls I need some info from you, I'm in the application process of a digital geek job and I want to know more about it, is it a sit in the office job like customer care where customer's in the bank are directed to you to help them with digital products of the bank or you are with the duty of going out to source for customers yourself to download the banks app? and pls what are the targets as well, thank you in advance

I told you last week that you are very wrong on this your post and I promised to refer to your post again to prove you wrong soonest, success messages for documentation started coming out yesterday and according to you nothing would happen until AC was conducted, and your claim of taking up to another year for training school is also playing out as very wrong, oga this your reliable source na wa o If you guys don't know stuff don't say anything please, at least the other information guy- cloud9usher firstly said documentation would be in late august and later said it would be september and his information is almost accurate and not like you that came and gave us a very fake timeframe. I think this boils down to internal issues, and also as Cloud9usher told us back then about service executives being drafted into the recruitment I'm sure the delays would have to do with issues bothering around conversion of contract staff to full staff under this recruitment year, and then the management bureaucracy that comes with issues and other related matters would be responsible for all this

I can agree that FBN might be having some issues or something but the funds not approved part I will not agree. The AC that's being done for FBN by HCP is a contract, before such contract is agreed by both parties, FBN must have stated the number of applicants that would need to conduct AC and then the fees for the contract agreed upon and paid, from what you are saying are you telling me FBN was paying HCP weekly or something for the conducted AC so far that FBN would need funds for approval again to complete the yet to be concluded AC? Noooo! That AC contract was signed and paid for already, the issue concerning the delays is something else and funds approval has nothing about it.

And I bet you that training school might or will NOT take up to another year as you claimed, I would refer to this post in the future to remind you.

At the words in bold; very correct! It happened in the previous recruitment, some people were invited to training school a year after the first and second batches were invited .

My source told me that of course this years GTP would have slots in training school coming in batches, so if you have not done your AC yet, be ready to wait more, that's the bitter truth you have to swallow.

I think FBN usually doesn't like inviting all qualified candidates at once to training school because of the fact that they want to have time to replace trainees who would fail along the way with those on the waiting list, that way it would be a continuous process of trainees passing through the training school till they get the number they need for that year's GTP recruitment.

To all training school hopefuls like myself, yes FBN training school is like a dream luxury of a place to be and all but a lot of hard work is ahead, we would be writing over 30 courses and pass mark is 70% for each!

From all I'm hearing, it means if you have not yet conducted AC then you are on a long thing o, the waiting will be long o, chaaii! FBN na wa! If you have not yet conducted AC I think its right to say you can get something doing to take your mind off FBN for a while.

From what I was told, the zoning refers to the geopolitical zone you come from(i.e your state of origin) and not exactly where you are resident.

This zoning thing got me thinking too back then, because i also saw all that sw,se,ss,ne,nw,nc different geo zones fixed on each name on our attendance resister during the assessment

I have followed all comments but none of them have an in depth explanation of the case study. Can anybody that has written the test pls shed some light on the case study and the Power Point Presentation content. I have been reading business case studies and will need to know if I am on track. I think it's one of the most important stages.

Bros you think they are not doing that on purpose? Hahahahha, they would rarely give you in depth explanation, no be the same Nigerians way we know? I expect someone to come here and start scolding you that can't you think for yourself and that why do you want in depth explanation and much more. Na Nigeria be this, forget all this courtesy people are acting here, in their minds they want to get the job over you so you would be on a very long thing waiting for in depth explanation, we are generally selfish and its not a hidden thing, forget those that would come with excuses to make it sound like you are the wrong one here, all you would get is scolding that you want to be spoon fed.

To all those surprised with the little arguments concerning salaries and all, you guys must be joking, you think when you have the very best minds and intelligent brains in the country all scheduled for assessment you would not see arguments coming up? Do you know how many people applied for FBN GTP 2016 and how many wrote the tests all over Nigeria? Presently we that have been invited for AC are not more than 300 so i hail all the intelligent minds around on the thread, never forget you guys are some of the best brains out there, AC then would look to get the best out of the best.

But i support those who argued that knowing exact salary range is necessary, its a right that we job seekers deserve to know, anyone arguing against that fact is definitely still in the stone ages and needs to wake up. When i hear people say some people are not comfortable mentioning salaries i just cringe, like seriously this is an online forum so if you give people an exact range of it would your salary reduce? Nigerians need to grow up from this olden days way of thinking.

Mind you that at the assessment centre, team spirit and ability to give others a listening ear would be tested, and you display high level of rudeness and unprofessional conduct, change from that bro.
