GenBuhari: The man was seen acting like a idiot on camera asking US Ambassador for his country's assistance with development of the solid minerals sector.
In fact it was pathetic and cringe worthy to watch.
US ambassador said he would be looking at having Nigeria scanned to find out which minerals we have for starters.
This idiot is like a goat inviting a lion to his goat shed. That is #Change! |

sol2galay: I don't think Yoruba,hausa/fulani hate us as much as Ijaw people, thats why GEJ duped us by promises of second niger bridge from when he was acting president just to garner our vote. to tell u the truth u hardly believe, the Yoruba,hausa/fulani u think are ur problem can easily vote for an igboman in an election to compare an ijaw man who will rather evoke the spirit of Idi Amin of Uganda to rule them instead of an igboman. Talk of Second Niger Bridge didn't start with Jonathan and will not end with Buhari. I dont care about Ijaw votes. Their population cannot win you a Presidential election. Minority votes hardly count so I don't worry about them. I worry about those who openly shown their hatred for anything Igbo. I will say it again, the Igbo man can NEVER be president in Nigeria unless by divine intervention. Those whose votes make the difference don't want it and will NEVER allow it. Jonathan was frustrated in office and eventually pushed out of office. Do you know why? Because he was perceived to be an Igbo man. |

meezynetwork: Nobody is doubting that Nigeria is not on a faulty foundation but then, this was not the foundation the British bequeath on us. We were the ones that dismantled that foundation by the 1st coup that destroyed regionalism/federalism and resource control. It's still going to be we that will correct and build the best foundation through good leadership. From your write up, you have not proffer a solution or are you saying things will keep getting bad till we do what? Maybe you can proffer a solution. You need to read and comprehend... I said the only solution and way forward is for us to come to the roundtable and GENUINELY discuss our corporate existence. Anything aside from that will amount to running round in circles. Nothing gets done and Nigeria never gets better and never will. The truth of the matter remains that your northern masters that you serve and worship do not want a change in the status quo. You can choose to accept this as a fact, you can also continue living in delusion and hoping against hope. Nigeria would rather go up in flames than the status quo to be renegotiated. The Northern Oligarchy and Hegemony would have none of that. Bottomline: It is a journey in futility to continue hoping for a better Nigeria. It will never happen. Nigeria as it is now, is living on borrowed time. Nigeria cannot tarry beyond the end of crude oil. |

meezynetwork: You should judge Buhari after his 1st tenure. Don't always rush to conclude. That's our problem. We just concluded then that Jonathan will win and what happened? Am not that so much of Buhari advocate or staunch supporter but Buhari is better than Jonathan. That's my point. We have tried Jonathan and have seen no good in him. We are trying Buhari now and keeping our fingers crossed. I don't want to engage you in any back and forth argument. Buhari is of no good and can never be better than Jonathan. The truth you might not want to accept is that Nigeria will continue on the downward slide. It's not about the leadership, it's about the structure of the country. It is a foundational problem. The country is standing on a faulty foundation. We can continue living in denial and chasing shadows. Things will always get worse from one administration to the next. That's the reality and the truth. You can continue arguing back and forth. It doesn't change anything. By 2019, we'll still be complaining about the same things we complained about in 1999. From bad roads to electricity, collapse of infrastructure.... Nothing will ever change. The Nigerian system is designed to fail. Until we go back to the round table and genuinely discuss the way forward for our corporate existence. Till then, people will continue to agitate for Biafra, resource control... Some will still be shouting about regionalism and some others true federalism. |

I would have supported biafra if we were not sectional about it and we were not only bringing it up whenever the political atmosphere does not Favour our political criminals. I pity our gullible youths believing in biafra cos biafra can never be actualised. It will only bring death to them. From all indications, what single thing is your Buhari going to do in Igboland? Nothing! Continue in your delusion. We voted for Jonathan and we have no regrets. My only regret is that Jonathan allowed Buhari and his forces of evil to outmuscle him in the elections. |

He went on to tell these people that those that claim Nigeria is a poor country are wrong because Nigeria has a lot of private jets, that Kenyans were astonished at the number of private jets Nigerians brought to a function going on there. That there's some amount of money you give a Nigerian and he'll reject but that if you take it to other countries they'll accept. The youth in this stadium didn't stone him, they didn't boo him, these guys clapped. obailala: And yeah, regarding what you think of me, if your idea of being Igbo means supporting some sort of foolishness being exhibited by some misguided folks, or if your idea of being Igbo means coming online to exhibit unnecessary tribal supremacy which always lead to tribal fights, or if your idea of being a proper Igbo person means foolishly joining in throwing tribal slurs, then you are definitely on your own; I would advise you to shove your stinking opinion (about me) up your a*s?... No one asked for it.
I take sides with common sense, not any tribe. It may probably take a person like you a whole century of continuous tutoring to understand that not everybody in this world is petty enough to swim in the sewage of tribalism. Nobody has asked you to join in throwing 'tribal slurs' around(whatever that means). The question is why haven't you ever seen anything good in Igbo people? Why have you at ALL times joined forces with demented and desperate folks from the Southwest to cast aspersions and denigrate the Igbo nation? I have observed your comments and attitude on this forum for a long time and find them quite disgusting. Something unbecoming of a true born son of the soil. In your brazen show of stvpidity and crass ignorance, you're so quick to label anybody who doesn't share your misguided opinions as an 'IPOB Tout'. I'll say it again, only a very foolish man will join forces with unfriendly neighbours and strangers and throw stones into his father's compound. You will not understand the import of that statement because you are what you are. We've seen people like you before on this forum. Some of them are wiser now. |

obailala: Can you kindly shut up and use your brain for once!
I wasn't talking politics, I wasnt talking tribe. That your brain is skewed to see everything anyone says as a tribal matter is not in any way my fault or business. That you hold a silly prejudice against me is not a reason why you should wake up one morning and start vomitting your inaginations and ascribing them to me.
What kind of early morning foolishness is this?... Can you kindly tell me how I threw stones at my fathers compound?... That I said Igbos travel because they are traders, how did your brain interpret that to mean an insult to Igbos?... What is even wrong with the heads of these Ipob sect people?... or is it my mockery of ipob sect that you interpret as antagonism to igbo cause?... How dare you equate IPOB sadists and misguided miscreants with the Igbo cause?... are you okay?
Kindly point out to me where I said the traders should buy shops at 3million?... are you BLIND or cant you read?.... You are the one who needs to check himself and I suggest you start from the head and then move down to your eyes. You need urgent help. You're the mor0n that needs urgent help. The OP says Igbos should divest back to Igboland because of the unrelentless attacks on their businesses by these agents of hate. You arrive from nowhere with your 'economic reasons' on why it is suicidal and anti-business for them to do such. Why? Because of your unrestrained urge to remain 'politically correct' at all times. We're talking reality here and you're talking nonsense. Like I said earlier, only a very foolish man will join forces with strangers to throw stones into his father's compound. I have never seen you for once say anything positive about the Igbo nation on this forum.... And that is public knowledge! Why have you always taken sides with the adversaries? Even when it's not political, you're always seen perching on the negative side of the divide. Something must be wrong with you my friend and I will not fail to point it out to you. obailala: I am not the owner of the shops, I am not from Lagos state and I did not give any recommendations on what the affected traders should do. I was only explaining the simple economic reasons which push traders to travel away from their homelands to far away lands.
Anyway, I wasnt expecting someone who belongs to the ipob sect to comprehend my explanations, no matter how elementary it is. Those 'simple economic reasons' are what I'm trying to point out to you. How do you expect someone to pull out a whopping N3m from his business and expect the same business not to suffer? You claim to know business and I'm sure you've not sold even a satchet of Milo in your life. You need to stop trying to be 'politically correct' all your life. It's a sign of inferiority complex and insecurity. You claim to be an Igbo man but 100% of the time, you've exhibited nothing but hate and antagonism towards the Igbo cause. What manner of a man joins forces with strangers to throw stones into his father's compound? My friend that is taboo in Igboland. You need to recheck yourself. Something is wrong somewhere (if you're truly an Igbo man). I doubt that anyways. Peace be unto you. |

obailala: IPOB zombie spotted.
Now to the issue at hand, the reason why traders spread their tentacles by travelling far and wide is because they are in search of a market for their wares. If the Igbo traders have their customers in the east, I can assure you no one would bother stepping to a land up to 30mins away from his/her homeland. Igbos are businessmen by nature and as long as that remains the case, travelling and living in foreign lands cannot be avoided. You probably know nothing about business that's why you think it would be economically feasible for all Igbo traders to teturn home. So they should go and buy over-priced shops to massage Ur stvpid ego? As the business man you think you are, how do you think they will balance the books after buying your APC over-priced shops? How long will it take an average trader to do that? Where will they even raise the capital from? |
