Talk of Second Niger Bridge didn't start with Jonathan and will not end with Buhari. I dont care about Ijaw votes. Their population cannot win you a Presidential election. Minority votes hardly count so I don't worry about them. I worry about those who openly shown their hatred for anything Igbo. I will say it again, the Igbo man can NEVER be president in Nigeria unless by divine intervention. Those whose votes make the difference don't want it and will NEVER allow it.

Jonathan was frustrated in office and eventually pushed out of office. Do you know why? Because he was perceived to be an Igbo man.

Nobody is doubting that Nigeria is not on a faulty foundation but then, this was not the foundation the British bequeath on us. We were the ones that dismantled that foundation by the 1st coup that destroyed regionalism/federalism and resource control. The truth of the matter remains that your northern masters that you serve and worship do not want a change in the status quo. You can choose to accept this as a fact, you can also continue living in delusion and hoping against hope. Nigeria would rather go up in flames than the status quo to be renegotiated. The Northern Oligarchy and Hegemony would have none of that.

Bottomline: It is a journey in futility to continue hoping for a better Nigeria. It will never happen. Nigeria as it is now, is living on borrowed time. Nigeria cannot tarry beyond the end of crude oil.

You should judge Buhari after his 1st tenure. Don't always rush to conclude. That's our problem. We just concluded then that Jonathan will win and what happened? Am not that so much of Buhari advocate or staunch supporter but Buhari is better than Jonathan. That's my point. We have tried Jonathan and have seen no good in him. We are trying Buhari now and keeping our fingers crossed.

I don't want to engage you in any back and forth argument. Buhari is of no good and can never be better than Jonathan. The truth you might not want to accept is that Nigeria will continue on the downward slide. It's not about the leadership, it's about the structure of the country. It is a foundational problem. The country is standing on a faulty foundation. We can continue living in denial and chasing shadows. Things will always get worse from one administration to the next. That's the reality and the truth.

You can continue arguing back and forth. It doesn't change anything. By 2019, we'll still be complaining about the same things we complained about in 1999. From bad roads to electricity, collapse of infrastructure.... Nothing will ever change. The Nigerian system is designed to fail. Until we go back to the round table and genuinely discuss the way forward for our corporate existence. Till then, people will continue to agitate for Biafra, resource control... Some will still be shouting about regionalism and some others true federalism.

Till date it still amuse me how majority of we Igbos were deceived. I still remember warning my colleagues then that Buhari will win that election and then Igbos will lose. All they were shouting was power of incumbency. For the 5yrs of Jonathan regime, can someone show me what tangible thing he did for the Igbos apart from the appointments of igbo criminals called politicians. I would have supported biafra if we were not sectional about it and we were not only bringing it up whenever the political atmosphere does not Favour our political criminals. I pity our gullible youths believing in biafra cos biafra can never be actualised. It will only bring death to them.

The ressurection and escalation of the Biafran agitation is a direct consequence of the 2015 election result. Forget the fact that NK and ipob existed before 2015, the agitations before 2015 was ignificant and unworthy of attention. A lot of people were simply just angry that their beloved GEJ was unseated by an Hausa-Fulani Buhari, that was the match which ignited the renewed agitations in 2015. The unfortunate statement of 5% and the lopsided appointments were just 'extra' fuels which are used as an excuse/justification to sustain the agitation. It is not up to you to agree with this or not, it is a fact!

The issue of blackmailing for appointments may however not be completely true because most of those agitating on the streets are actually the common men. But that is not to say some elite are not backing the agitations strictly for their selfish gains.

Now to the issue at hand, the reason why traders spread their tentacles by travelling far and wide is because they are in search of a market for their wares. If the Igbo traders have their customers in the east, I can assure you no one would bother stepping to a land up to 30mins away from his/her homeland. Igbos are businessmen by nature and as long as that remains the case, travelling and living in foreign lands cannot be avoided. You probably know nothing about business that's why you think it would be economically feasible for all Igbo traders to teturn home.

So they should go and buy over-priced shops to massage Ur stvpid ego? As the business man you think you are, how do you think they will balance the books after buying your APC over-priced shops? How long will it take an average trader to do that? Where will they even raise the capital from?
