Thanks to those that created Nairaland and those that opened and contribute to this thread, Most especially the Elders of this land that were helpfully one way or another.
My special appreciation goes out to 40manlappy who was answering my questions and concerns.
After failed attempt to get admission for fall 2016, I prayed to be an international student on full scholarship by December 2017 but I didn't know God had a bigger plan. He wanted me to wait a whole year, work and use the experience for PR application.
With tears dropping from my eyes, I say "Thank you lord!". Omo baba elero (son of a pepper grinder) doing all this can only be you.

Is this for a naira card or usd because I just called their help centre and I was told they no longer allow naira card to be used for int'l transactions. Kindly advise. MrsBee: Standard Chartered has better rates than GT. I saved $40 paying for PR application fees with a StanChart card. |

My set isn't. I gained admission 20...and finished Oct 20..... I just kept telling them to include the iqas form and I got the ECA in the end. I don't know if they did because I didn't see the transcript before it was sent. You might just have to request for a refund (My husband got a full refund ) and go with Wes. MysteryBud: Hi prideandjoy,
Thank you for your response.
I graduated in 2015. I have asked people and they said it's not ready. Please, is your set, the set affected by the long strike? I.e. 2013 set that finished in 2014?
I was told it takes a minimum of 3years to get ready.
Please I still need a way around this.
Someone suggested I go to school and get an attestation letter but I don't know if this will suffice.
One more thing, please when school sent your transcript, did they attach the academic verification form which IQAS sent you as soon as you made payment with a reference number, before sending to IQAS? |

@MysteryBud I evaluated with IQAS and initially I submitted my statement of result but before they issued my ECA, they asked for the degree certificate. Luckily I had just taken it from the school. I graduated in 20... and my certificate has been ready since 20.... What year did you graduate? Yours might be ready MysteryBud: Dear All,
Please this is really urgent. Is there any FUTO graduate here who verified educational certificates with IQAS? Please indicate so I can pm you. IQAS insists on degree certificate before they verify results and it takes up to 3years before it's gotten. This is a big challenge and the ECA process has been put on hold because of this. I need to get in touch with FUTO grads ASAP. Please treat as urgent! |

XX01: I disagree. They have asked for all bank accounts you hold. That people get away with it doesn't make it safe.
What if something triggers them asking? Just get references for those accounts and leave out the SOA. That's what I did.
@prideandjoy Thank you @XX01 |

Hi Guys,
So I've been following this thread since Feb.
Glad to announce I got an ITA yesterday with my CRS being 433
Profile created on 12/9/17 IELTS LRWS 8.5, 8.5, 7.5, 7.5 on 29/4/17
I'd been waiting patiently and painfully for IQAS to come through. ECA completed on 30/8/17 but report received on 11/9/17, I began ECA in March- thanks to my university and IQAS (wonderful duo).
You all are amazeballs!! Thanks for your kindness and assistance, this thread has been super helpful. Congratulations to all ITA and PPR recipients. #slowlybutsurely |
