Addressing members of the Ondo State Executive Committee and other faithfuls of the Peoples Democratic Party at the Secretariat in Akure, Chief Sola Ebiseni said the APC has been an albatross around the neck of the people of Ondo State, noting that it has taken the shine off the Sunshine State.
A lawyer, former Chairman of the old Ilaje/Ese-Odo Local Government, three times Commissioner and a Federal Government delegate at the 2014 National Conference said some of the people-oriented programmes of the past administrations have been destroyed by the present APC government in the state.

Some of the abandoned programmes include the Mother and Child Health Programme, the neighbourhood markets, Free Bus Shuttle Programme by which children were being taken to and from school, noting that when the government recently after seven years decided to bring some of the buses back on the road “as part of its pretentious palliative programmes, it lacked the decency to even repaint them”.

Ebiseni who was the Chief Returning Officer for the PDP in the 2019 general elections in which the party defeated the incumbent APC government in the state by winning the Presidential election, two of the three Senatorial seats and four of the nine House of Representatives seats with APC having only four and SDP one regretted that disunity and internal squabbles have now denied the party its strength.
Delving into the history and geopolitical analysis of the state by which former Governors ensured that dividends of democracy evenly touched the people and every nook and cranny of the state Ebiseni said the APC administration lacks the required knowledge to govern the state peacefully.

He offered himself as an agent of peace and unity within the party in the state noting that he demonstrated same in the past when he worked for the party as Chairman of the Reconciliation Committee even after losing in the gubernatorial primary in 2020. He sued for the coming together of the opposition parties to rescue the state from the rudderless state into which it has been plunged by the APC.

Earlier in his address, the State Chairman, Honourable Fatal Adams extolled the virtues of Chief Ebiseni and noted that his type of politics continues to add value to the party and politics of the state and in the Southwest.

Chief Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni, a lawyer, and a renowned politician, the Secretary General of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has been received by the members and chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), in Ondo State.


Ebiseni whose arrival at the PDP Secretariat in Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo State capital, was received with an atmosphere of jubilation and celebration, with women singing his praise and his supporters chanting his solang ONE, made his return known to newsmen in the conference hall of the party.

According to Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni, he was surprised at the overwhelming welcome given to him and his supporters by the peoples Democratic party members and chieftains in Ondo State.

However, the chairman of the peoples Democratic party. Hon. Adams Tafai said the coming of Chief Ebeseni is the beginning of better days to come for the peoples Democratic party and Ondo State at large.

For labour party to win the 2023 elections at all level, all support groups and youths must be included in the campaign system. When young people are disenfranchised or disengaged from political processes that brings in public officers to office, a significant portion of the population will have little or no voice or influence in decisions that affect their lives.

This assertion was made known in a public forum of all support groups in Ondo State by the Secretary General of Yoruba socio-political organisation Afenifere Mr. Sola Ebiseni. An event put together by the DG of Peter Obi campaign council and his team Prof. Biodun Ambode.

According to Mr. Sola Ebiseni, to make a difference in the longer term, it is essential that young people are engaged in formal political processes and have a say in formulating today’s and tomorrow’s politics. Inclusive political participation is not only a fundamental political and democratic right but also is crucial to building stable and peaceful societies and developing policies that respond to the specific needs of younger generations.

Ebiseni also says, for young people to be adequately represented in political institutions, processes, and decision-making, and in particular in elections, they must know their rights and be given the necessary knowledge and capacity to participate in a meaningful way at all levels.

Meanwhile, the DG of Peter Obi campaign council Prof. Biodun Ambode emphasized who thanked his team and all support groups in the state, said there is need for all support groups to work and cooperate with labour party in order to ensured that the labour party presidential candidate Peter obi wins and other labor party candidates in the state.

The two support groups has taken the good news of the labour party presidential candidate Peter obi to few villages in ondo state.


The support groups members who spoked to the people in English. Yoruba, pidgin and Igbira language gave the people hood reasons why labour party is the party to vote for in Nigeria today.


The villages visited are isingbo, odudu and igoba town, where the people were happy to see the campaign train come to their villages.


The people who expressed their disappointment over the APC government spoke on the hardship they are facing in their communities.

Boye Ologbese pays a familiarization visit to the Director-General DAWN Commission Mr. Seye Oyeleye in Ibadan the Oyo State capital.

According to a communique issued after the meeting between the Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations , Prince Boye Ologbese and Director-General DAWN Commission Mr. Seye Oyeleye, says " the six geo-political zone in the South West region of the country has agreed to work in synergy to achieve a common goal of enhancing the resources of the region".

Prince Boye Ologbese while addressing newsmen, said the meeting with the director general Dawn Commission has given him the in depth understanding of the operations of the commission. The commissioner who has also visited other ministries in ondo state such as ONDIPA, revealed plans to collaborate and organized a 3-day International Business Summit in Abuja coming up on Nov. 15 to Nov. 17. 2022.

Ologbese also told the D. G of DAWN his plan to design Ondo State for business hub of the Southwest excluding Lagos State for self reliance and how he want to use the region mandate and actualise it.

Honourable Boye Ologbese and his team were received by the acting CEO of ONDIPA Engineer Akarakiri in company of the director of investment Dr. Richard Alonge, Legal Adviser Mrs Aladedutire Damilola and Mr. Awu in Akure the Ondo State capital.


Hon. Ologbese who led the team of officials from RIDR which includes Director Finance & Admin, Mrs Ebiseni Margaret Oladele, deputy Director Mrs Olabode Omowumi Omolayo; Permanent secretary Mr. Omooba and the Personal assistant to RIDR honorable commissioner Prince Boye, Mr. T. S. Agbeleye said that his drive for the Ondo state port is due to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN 's passion for the development of Ondo State through investment policies created to make Ondo State an industrial hub.


Prince Boye reiterated That ONDIPA as the major ministry in charge of investments in Ondo state needs to look into the marketing potentials of the ondo port and other mineral resources in the sunshine state.


He thereby stressed the need for synergy between relevant ministries to hold a business submit which can attract investors from both national and international level; as Ondo state people in Diaspora are also looking for viable project to invest.


According to Hon. Ologbese, " Ondo port is a golden egg that can not be hidden from the global market and the potentials of the port can turn around the economy of Africa and can change the face of Ondo State.


The acting CEO of Ondo state development and investment promotion agency ONDIPA Engineer Akarakiri who welcome the commissioner and his team said there is no doubt that the Ondo port will change the economic face of ondo state.


Engineer Akarakiri who expressed his satisfaction in the marketing potential of Ondo port says the state government is still waiting for the federal government's approval once that is done. Ondo port will pilot the investment drive in Africa.


It would be recalled that hon. Boye Ologbese recently paid a courtesy visit to the commissioner for the ministry of energy, mines and mineral resources hon Razak Obe seeking synergy for both ministers to work towards achieving this goal.

The Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations RIDR. Prince Boye Ologbese made this known to newsmen while celebrating Oka day festival with his people.

According to Prince Boye. this cultural event helps to encourage farmers and also showcased the hand work of integrity, thereby promoting unity of diversity with different cultural display of the Oka Akoko tradition.

He also said, the festival brings to light the unity of the Oka Akoko,'s people beautiful culture and values of the ancient tradition, which the ministry of Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations RIDR. can use to pull all the Oka Akoko's sons and daughters in Diaspora to key into the event.

However, Prince Boye Ologbese thanked the Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, for enhancing the ministry"s space web for effective Interactive section where all Ondo State citizenry all over the world can be connected.

Some deregistered political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission, in 2020 under the aegis of Coalition for Good Governance CGG, has declared their support for the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.

According to the national chairman of the coalition for good Governance Mr. Okey Chikwendu, said out of the candidates contesting for the 2023 Presidential ticket's only the Labour Party presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi can stop Nigeria from disintegrating.


According to the Publicity Secretary, Don Anthony Harmattan, the deregistered parties took the decision after carefully studying each presidential candidates to know the most reliable and credible among them.


It could be recalled that INEC deregistered 74 political parties on the ground that they failed to meet constitutional requirements that determine the continuous existence of those political parties in the country, leaving 18 which passed its test in 2020.


However, 15 out of the deregistered political parties says they still have their structures in place, adding that they would all support and work for the success of the former governor of Anambra State.


The statement read,”We have earlier stated that the outcome of the political parties primaries for the presidential ticket and selection of the vice presidential tickets will determine which party we, the Coalition for Good Governance comprising of 15 deregistered political parties and some former presidential candidates would endorse and support for the 2023 presidential election.


Meanwhile, as the wave for a new Nigeria blows across the 36 state and the federal capital, Nigerians and collective bodies are using their resources to mobilized grassroots for the presidential candidate of labour party Mr. Peter Obi.

Hon. Ologbese also said ODIPA has done a commendable job by securing the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) approval. Therefore, R.I.D.R wants to add more economy values through partnership of all relevant ministries in the state.



The honorable commissioner also pointed out that this collaboration will be the engine room that will drive the economy of Ondo state globally. OWO MASSACRE: HON JIDE IPINSAGBA CONDEMNS ATTACK ON CHURCH, CALLS ON SECURITY AGENCIES TO UNMASK PERPETRATORS.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ondo North senatorial District Hon jide Ipinsagba, has condemned the recent attack on St. Francis Catholic Church Owo in Ondo State.

Jide ipinsagba who could not hold back His tears, said, that “This kind of unprovoked attack should not be allowed to recur as any recurrence would have weight consequences on the fragile peace and unity of our Nation.

Hon jide Ipinsagba said this, during a visit to the monarch of owo, His Royal Majesty, the Olowo of owo Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III and the victims of the attack.

According to Jide ipinsagba, "how can any right-thinking person embark on such am evil act against innocent worshippers."

However, Jide Ipinsagba urged all security agencies to work hard towards unmasking those behind the attack and deal decisively with them.

According him, thus will serve as a deterrent to those planning to polarize this country through the fanning of the embers of hate, ethno-religious inclinations and divisiveness.

Hon. Jide ipinsagba also sympathized with the families of the victims of the attack, including the government and people of Ondo State, and prayed God to console them.

Owo Massacre : HON ABIYE ADEMOYEGUN CONDEMNS ATTACK

The All Progressives Congress candidate, Member House of Assembly (MHA) Akoko north east local govt Abiye Ademoyegun
has condemned the unjustified and brutal attack on worshippers of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The incident resulted in the deaths of about 50 innocent persons.

In her statement, Hon Abiye Ademoyegun said it was disheartening that such a heinous crime could occur to the peace loving people of owo.

According to Hon Abiye Ademoyegun "I am heartbroken to learn about the horrible terrorist attack in Owo; my heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the victims, the parish, the Catholic diocese of Owo, the people and government of Ondo State, the Christian community in general, and the entire Owo dynasty on the ugly and sad incidents by the cowards and enemy of peace.


Hon Abiye Ademoyegun, says Nothing could justify this display of violence. Those who carried out this attack on THE HOUSE OF GOD clearly do not share any religious and moral principles.



She urged all Nigerians to come together and start seeing one another as brothers and sisters, regardless of religion or tribe.
According to her, we all should be security conscious and reports any suspected movements to the appropriate authority immediately.


Hon Abiye Ademoyegun also urged the security agencies to make sure these preparators and sponsors of this terrorist acts be brought swiftly to justice.

This month of June is our month of hope and great expectations, looking forward to when our legacy agenda and the solid foundations for Ondo North Senatorial district will bring a sustainable development of our socio-economic and transformation agenda, through Hon. Jide Ipinsagba's candidature as the All Progressives Congress ( APC) party's flag bearer will be fully consolidated for the interests of our people.
