DMerciful: NLC did not strike from Oct till May....where we're having the longest fuel scarcity in history with fuel being sold for over N300/litre but want to commence strike now for N145/litre. Is this commonsense at all? They should be ignored! am sorry to say dat is you dat dint understand the game this government played. they made us suffer for fuel for up to 8 month becos they knew dat if we suffer for fuel for a long period of months, and they latter remove subsidy, people like you will say that dey do u favour. so dear griend, they really played us and many pep dont knw dat. |

seunmsg: It's obvious this strike won't be effective if NLC and TUC goes ahead with it as planned. The labour movement is already divided to enforce any effective nationwide strike.
NLC should just use this opportunity to get the much talked about minimum wage increase and other palliative that can be negotiated and forget about the strike that won't yield any positive outcome. ... hmmmmmm... minimum wages in this present government? i doubt it. |

yinchar: Nigerians want good thing but they don't wanna pay for it. Here in SA, anytime I make a deposit into my personal account from my same bank am charged R35 that's almost N500. For every withdrawal as well am charged R5 that's N65. The VAT here is 14% and am paying a tax of 25% on my monthly salary. Nigeria has the lowest VAT of 5% in the world, yet we complain about everything. I pray people can be more enlightened, this a good policy considering the current economic situations. . So it is when sa went out of ideal they impliment the law? |
