They are lazy becus u practise unitary system. This means that even if a state doesnt work, it would get allocation. FG has no business managing and earning the resources and VAT of states. Let states control their resources and end monthly share of allocation which they even share based on population. This indirectly encourages states to give birth as they wish since they would get allocation from FG. I dont need to work hard as a governor becus I am sure that I will get allocation shared by FG at the end.

So, end the current system and let every state go out and work. No work, no money. U will see how some states will begin to cut down on population growth, running cost, etc.

The best thing is try as much as possible to decentralize Nigeria so that every region will be free from lagos, so that the general tax of Nigerians wont be going to lagos again rather the tax of yoruabs can be in lagos. This way, no body go follow u drag lagos. And as long as Nigeria runs a centralized system, people will always call BAT name or whoever is in power.
