Tchalz: I am using mplab v8.88..MPLAB has hi-tech toolsuite in lite mode which is tha demo edition.Tha code above compiled but my problem is with the proteus simulation..I have .hex files which I g0t from my compiled code using Hi tech C and mpasmwin assembler

I will advice you to forget about that Hi-tech C because that lite mode (or demo version) will not allow you to go far in learning embedded system and the compiler is a bit expensive to buy the full version.
May be you can start with CCS C compiler since this thread is for CCS C. If you don't have CCS you can PM me so that I will give you some links where you can download CCS.

Programming / Re: Microcontrollers by princejude(m): 10:30am On Aug 20, 2013
What version of MPLAB are you using ?
Did you install the hi-tech C compiler in your PC ?

Note that before you can use any compiler toolsuite in MPLAB you must have installed the compiler after installing the MPLAB.

Did your code build successfully when compiled from MPLAB?

Change that 100K resistor at MCLR Pin to 10K

Those 100mS delays are too fast, you can change them to 500mS or 1000mS

You can also reduce the 470R resistors used for the LEDs to 220R to increase the brightness of the LEDs

Politics / Re: Female Officers Join Rally For Jonathan In Abuja by princejude(m): 12:49pm On Aug 16, 2013
Why only female officers? What of their male counterpart? I think the rally was to thank the govt for 35% GENDER appointment stuff.
I saw on AIT when one woman(one of the organizer)said that they are hoping that by 2020 female will get 50% appointment in naija.

Kenbubble: plz is their any circuit i can use to make my soldering heat faster...220v 60w soldering iron but nepa use to give us 100v @princejude and any body who will help.

No cheap or easy circuit. Use stablizer(Automatic Voltage Regulator) or 110V-to-220V step-up transformer.

That was OLD price. I will inform our webmaster to update the price.

I checked the PIC kit link you just posted, the cost of that board is N10k(the board is obsolete(not in stock)). Sorry for the price error.

i think it's the model number.i saw it on microscale website.i think it's used to differentiate the various pic devt board

Ok. we have two types of PIC dev. boards: One with built-in USB-based ISP programmer(N15k) and one without programmer(N10k).

Since you are buying the Pickit3,then you will buy the one without programmer.

Hi Olasesi, Wellcome on-board

for the proxxon mf70, I get the guy's contact thruogh google. He said he has 3 units of mf70 by then but he don't have the cnc conversion kit that comprises the controller board, stepper motors and other accessories. I also get some contacts for the conversion kits ( not in naija) but what discourage me from the mf70 is its working area(width less than 5 cm). Note mf70 is mainly used for jeweries. I will check the guy's number on my phone so that you can call him and ask him if he still have them

If you want to print PCB see me at microscale embedded ltd because we do PCBs

Hi akwafinaaa,

Which milling machine did u use? Is it mf70? I even found out dat the working area of mf70 is too small for my target. Am hoping to try sieg SX3 but too expensive for my pocket now.

I will like to know how far u have been into this cnc stuff.
