The question is as follows: are they rocking the shirt because they support Buhari or are they rocking the shirt because it is a FREE shirt? |
Only God will save our country Nigeria. |
I was in the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos when electricity went out at the airport. A video of the event was recorded (in the departure hall). Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pORfbkOK9g |
Nigga Raw should be hitting chicks "raw" and should be getting them pregnant. He is not living up to his name. |
orbis:There is nothing in the video except a "technician" talking about installing solar panels and how solar energy is an alternative to diesel and gasoline generators...and how using solar generates less fumes and exhaust. And the fact that this made front page is worrisome. |
He is just installing solar panels, a technology that is widely used in California, and we won't hear word. There is no innovation here. I thought I was about to watch a video of an innovation by a Nigerian or a unique business method...anything new...but is this all I get? |
Nigerians and how they like to copy Americans on everything: Halloween, Black Friday, etc. Did anyone notice that the seal of the Nigerian President is a copy of the seal of the President of the United States of America? The font, style, formatting, and everything was copied. It makes me wonder whether or not people use their brains to create new things in that country?

Raiders:And to come and give birth to their children so that their children can serve the dual purpose of can becoming American citizens and serving as anchor babies. |
The author of this article comes off as a person who relishes in lauding and aggrandazing himself. Although completely irrelevant to the issue at hand, the author emphasizes on the manner in which he hands over his passport to the French authorities--with "supreme confidence," the author says. The author further states how he was able to provoke the attention of French authorities with his "Parsian French" accent, which apparently the author claims signals his "perfect command of the French language, culture, and civilization." Seriously? Did the author just proclaim that he wields "perfect command" of not only the French language but also of French "culture and civilization?" It is not over. The author's tone shows that he thinks the French officials have accepted him as one of their own because of the author's ability to say "Putain de Merde" in "Parsian French" accent. You've got to be kidding me! The author, stating that this French lads know that he is one of their own and that he is intentionally provoking them, now proudly brandishes--not his Nigerian passport--but his Canadian passport. This begs the question whether the author is proudly French, proudly Canadian, or proudly Nigerian. The author proclaims he is a champion for the movement against Air France's treatment of Nigerians, the author hides behind his Canadian passport, and the author lastly states the French knew he is one of their own. Bravo, author! The author now unfortunately admits that he made the situation worse for the Nigerians with Nigerian passports coming behind him. What was the author's motive in the first place of spewing his prowess of the French language and culture when he could not make the situation better? It seems the author's goal of writing the article is to show how the French were unable to demean him because of his Parsian French accent (even though the so called French accent did not stop the French authorities from asking him to present his passport). To add frying pan to fire, the author calls Nigerians' complain about the death of our national carrier as a reason for the maltreatment Nigerians receive at the hands of French officials a "yeye argument." What the author fails to realize is that that argument makes more sense and would be more effective than the "braggadocio" tactics employed by the author. At the end of the day, if we had our house in order, as in had a vibrant economy and a respectable national carrier, the French would not treat us the way we are treated. At least we would have options. I commend the author for recognizing that Nigerian officials sometimes underestimate Nigeria's economic prowess and the ability to recognize the dependence of some of these foreign airlines on revenue from Nigerian travelers. Again, it goes back to my earlier assertion that despite these foreign airlines' dependence on revenues from Nigerian travelers, they still maltreat Nigerians; they do so because we have limited options and no national carrier. While I salute the author for his brazen in standing up to the French, it appears to have been motivated out of ego and out of a sense of how he feels he is better than the other Nigerians. His ability to speak with Parsian French accent apparently did not prevent his passport from being checked, and it obviously made it worse for the Nigerian passport holders behind him. |
Nigerians did not benefit from the revenue during the sunny days--15 years of high crude prices-- but now we are expected to pay for the loss of revenue attributable to the decline in crude prices? |
Tubaba needs four more kids to complete a football team. Maybe he can then be the coach of the team with his kids as players and still have a career in football. |

You can tell she is an okrika interior designer without any class. Interior design is not just about saturating your interior with furniture and exposing a pillow emblazoned with a Louis Vuitton logo but carefully creating a theme with furniture, colors, lighting, and purpose. Here, she clearly uses the same furniture and lighting night clubs use in Nigeria. The house has no character, and is just replete with furniture, which frankly anyone with money and a little creativity can do. There is no traditional or contemporary theme, and there is no need for all the neon lights, as the house is not an ashawo joint. She should take the pictures without the lights so that it will expose what the house is actually like. From those pictures, she is hiding behind the neon lights, and she just made the house look like an ashy joint rather than a private home. She is most likely a benighted villager who happened upon a wealthy comedian who is bankrolling her interior design business. Alternatively, she is the product of a failed Nigerian educational system. She probably has no training in interior design; and it shows from the way she designed her own home. Judging from the pictures, this is a quintessential case of money miss road. |
Sagamite: I know. This is well said! That is true. It is a moronic law. |
Sagamite: You must be having a laugh if you think if a guy presses charges that he was sexually molested by having intercourse with a woman while drunk it will reach court in any Western country.GBAM |
Sagamite: RAAAAAAPE!I agree it would be the raaaape under the new law, but I do not think it should be raaaape under practical circumstances. Consent to have sex could be communicated through verbal or nonverbal cues. Clearly, under certain cultures and social norms, it is unladylike to verbally say yes to sex, and a woman communicates her consent to sex by saying a passive verbal no while at the same time giving nonverbal notification of consent to sex by unzipping her pants, pulling her pants down, and ushering her partner's manhood in the direction of her entry. Common sense would tell even the man in training that he should go for it. While I would advise any man, out of an abundance of caution, to withdraw from action when the lady has verbally said no even if that lady is no verbally saying yes, especially in light of this law, as that man may be guilty of rape. We should nevertheless be such adherents to logic that we disregard common sense and practicality, and we should analyze every situation under a "totality of the circumstances" standard. Logic is not always reality, and we know that. For example, because Man U beat Chelsea and Chelsea beat Man City does not mean that Man U will beat Man City. |
What if she says no but she pulls down her pant (pata) nko? |
spanzed:Since everything pertaining to Nigerian government is operated surreptitiously, pictures of Aso Rock are not made available to the public and citizens are not even allowed to come close to Aso Rock. Roads leading to Aso Rock are manned by armed military personnel. Although Aso Rock is built by Nigeria's money and the leader is purportedly elected by the people and supposedly working and serving the people, it makes you wonder why the people are not allowed to come near Aso Rock--the building that symbolizes the seat of Nigeria's executive power. Many Nigerians now take Aso Rock as a mysterious place, save for the select few who have been fortunate enough to visit the place. All in all, it shows that the executive arm of the government is not for the people because it has fenced off the very people it is supposed to serve. |
see as the doctors resemble agberos. |
Alexk2: u are so lucky that i don't go insulting but bros., you shld think again abt all that you post here.Since you know the name of the scientist and the laboratory in which it was developed, oya tell me their names. |
Since majority of Nigerians are either illiterates or educated illiterates, their response to America's claim does not surprise me. The scientist who created the so called ebola drug chose to remain anonymous. Why? He chose to because he is a scam. A real scientist will stand by his creation and defend it in peer review and scientific journals. Which laboratory was used in the development? Has it been tested on animals? Is there a procedure in place for clinical trials? This "feel among" attitude displayed by all these benighted Nigerians without the infrastructure that entitles you to be among is laughable. You want to feel as though you are producing an Ebola cure but you don't have electricity, you have a decrepit educational system, you have no funding for scientific research, and you have no procedure for regulating clinical trials. But you want to feel among. Good luck to the people taking Nigeria's Ebola drug. |
First of all I commend Gov. Fashola for a job well done. My issue now is whether or not the construction was well thought out, owing to the fact that this building is launched in 2014, and giving the incompetency and mediocrity of Nigerian leaders and Nigerian-trained professionals. Was a parking deck that will have sufficient parking for the traders and their customers constructed? Even if the parking deck was constructed, hope it was not designed in such fashion that it will require you to block another car when you park? Is there water supply? Is there a cafeteria or food court? Is the parking congruent with the flow of traffic? This is important because a traffic gridlock occasioned by the market would dilute any contributions made be the construction of the market. Is there a plan in place where association fees will be collected from the traders that will be used for the upkeep and maintenance of the market? Has a trash collection system been instituted? Are there restrooms/toilets in multiple locations that will be sufficient for the traders and the eventual patrons when the market is at peak capacity? If any restrooms are there, do they have sufficient urinals (for men restrooms) and toilets (for both men and women restrooms) that will accommodate the traders and patrons when the market is at peak capacity? These are some of my thoughts. I could go on and on, but these are just the pressing ones that I hope were taken into account when the market was designed. I know that many, if not most, Nigerian-trained architects and engineers are incompetent and are terrible at basic, let alone critical, thinking. |
Just about Every project in Nigeria uses either of the following phrases: "will be"; "hope to"; "soon to be"; "promise to"; "propose." You rarely hear them use "has been" completed. |
very soon Yankee will tell Naija to give it 2M barrels of oil in exchange for the serum. |
tbaba1234: Exactly, I rate success ahead of him.Manu Garba did an excellent job scouting. You have to take into account, however, that scouting is relatively easy than it was in the past. Scouting in the past had to be done on a street level, as most of our football talents played street football. To the contrary, nowadays, most of our football talents play at football academies. All you have to do is attend the top football academies in the nation and you will find serious football talents. Good thing is that these kids are taught the fundamentals of football in their football academies at a very young age, so they are easier to coach when they are playing with a team in a more competitive stage. |
nifton: Wen i said dis boi shud av been at d world cup in place of mikel, pple crucified me dat he is too tender and inexperienced.Abeg dat guy dat came off d bench and scored d US only goal against d Red devil no be 16 im dey.Don't mind Nigerians...they do not know how to give the youth a chance. Many of them were saying he should wait for his time and that he was too young. If you are good, you are good, irrespective of your age. Nigerians need to learn that. Everything in their life is always about someone being a small boy. Very useless people. Iheneacho and Awoniyi on that squad would have infused energy, speed, and a lethal attack to our team. The goal Iheanacho scored yesterday would have been missed by everyone in the Super Eagles squad. They would still be trying to dribble or would be too scared to strike. |
doro nonsense |
In America, they call guys like this technicians, not engineers. In Nigeria, they call guys like this engineers. Some Nairalanders who have never left the shores of Nigeria or who don't understand world-class higher education won't get it. |

The French player who took out Onazi should have been red carded. He was ordered to take Onazi out of the game. |
Lets give her the benefit of the doubt that she was trying to create an atmosphere of sorts for the purpose of the pictures.. Those Neons should never come on again except he is hosting a house party.
