Politics / Re: ASUU Strike: I Think The Lecturers Are Dumb by princeleo1: 2:48am On Aug 01, 2009
I dont blame the lecturers. what I blame is the system? Even calling on the federal government to sign such an agreement is a clear indication that they are not truely lecturing, otherwise they should know the implication of that  better than any other person. Even a goat knows what federalism is all about.

Career / Re: I Rejected A 15K Job With Alpha Technologies by princeleo1: 12:43am On Jul 18, 2009
Gradute+2years xperince=15k/month? Haba. well, to me, vacancy did not exist in this company. it was just out to ridicule Nigerian graduates. I dont really undersdand what u guys are saying about gaining experience even though the said applicant has already gotten the required experience. lets not sweep the truth under the carpet please. 15k/month is not only unfair for a graduate, viewed from any perspective, it is also wicked. it is quite legal but immoral. For those of u saying that it depends on comfort and agreement or words to that effect , note that an under age child might have agreed to render services for peanut, yet this is called child abuse on the part of the employer. I repeat, 15k/month is immoral, wicked etc
Politics / Why Do Women Call For Concession In Political Participation? by princeleo1: 2:40pm On Jun 29, 2009
Why is it that women call for concession in political participation even though they know that 'what a man can do, a woman can also do even better'? since there is no section of the constitution that disallows or restricts women participation and they are very sure that they can slug it out with men, why not come out and participate and stop asking for any consideration?
Career / Is It Advisable For An Elecrical Eng'vice Og Graduate To Remain Zamfara Teaching by princeleo1: 6:08am On Jun 27, 2009
Fellow Nairalanders, please I am a new member. I read electrical engineering with 2.2 and I teach in a secondary school presently in Gusau, Zamfara State capital. I have been in this teaching for the past two years and my school course mates together with whom I had graduated and are residing in other states are getting good job offers. Zamfara state is less indusrialised. please I need the advice of house. Is it advisable to give up and remain in Zamfara owing to lack of job or go to more industrialised states and struggle the way my collegues are doing it?
Business / Re: Best Nigerian Bank? by princeleo1: 5:24am On Jun 27, 2009
ACEESS Bank may not be the most capitalised, but your money is in safe hands and you are free of all these useless and annoying charges. ATM wahala is minimal.
Education / Re: Why Is The English Language Skill Of Nigerian Graduate So Appalling? by princeleo1: 3:56am On Jun 27, 2009
The inability of Nigerian graduates to speak/write in good English has even assumed a crisis dimension. Very unfortunate. The situation has gotten so bad that a good number of English graduates can not speak good English, not to talk of writing well. (The assumption that some people are better in speaking than in writing is only an assumption, infact a false assumption). A situation in which a secondary school English teacher (who read English in the university) can not piece up words together to form shocked a simple good sentence is, to say the least, a very bad one. I once came across an English graduate who argued that the word 'forgave' doesn't exist in English language.
For most non-english gradutes, it is safer to assume that they have never had any formal education in English language.
