PoliticsJonathan Is Clean, Honest – Wikileaks Quotes El-rufai In 2007 by princenayo(op): 6:29pm On Jan 06, 2014
Contrary to his scathing criticisms, former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Mallam Nasir El-Rufai gave President Goodluck Jonathan a clean bill of health on financial accountability and transparency on the international front,a fresh report by Wikileaks has revealed.
In a United States diplomatic cable just made public by the whistle blowing organization, El-Rufai described President Jonathan as “ clean and honest”.
Details of the confidential cable with reference 07ABUJA77, show that the controversial politician gave the endorsement during an interactive session with the erstwhile American Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr John Campbell, in the build-up to the 2007 general elections.
Explaining the rationale behind the emergence of late President Umaru Yar Adua and Goodluck Jonathan as the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) candidates, El-Rufai informed the ambassador that “they were the only two Governors that could have cleared the EFCC hurdles”
The cable further reported El-Rufai as stating that in the contest for the Vice Presidency, “Governor Jonathan was the only candidate that met Obasanjo’s guidelines- honesty and Ijaw”

Mallam Nasir El-Rufai
The Ambassador’s report disclosed that “the Minister said the PDP leadership pushed for Rivers Governor Peter Odili as the Vice Presidential candidate but that Odili along with Governors Markafi (Kaduna) and Mu’azu (Bauchi), face ‘integrity issues’ with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)”, that Jonathan was the most qualified candidate.

A Boko Haram chieftain and weapon manufacturer has been arrested by the Joint Task Force at an Improvised Explosive Devices, (IEDs) factory in Kazaure Local Government Area, Jigawa state.

A dawn-raid at the hideout by armed soldiers saw the apprehension of the notorious bomb-maker and his family without any death, though the terrorist engaged the security squad in a gun-duel.
Three women and three children were rescued by the JTF during the operation, while the unnamed Boko Haram kingpin was apprehended alive.

Items recovered during the raid that resulted to a gun duel include five AK 47 rifles, five magazines, and 333 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and various improvised explosive devices.

PoliticsLetter To Jonathan: Nigerians Gun Down Obasanjo. by princenayo(op): 4:42pm On Dec 13, 2013
Activists, lawyers and others have likened former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter bombing President Goodluck Jonathan as that of a pot calling kettle black, saying the former leader is guilty of the same offence.

He accused President Jonathan, among others, of promoting corruption, ethnicity; having a killer squad; tackling Boko Haram with kid gloves and aspiring for a second term in office when he said he will only run for a single term.

Reacting to Obasanjo’s letter, National Publicity Secretary, Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, said Obasanjo was as guilty as Jonathan as he did worst things than President Jonathan when he was in power.

“Nigerians should be weary of Obasanjo whenever he said something; it is either he is trying to settle scores, even though Jonathan is facing challenges,” he said.

Odumakin urged Nigerians not to allow Obasanjo to deceive them with his frank talks as whatever he did “is self-serving but that does not mean Jonathan should not address corruption.”

Convener, Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL, Comrade Debo Adeniran said Obasanjo’s letter is like that of a pot calling kettle black.

“It is unfortunate that it is now that Obasanjo sees the fight against corruption as waning. In his days, he frustrated the fight against corruption.

“The ICPC under Obasanjo was underfunded. The EFCC under him was used to suppress the voice of political enemies. Obasanjo came to power with less than N20,000 and left power as a multi-billionaire,” he said.

According to him, “Obasanjo has no moral right to criticise Jonathan even though things are bad with this government. He should keep quiet and allow people with integrity to talk.”

A member of the House of Representatives, Lanre Odubote said Obasanjo is not different from Jonathan as the former president promoted the culture of lawlessness and impunity.

“They are birds of the same feather. He is only talking now because he has misunderstanding with the president but this is good for our democracy,” he stated.

Activist, Bamidele Aturu described Obasanjo’s letter to Jonathan as damning, saying what the former president had revealed was what Nigerians already knew.

PoliticsHow Obasanjo Slept With His Son's Wife And Destroyed His Marriage by princenayo(op): 11:01am On Dec 13, 2013
The saying that those whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad, may be haunting Nigeria's ex-tyrant once again. This time, it is not the ex-dictator's violent and lawless kleptocracy that seems to be the matter. Judging from the sworn affidavit by Obasanjo's first son, Gbenga, it would appear that his father's life may be much more seedy and sordid than anything one has ever imagined. To cut a long story short, Gbenga, through his lawyers, attested that his father, Olusegun "Igbochukwu" Obasanjo, has had a love affair with his wife! Readers are invited to digest the report on this abomination below. Poor Gbenga! What kind of father would destroy a son's life this way? Like in the Iyabo contract scandal, this "family affair" (no pun intended) has profound socio-economic implications for the country.

First son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Gbenga, has sensationally accused him , presently asking Lagos High Court to dissolve the seven-year-old marriage, doubts the paternity of the fruits of the wedlock. The shocking revelation is contained in a fresh affidavit deposited to by the petitioner in response to cross petition of the defendant, a copy of which was made available to Sunday Sun .

Earlier, Mojisola had accused Gbenga of sundry sins including assault and battery. The divorce suit has been dragging in court since 2006. The 50-paragraph affidavit is averred to on Gbenga’s behalf by his solicitors, Addeh Associates.

The tenth paragraph says: “The Petitioner (Gbenga Obasanjo) further avers that he knows for a fact that the Respondent committed adultery with and had an intimate, sexual relationship with his own father, General Olusegun Obasanjo, due to her greed to curry favours and contracts from him in his capacity as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

"The Petitioner avers that the Respondent also got rewarded for her adulterous acts with several oil contracts with the NNPC from his father, General Olusegun Obasanjo, amongst which was the NNPC consultancy training in supply chain management and project management awarded to her company Bowen and Brown."

The eighth paragraph says: “The Petitioner avers that the respondent confided in him severally while they were living together that she had been sexually abused and defiled by her father in Law”.

It is a pity that such an adulterous Man would have the moral justification to point an accusing finger on sitting president who happens to be his successor. This is A CASE OF A POT CALLING KETTLE BLACK.

PoliticsSenate Bars “corruption Personified” Mallam El-rufai From Holding Public Office by princenayo(op): 6:41pm On Dec 12, 2013
After assessing the activities of Mallam el-Rufai as FCT Minister we conclude that, he is not a fit and proper person to hold public office in a democratic set up.

Former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has been declared unfit to hold public office. He is also to forfeit a house he allegedly allocated to himself during the sale of Federal Government houses in Abuja.
In an interim report, the Senate Joint Committees on FCT and Housing which probed the FCT Administration(FCTA) between 1999 and 2007, said “el-Rufai is not a fit and proper person to hold office in a democratic setting.”

The committee’s chairman, Senator Abubakar Sodangi, submitted the report on tuesday.

The report upbraided el-Rufai over the sale of Federal Government houses in FCT, and recommended that his administration should account for N32billion balance of the proceeds.

Besides, el-Rufai is to account for funds collected by the Abuja Geographic Information System (AGIS), Satellite Town Development Agency and Abuja Investments and Property Development Company Limited.

The panel also recommended that all those who disobeyed court orders then should be prosecuted by the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF).

A copy of the recommendations obtained by The Nation reads: “All officers who disobeyed or ordered the disobedience of court orders should be prosecuted by the Attorney-General of the Federation;”

“Also on the sale of Federal Government houses, the total receipt is N96.7 billion and deductions were N34.2 billion and the balance was given as N62.19 billion. The bank statements showed only N29 billion, leaving a balance of only N32 billion unaccounted for despite all demands from him and his officers.”

“After assessing the activities of Mallam el-Rufai in his duties as FCT Minister we came to the inevitable conclusion that:

•he should account for all funds collected by the ad-hoc bodies he raised during his tenure, namely AGIS, Ad hoc Committee on sale of government houses in FCT, the Satellite Town Development Agency, and Abuja Investments and Property Development Company Limited, among others;

•that the house he obtained for himself where he signed as lessor and lessee be revoked as a person cannot sell an item to himself; and

•that Mallam el-Rufai is not a fit and proper person to hold public office in a democratic set up.

PoliticsHow Opposition Figures Told Lies About Mandela And Okupe? by princenayo(op): 10:31am On Dec 10, 2013
The quote currently circulating on Social Media in which Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, was quoted to have said that President Goodluck Jonathan is Nigeria’s Mandela is a hoax. The quote is a lie which originated with one Theresa Ugwuanyi.

Theresa, a fairly well known blogger had falsely alleged that Dr. Okupe said “Nelson Mandela was a great leader, he lived his life for the people of South Africa.

“I check through the history of Nigeria, among the our past and present leaders, the only one we call our Mandela here in Nigeria is President Jonathan. There is no any President in Nigeria that has sacrifice 13 hours to discuss with ASUU.”

Opposition figures like former FCT minister, Nasir el-Rufai and others circulated the hoax and it went viral. But when confronted with evidence that the story was a hoax, Theresa Ugwuanyi, who started it all, issued an apology on her facebook page saying as follows; “Nigerians and their flare for hot gist..the quote credited to Dr Doyin Okupe was a joke carried too far..I have offered my apologies to Dr Okupe and advice all to hold their fire..don’t want to go to jail yet..remember I pleaded the 5th amendment on that post..I hold Dr Okupe in very high regard and would never deliberately set out to ridicule his good name or office”.

PoliticsASUU Has Boxed Itself Into A Corner By Abimbola Jones And Adamu Mohammed by princenayo(op): 1:58pm On Dec 06, 2013
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), although composed of intellectuals, from the lowest to the highest, remains a trade union. Naturally, it employs the crude and rough tactics associated with trade unions elsewhere in the world. Over 5 months since then, ASUU and the Federal Government have been fighting what may now be referred to as a battle of supremacy. On the side of ASUU, the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) has been assisting in the negotiation. The Federal Government’s team has deployed the best and the highest on ground, the Ministers of Finance, Education and Labour, Secretary to the Government of the Federal (SGF), the Vice-President and then the President himself. It is unusual for the President of a country to be directly involved in negotiations with trade unions. But, perhaps, because Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was, himself, an ASUU member, he joined in the negotiations. So, on 4th November, 2013, the President personally led a team of Government officials in a marathon meeting that lasted for over 13 hours. At the end of that meeting, Government and ASUU agreed on certain items, which included funding for the revitalization of the universities and payment of earned allowances.

In particular, it was agreed that in funding the revitalization of the public universities, a six-year instalment payment was to be done: N200 billion for 2013 and N220 billion for each of the remaining 5 years till 2018. For this purpose, a dedicated revitalization account was to be opened at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). For the Earned Allowances, N30 billion had already been made available with a pledge by Government to make additional funds available, subject to a report by an Implementation Monitoring Committee (IMC). Instead, the Union introduced four new conditions referred to as “certain uncertainties”.

They are: that the N200 billion agreed upon as 2013 Revitalization Fund for public universities shall be deposited with the CBN and disbursed to the benefitting universities within two weeks; that the renegotiation of the 2009 Agreement in 2014 be included in the final document as agreed at the discussion with Your Excellency; that a Non-victimization clause, which is normally captured in all interactions of this nature, be included in the final document; and that a new Memorandum of Understanding shall be validly endorsed; signed by a representative of Government, preferably the Attorney-General of the Federation, and a representative of ASUU, with the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) as a witness.

ASUU insisted that until the Federal Government complied with the above, the strike action would continue. Although some of these issues were discussed at the meeting with the President, ASUU’s insistence, as listed, was either an after-thought or a ploy to ensure that the crisis was never resolved. Curiously, when the President of ASUU was confronted that, as a matter of fact, a dedicated account had already been open at the CBN, his response was that ASUU had not been informed. The issue of non-victimisation clause, demanded b

PoliticsA Press Conference On ASUU Strike By Doyin Okupe On 4th Dec, 2013. by princenayo(op): 5:53pm On Dec 04, 2013
GENTLEMEN OF THE PRESS,
It has become necessary for us to show proof to the Nigerian public confirming our earlier statement that following the Presidential intervention on the ongoing strike by Nigerian University lecturers, President Goodluck Jonathan gave the required instructions to ensure the fulfillment of what was agreed with the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
On the 13th of November 2013, the office of the Accountant General of the Federation authorized the banking and payment system department of the Central Bank of Nigeria via a letter with reference number FD/OAGF/220/ADC/1/4DF to open a “revitalization of Universities Infrastructural Account” with the CBN. On the 29th of November, 2013, the CBN confirmed in a letter reference BPSD/BSD/CON VOL 17/088 to the Accountant General of the Federation that the said account had been opened and an account number was given.
Prior to all these, the Director of Funds in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation MK DIKWA, through a letter reference FD/LP2008/37/C/I/DF dated 8th of November communicated with the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Universities Commission requesting for the list of Federal Universities in Nigeria for the purpose of opening a Special Account for them. On the 12th November, 2013, the NUC through the office of the Executive Secretary, Prof Julius Okojie in a letter reference NUC/ES/444/VOL15/280 responded to the request and gave the list of the Universities with their various account numbers domiciled with the CBN. Following this, the Accountant General has communicated with the Executive Secretary requesting for the details of amount payable to each of the listed Universities which is currently being processed by the NUC.
I state categorically that I have personally seen the balance in the account as of today and confirm that it contains the requisite amount and disbursement will commence as soon as on going administrative processes are sorted out.
Distinguished Gentlemen, we want to re affirm that the President and this administration have no credibility issues whatsoever. Mr President has always honored his words and obligations to the Nigerian people as and at when due.
Finally, given due considerations to the four items mentioned by ASUU as preconditions to their calling off the strike, we state categorically that none of them remain substantially pending or weighty enough to justify the continuation of the strike. Therefore there are no further legitimate reasons for the strike by University teachers to continue a day any longer. We therefore call on Dr Nasir Fagge, his distinguished colleagues in the ASUU leadership as well as other patriotic members of their Union to put all else aside and call off this strike in the interest of our young men and women who have been kept out of school for 5 months and who have no recourse to any form of compensation whatsoever.
Having come this far, we believe it is time that we all come together once again as major stakeholders in the affairs of the country and the educational sector in particular to move on and begin to chart a new course for advancing the sector and improving the standard of our institutions for higher learning. There are no victor or vanquished in this protracted disagreement.
Thank You
Dr Doyin Okupe
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs

PoliticsJonathan Promises North East Zone Supports For Socio-economic Development by princenayo(op): 12:28pm On Dec 04, 2013
President Goodluck Jonathan announced Tuesday in Gombe that the Federal Government is currently evolving an intervention programme specifically targeted at accelerating the pace of socio-economic development in the North-East geo-political zone of the country.

Speaking at the opening of the 2nd North-East Economic Summit, President Jonathan noted, however, that the re-establishment of peace and security in the zone was essential for the successful implementation of the measures and actions envisaged in the intervention programme.

The President therefore urged governments, traditional rulers, community leaders and the people of the North-East to give their full support to the armed forces and security agencies currently operating in the area to ensure the speedy return of peace and normalcy in areas affected by insurgency and acts of terrorism.

“My administration is committed to doing all within its powers and abilities to end the security problems of the North-East and help the region to productively harness its abundant resources once again for the benefit of its people and all other Nigerians.

“There can be no doubt that the unique experience that this region has had with Boko Haram necessitates aggressive and urgent action to revitalize its economy. Such action entails a functional partnership involving the federal government, state and local governments as well as traditional leaders of thought in the region.

“There is a need for the North East to join forces with the Federal Government in articulating a unique transformation vision and plan to drive the region’s future. The plan I envisage must be based on a partnership model in which all of us must play our respective roles,” President Jonathan said.

The President informed the gathering that the Federal Government was currently consulting with State Governments in the zone to define a shared vision, workable strategies and responsibilities of all stakeholders for the economic resurgence of the region.

He said that his administration will also welcome an input from participants at the summit to the process of defining roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders, including civil society and traditional groups, as well as timelines for specific actions and service delivery.

“While my administration has consistently rejected the notion that poverty and economic backwardness is primarily responsible for turning the North-East into a hotbed of insurgence and terrorist activity in recent years, we have never denied the need to give the region all possible support to enable it develop at the same pace as other parts of the country, provide improved living conditions for its people and contribute effectively to overall national economic growth.

“I am here with you today because I fully recognize that the North-East’s current security challenges which we are doing our utmost best to address make it even more imperative that it should receive the greatest possible support and cooperation from the federal government to enable governments in the region define and implement effective programmes that will accelerate the pace of post-crisis recovery and development,” President Jonathan further said.

Declaring his belief that the North-East has all the human and natural resources it requires to develop at the same pace as other geo-political zones of the country, the President paid tribute to great sons of the region such as Idris Alooma, Modibbo Adama, Buba Yaro, Mallam Yakubu, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and Sir Kashim Ibrahim.

National Congress of Ohaji Youths (NACOY), Imo State, and members of the family of late Simeon Obodo, a Nigerian who was murdered in Goa, India, less than a month ago, yesterday, stormed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja, to protest what they called the gruesome murder of their brother.

The group, which was received by the Foreign Affairs Minister, Professor (Mrs.) Viola Onwuliri, and a team of top personnel in the ministry at about 6:30pm at the minister’s Conference Room, described the killing of Obodo as “unacceptable, painful and regrettable.”

First to speak was the brother of the deceased, Ejike Esin Konye, who told the minister that they were in the ministry “to show that we are bitter, we are shattered by the sudden death of our brother and to register our displeasure in the way our government is handling the matter.”

The National President of NACOY, Akumefula Moses Iheanyi Chukwu, said since the killing of their brother by the Indians, the youth of Ohaji have been in psychological pains and restlessness, filled with anger.

He said it was disheartening that since the murder, the Indian government was yet to take a tangible step to bring the remains back to Nigeria for burial and that many Nigerians who protested the killing in the country were arrested and still being detained.

He also flayed the Federal Government’s weak intervention on the issue.

“And most annoying is that till this moment, over 50 Indians are still working with some of the oil companies in Ohaji without being harassed,” he said.

Iheanyi Chukwu said not for the appeal of Hon. Luke Chukwu, a member representing Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area in Imo State House of Assembly, who has been calling on the youths to maintain peace in the area, the youths would have launched attacks on Indians in the state.

He said the youths in the area demand that all Nigerians arrested and detained by Indian Police based on their demonstration on the matter should be released within 48 hours beginning from yesterday; that the remains of Simeon Obodo be brought back to Nigeria and given a befitting burial by the Indian government before the end of the first week of December.

“Our position is that, the Indian government should give answers to the following questions within 48 hours: Who takes care of his aged parents and dependants? The Indian government should give us reasons why our brother was killed without telling Nigeria the offence he committed; the Indian government should convince the people of Ohaji that Mr Simeon Obodo would not have been the next President of Nigeria,” the youth president demanded.

He, however, stressed that the youths of the area are waiting for quick responses to their demands, otherwise, they may be forced into reprisal attack.

Responding, the minister called on the youths to continue to maintain peace as the Federal Government had already stepped into the matter. She assured all Nigerians that the government will not fold its arms for any Nigerian to be killed abroad.

“I know the pain of losing a dear one. But when it happened, I summoned the Head of the Indian Mission and asked for unreserved apology. I instructed that the eviction and deportation ordered by the Indian government be reversed, and failure to do this will lead us handling it diplomatically too. But we have received the apology and some Nigerians have been released,” she said.

She said the death of Obodo has strengthened Nigeria’s resolve to better the lot of its citizens in India and other countries where they reside, adding that by tomorrow, November 26, a high-powered delegation of ambassadors, officials from Ministry of Justice, etc, will be leading others to negotiate and sign agreement with the Indian government.

i hate it when you enter a bus and someone is trying to prove holier than thou in the name of preaching. its a violation of the rights of other passengers. will you tolerate it if it was a Muslim preaching and reading the Koran in the bus? of course not. so why do you think you are superior and can do what you like when you enter a PUBLIC bus? shouting and disturbing the peace of other passengers who probably doesnt agree with your teaching or the doctrine you are trying to propagate. i remember one very incident where a man started preaching in a bus i was traveling shouting and trying to show his theological knowledge. and i was discussing quietly with a fellow passenger beside us and the man shouted at me and asked me to keep quiet there.. mennnh! i told him to keep quiet and stop disturbing the bus. i mean, if he has the right to preach, why does he feel i should surrender my freedom of expression? what if i don't agree with his doctrine and feel the need to defend my belief and it results to argument and fight? who will you blame. please let our light shine before men, not your words. if you can preach in a public bus, preach to your closest neighbor or ask for the permission of other passengers before you proceed. Your belief and conviction is between you and your God; dont try to shove it down the throat of others.
PEACE!!!!!!
PoliticsThe SSS, The Police And Their Cat And Mouse Game Over APO Killing by princenayo(op): 1:31pm On Sep 23, 2013
The SSS, the Police and their cat and mouse game over APO killing
In the early hours of Friday, a Joint Security operation of the military and the SSS led to the death of some persons behind Apo legislative quarters, Abuja. According to statement by the SSS spokes person, the operation was to dig for hidden arms in some uncompleted buildings in the area.
Since the news broke, different groups have reacted to the incident. However, the Police seem to be leading the group of those questioning the SSS version of the event. They have even come out to say they will probe the incident and those involved.
The action of the Police is as possibly related to their exclusion from major security operations by the SSS and the Army. The Police authorities are expressing anger that they have been sidelined by the others because of the perceived lack of trust on them. In May this year the military refused to follow the SSS and the Police to Nasarawa operation against the Ombatse cult because of their resolve not to be part of any operations involving the Police. True to their concern, the security agencies were killed and it was later revealed that a Police man had warned the Ombatse cult group of the intention of the security agencies.
Following that incident, the Police have been left out of all major security operation, including the one at Apo and they appear to be looking to get their pounds of flesh from the controversy surrounding the development. Am not interested in who does what, I just want to be safe wherever I go. Let them stop this cat and mouse game and do their work. Period.

Where did this one say he was traveling to, America or UK? If the security Agency had flogged the first guy mercilessly, the 2nd person would not have attempted it.
PoliticsStop Disgracing Me, Jonathan Begs Breakaway PDP Governors; Faction. by princenayo(op): 1:38pm On Sep 02, 2013
President Goodluck Jonathan has appealed to governors elected on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stop disgracing him in public

Jonathan, who is still coping with the unexpected shock he received yesterday when seven governors broke away from the party to form a parallel PDP during the party's mini convention in Abuja, called the governors to a peace meeting at the Presidential Villa on Sunday night.

But as of the time of this report, only 16 of the 23 governors, including those of the G5+ who had been on a consultation tour, had arrived at the meeting, which was being held at the previously-unknown First Lady wing in the villa. Several of the governors hurriedly left Abuja to avoid meeting with the president.

They were Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (Kano), Isa Yuguda (Bauchi), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Idris Wada (Kogi), Liyel Imoke (Cross River), Jonah Jang (Plateau), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara), Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina), Murktar Ramalan Yero (Kaduna), Garba Umar (Taraba Acting Governor), Seidu Dakingari (Kebbi), Theodore Orji (Abia), and Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe).

Also present at the meeting were the counsel to PDP, Joe Kyari Gadzama; the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim; and the Chief of Staff to the president, Mike Oghiadhome.

President Jonathan, along with his deputy, Namadi Sambo and some members of the PDP leadership, arrived at the venue of the meeting at exactly 9.27pm, while the governors were waiting.

Sources at the meeting said the President urged the governors to stop disgracing him at public.

The source said, "The President, who looked subdued, begged the governors to sheathe their swords and stop disgracing him in the public."

Did I hear u say ABUSED? A matured adult woman willingly accept a sex offer from a pastor for seven days and u called it abused. Besides, why did it take her that long before bringing up the issue. for me this is a mutual affair gone sour. May be the pastor was no longer living up to expectation and the idiot girl decided to blow up everything. And if I may ask, what does she want to achieve by telling the whole world. Are we God that she is suppose to ask for forgiveness for sleeping wt a man of God? Pls she should save us this publicity. We are not interested.
