-making use of water-proof cement mix during plastering of the wall.
-making use of water proof paint from @gbadexy.
-tiling to conceal the dampness.

please there is no alternative for now the best you can do is to lower the thickness maybe down to 75mm or 3inches to save cost, if you don't, you will regret not doing so in future

If you are installing POP you will need recess light like i earlier uploaded. Get the original in the market. I have a brand that you can not easily sorce from the market. It's German product called LIPER.

Yes, there is a perfect plan.

A perfect plan must demonstrate three non-negotiable elements:

#1. FLOW: a perfect plan must have a flow. No be kitchen dey Zungeru and dining dey Odogbolu. Or toilet dey Isiala-Ngwa North and bedroom dey Kokori. So after having your bath, you travel the length and breadth of the whole house just to get to the bedroom to change.

#2. SUNLIGHT: Every space MUST benefit from sunlight. This means no dead or redundant spaces or dark and dingy corners.

#3. VENTILATION: Every space SHOULD benefit from natural ventilation.

Any plan that demonstrates the above elements is a perfect plan. Any other nuances like all ensuite, visitors toilet, prayer room, kitchenette, etc are just personal preferences unique to the individual or our they live. So every plan will face calls for changes because we are different in our experiences, our we interpret life (reality), and how we live.

My carpenter was also not happy I got the supply of wood from another source ( hslbroker2). But when I asked him of the quality, he confirmed the quality was ok. So I told him case close. After all, I go pay you for your job.

He has promise to do POD... I have promise to pay him IMMEDIATELY.... My carpenter and Engr will received the truck, count the wood, ensure it's okay and they will signal me to pay... Hslbroker2 has ASSURED me that what he's bringing will be of utmost quality, not MIX, exact specification and i will be happy with it... I will come here to give feedback... If this goes through, then i will consider this thread for my window/door/plumbing etc... It's my little way of saying, Thank you to the thread and the MEN here, i always receive valuable info.

And from the classification I gave up there, the number of times you might consider to apply insecticides increases from number 1-4. The reason is because as they stay longer to attain maturity, the more insects can attack them.

Let me put it into analogy

You are defecating openly in a bush, the longer you stay while pushing the thing to come out, the more different house flies meet you on it.

Naturally, beans attract insect attacks, so the longer they stay, the more they come.

And in fact you have follow the normal regimen of insecticides application for trailing cowpea, insecticides at 4-5 weeks, (repeat every 2 weeks on, in areas of heavy pest infestations), in low incidence of pest, apply again when flowering after the 4-5 weeks, apply when seed are maturing against seed borers and caterpillars. 10 days to harvesting don't apply insecticides at all

Infact they are just terrible, I don't know the kind of joy or satisfaction they derive from making and keeping other people sad. Went to site this morning, lo and behold, they cut off my pumping machine wire and went away with both the wire and the control switch. how much them won con sell them. The funniest thing is that the land is fenced.
