Family / Re: What Do You Bring To The Table !! by PrincessC11(f): 4:50pm On Nov 28, 2023
Wisegeek01:
Here's the opinion you wont see anywhere on the internet . .. and you are hearing it for the first time
Sit tight !!

The phrase what are you brining to the table .. has grossly been misunderstood, some men that even ask the question don't even know why they are asking the question, while on the other hand some women fly into a fit of rage or keep dodging the question, why they are angry they don't even know, its just a psychological impulse,

first of all it is not mandatory for the lady to actually bring finance into the mix but it helps so that should not be the centre of the question, so the men asking and referring to finance really shouldn't do that, focus on what she is supposed to bring

.. its not her job to bring finance, so if you are referring to that you are asking the wrong contextual question, a lady actually has what she should bring to the table, but sadly not a lot of ladies have taken their time to sit down and think about the question, because the are always offended or defensive, its just a simple question, that you need to understand, its not you mdfkn job to bring finance, that is what the man should bring to the table,

what the lady brings to the table .. ranges from
great values
Emotional Intelligence
Attention to Detail
Organizational Skills
Nurture and Care
Empathy and Compassion
Collaborative Spirit
Multitasking Abilities
Intuition
Social Skills
Diplomacy
Support

when you list these features and tell the man you posses these traits
now it's your turn to ask him
what does he bring to the table
...
he should have most of these below
finance
protection
security
Leadership
Decision-Making Skills
Stability
Emotional Support
Problem-Solving Abilities
Initiative
Adaptability
Sense of Humor
Integrity
Shared Responsibilities

marriage or relationship is team effort, not competition
the next time i hear that question in the wrong context I fit flog person cool grin

Nice ☺️☺️☺️.

I understand how you feel. But I don't think divorce is the answer.

Ask him to find a help. That is the only solution. After all if you leave,he must find a solution. So insist on him finding a HELP that her work will solely to take care of the girl.

Remember, divorce is not the solution.

Religion / Re: CAMA: FG Says Religious Bodies Must Submit Details Of Their Finances by PrincessC11(f): 9:23pm On Aug 22, 2020
Please I have a question:
Please what's the advantages or importance of a religious body registering under the government?

Quote author=TonyeBarcanista post=93100486]Those against CAMA Amendment are either ill-informed or mischievous.

In sane societies like USA, South Africa, UK, Europe, Australia etc, there are agencies that regulate religious organisations, CSOs and NGOs. Why should Nigeria's be different?

Some people said it is a fight against the church, and I ask, which Church?

If the Bible is right, the Church is the congregation of believers. It is not a building or religious organisation. And believers don't need any formal nomenclature or organisation to worship. The Bible says where two or three are gathered, CHRIST is present. The Bible never said people should establish organisations, neither did the early Christians establish organisations.

Now let's look this....

A man wakes up on a faithful morning, he approaches CAC (Government) to register his organisation, which he names XYZ Church

He lists himself, his wife, Kids or associates as Trustees

He gets certificate from the government to operate...

Yet, he argues with the government that they have no right to regulate the activities of the same organisation that he went to government to register.

He shouts persecution, war against the church and God.

Meanwhile, he is the final authority and CEO in the religious organisation, and won't hesitate to show the exit door to anyone that questions his authority.

The irony is that he abides to similar laws abroad...

As much as I'm not a fan of this administration, I support this CAMA... Although Nigeria politicians are useless

FACT:

FG or any other government cannot regulate the "Church" (congregation of believers). Even the Roman government couldn't regulate the Church.

However, government can only regulate religious organisations (formal organizations) that are registered with the government in line with the constitutional mandate.

The rule is simple, don't register your organisation with government if you don't want to be regulated... Same way you don't register your business and NGO with government if you don't want their regulation...

I been think sey na until you don marry before she supposed live with you.... Abi nor be so e supposed be?

It's good. Your family first. When you're in trouble that's when you come to value your own family. Wife fit run, husband fit run but your family will have your back. I am not saying you shouldn't build your own family so you can rely on your wife or husband o.

In this case, If what you're saying is the truth, then this your wife to be is just being wicked.

I have this habit of strolling away from toxic relationships. I keep on warning you till I stroll away. I don't beat women, I walk away and never return. I'm a quiet and happy person, I don't need anything to spoil my mood. How many years person wan live on earth to go woman stress?

But trust me, there are marriages made in heaven. If you see that person you go know if you're not carried away by looks on either party.

Next time, careful, tell her to leave your house instead of you beating her. What if she dies in the process of you beating her?

First and Foremost, this isnt about Islam.

We are have yourubas and other tribes who are Muslims and they don't behave uncouth like this.

I read all and I am boiling down in my spirit.

Check the roads now, majority of them are bikers and they drive carelessly with no regards for lives. These are what you can't do in their regions.
The kind of mentality they have is so appalling.
They can do and undo without anybody holding them. That was how they killed one guy in my area then with their small dagger.

Illiteracy is one of the factors disturbing them.

I saw a Maruwa tumbled because of one them some weeks back and yet he was insisting he wasn't at fault which was so glaring he was trying to double cross.

We are in perilous time in this country. We just need to be extra careful, notwithstanding the educated ones among them are better.

God bless Nigeria and the good people of Nigeria

What exactly should be encouraged ?

Preying on young desperately poor women ? Using human beings as incubators for babies and thereafter discarding them ? Putting women through all the risks and dangers of pregnancy without the corresponding benefits ? Being a middle man for a borderline shady practice ?
This practice is exploitative and immoral. It is on par with sex change operations and organ harvesting. People have had fertility issues since the dawn of time and they did not die. The world did not come to an end.

If you cannot have a baby, adopt one.

You are right. Happened to my sister in law. Now she is no more. May God give them wisdom to lead people in the right way Amen.
EVILFOREST:
MOST LADIES that are like this today suffered so because most PASTORS discouraged them from having their SURGERIES at an early safe age.
FIBROIDS grow well especially when the LADY is not married.
And when these ladies eventually get married they find it difficult conceiving because of these factors and atretic ovaries.
This HUGE FIRBOID May have lasted 7years.
And most LADIES with such are always trying to bear kids, so when they visit these FAKE and UNENLIGHTENED PASTORS, they end being discouraged and warned not to have such surgical operation. They administer serial financial sapping prayers for a long time with the hope that these tumors will regress one day, but trust me, these FIBROIDS keep growing to assume this massive size.

Thanks to these FAKE PASTORS
I wish such pastors would be allowed into the operating theatres to see and qualify the damage they have done to these LADIES and their FAMILIES...

Don’t say I hate pastors.
I detest the fake and unenlightened eediots parading themselves as pastors.
They have done more HARM than Good.
And they will do more of not curtailed.

safarigirl:
the funny thing is that the cast of Genevieve's movie is made up of the same actors who are in the Nollywood movies brother June refuses to watch

Is it Pete Edochie, KOK, Nkem Owoh? All these people are prominent actors in Nollywood, the Nollywood Kunle does not watch. For all his top rated movies filled with actors who are more interested in speaking English than relaying emotions of characters, none have gone international. Genevieve shot a movie using a cast that Kunle would NEVER put together, with a story line that is too 'basic' for Kunle, and she got international recognition.

Genevieve made a movie with the old Nollywood and packaged it so well, Netflix bought the movie. It is not filled with intrigue like October 1st, it is not a mystery or suspense like the CEO.....it is just your good old family comedy with a little drama. Simple in its plot and humble on its cast. There was nothing extra about it.

Kunle should learn from such humility. You cannot achieve a thing when you only seek to copy other people's styles. You cannot be a Nollywood producer and be looking at Hollywood. Hollywood has their own story, stop trying to copy someone else and try to be unique. When Kunle realises that, maybe Netflix will buy something from him
God bless you

As far as I'm concerned I will prefere to watch kunle Afolayan's movie once in a year than watch our Nollywood crap filled with Olosho everyday.

You guys should be humble enough and learn from his style of making movies, maybe from there we would have some good movies around.

The Top 10 Cities With The Most Internet Fraudsters “yahoo Yahoo” In Nigeria

Written by Thatyorubdude

Yahoo Yahoo Boys as they are referred to as in Nigeria are Internet Fraudsters and scammers who obtain money from unsuspecting victims under false pretense

In Nigeria today, The population of Yahoo Boys is way higher than that of the Graduates. Everybody is striving to reap where they did not sow. The frustration that goes through the mind of Salary Earners when they see this Fraudsters is quite disheartening.

The Scammers are on the Increase everyday by day.

Below are the top cities where you can find most of these con men in Nigeria.

10.Abuja
Yes, their are a good number of internet fraudsters in Abuja, a city known to be controlled by political money bags. These fraudsters who are seen as Abuja big boys by virtue of the fact that they are relatives of some big politicians or claim to work in one government ministry or the other, actually use those as a cover for their illegal activities.

9.Abeokuta, Ogun State
This is a town with a growing number of youth interest in online scam. These young men sometime in 2014 hacked into an Ogun state owned account and stole millions of Naira. This could anyway be attributed to poor security system with the bank in question.

8.Kaduna, Kaduna State
Kaduna is another town with a growing number of yahoo boys. There has even been reports of attempts to steal the identity of the new Governor Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai.

7.Awka, Anambra State
The scammers here who are majorly undergraduate students appears to have been gradually deserting the town as security operative had busted them many times in the past and had continued to be on their trail.

6.Enugu, Enugu State
Enugu is a place where yahoo boys are growing in their number as the city has quiet estates and accommodations where these young men hide away to carry out their illegal jobs without easily getting noticed.

5.Owerri, Imo State
A large number of Yahoo boys can be found in Owerri. They are well known in major hotel within the city where they go to squander their money on women. They also ride flashy cars around the city with people usually hailing them.

4.Warri, Delta State
Internet scam is so popular among the youths in Warri, Asaba, and other major towns in Delta state that they even impersonate their state governor without fear.

3.Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Port Harcourt is a place where internet scam is fast becoming a hobby. You will hardly see a young boy who doesn’t know someone involved in this ugly activity. Even with the increase in the number of people captured by the EFCC there, they appear not to be perturbed.

2.Benin City, Edo State
Benin is a known hotspot for the so-called Yahoo guys. Young boys of different age groups here engaged in online dating of foreigners particularly widows. They use different pseudo names and pictures to deceive their prospective victims. They also believe in charm helping them to hit their “maga” easily.

1.Lagos

Lagos is the headquarters of Internet Fraudsters in Nigeria. Virtually every corner of Lagos, from Lekki to the mainlands, has these con men who refer to themselves as “Gee Boys” meaning guys with swags and knows what’s up. The biggest amongst them own houses and live very expensive lifestyles in Lagos.

What do you think guys?

Which City in Nigeria do you think is missing on this List?

For Me => Osogbo is also loaded with Yahoo boys but did not make this list because their number is low compare to that of the Other Top 10 Cities listed above.

What is the ideal or appropriate or "okay" age for a child (toddler) to be registered in school?

Say, Daycare, Toddler class, creche, as the case may be.
The earlier kids start school the better. It helps them develop fast in different aspects of their lives.
