Yes that true... Well, I'm inclined to agree with you that during Rozay's time, they frustrated the hell out of her with false accusation just to discourage her from striving towards emerging the winner. Of course, the contest was characterized by hatred, enmity and backbiting.

To the guys" edition of 2014, I would say that it was peaceful and credible as there were active moderators (Ishilove, Pasqual09 and Farano) who wouldn't allow you litter the scetion with irrelevant threads apart from the thread designated for campaigns.

Fast forward to 2016, the moderators seems to be dormant and inactive which has turned the Romance section to a place where horror, joblessness and hatred are shamelessly unleashed

1. The First finishers; they are always the first to finish; maybe they are just very fast or it’s just to show they are brilliant or better still, who knows maybe they’ve seen expo.

2.The Dependants; this category of people are the type who come to the exam hall empty headed. They just come to copy. These ones can set formation for Africa, they mostly rely on others and always sit at the back of the exam hall.

3. The ‘SUs’; you guys are friends before exam o, in fact you have read and done discussions together but once the exam starts, you become temporary enemies. Dem no sabi you again.

4. The Giraffes; these ones tend to have very long necks and sharp eyes. They are very good at piping and spying and yeah they never get caught.

5.Selfish ones; these set of people will never be willing to give out a little of what is in their brain, they are always adding to theirs. They turn deaf ears to whispers.

6. The Magicians; believe it or not, these type of people come to exam halls with what they believe to be magic handkerchiefs/pens. You see them cleaning their face every minute. Some of them can be very superstitious; they have a particular hairstyle for exam periods.

7. The Pretenders; they dress like ‘SU’ and pray for like 30 minutes before they start writing only for them to bring out expo from very dangerous areas of their body during the exam.

8. Extra Sheet Lord; they can collect extra sheet for Africa!!. They will collect lots of extra sheets and make you look like an olodo. Funny thing is most of this kind of people fail the exams.

9. The Notorious; this guy doesn’t read shit, when they open the question paper and they don’t understand, you will hear stuffs like ‘e no go better for this lecturer’. This kind of people can cause problems for you if you don’t teach or help them. They can cause commotion in the exam hall.
10. The Intelligent people; these ones are known to come into the exam halls well prepared. Most of them help others when they can but don’t just overdo it. They mostly don’t finish on time and complain about the timing of exam, just wait for result to come out and you’ll see them getting ‘As’. Abeg if they kon finish nko?

11. The Cram King/Queen; these ones have crammed the whole handout and they suddenly become very gentle before exams, you see them reciting or hitting their head during exams trying to remember. Some are actually very good at it that you don’t even notice.

12. The Sleepers; these ones after seeing the exam paper chew the cover of their pen for a while and then put their head on the table and sleep, some of them wake up after some minutes and start writing like they’ve seen the answers in their dreams, while some others find a way around to copy.

13.The Disturbia; these ones come to the exam hall to disturb. They may be chewing gum, singing or constantly asking you for answers. They usually seem clueless, you tell them something and they still ask you to explain or spell it.

For allegedly raping his three daughters, a 48-year-old man, Micheal Ogbar, on Tuesday appeared before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.


The Chief Magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, refused to hear his plea and remanded him in kirikiri prisons.
Elias said the court had no jurisdiction over the case and therefore transferred the matter to Apapa Magistrates’ Court.


The accused, who lives at Oke-Ogba Street, Badagry, a suburb of Lagos, is facing two counts of defilement and rape.
The Prosecutor, Sgt. Rafael Donny, told the court that the offences were committed between January and May at the accused’s residence.


Donny said that the accused raped his two daughters and defiled the third daughter.
“The accused sexually abused his 24, 20 and 10 year-old daughters,” he said.

The offences contravened sections 137 and 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

I don't know what is wrong with we youth of nowadays, is it a must to you use an iPhone? To the extent that you have to disgrace yourself by stealing one.
People like this are always the first to rain curses on government officials who loot funds.

An incident occurred this week where a young lady who is also a student from Uniosun Okuku Campus was accused of stealing an IPhone 5s.
It all started two weeks during the faculty cultural day program where a member of the Ekiti state students association lost her phone (iPhone 5s) at the event and all effort to find the phone was futile, it was untraceable.
But later that week, some students who where on the lookout saw the phone with this lady and informed the owner that a lady was flaunting the missing phone around. Ghen-ghen.

On Saturday 18th June 2016, she was again seen with the phone, immediately a call was put through to the owner, who came immediately to the ladies hostel to confront the accused. Come and see drama.
The girl denied and stood her ground that she didn't steal nothing. She claimed she's richer than to be stealing an iPhone. Of course, she claims to be a big girl, she form die and she doesn't talk to a lot around.
She even pulled out her sanitary pad in public to prove that there was nothing she was hiding down there. Damn.
If you were there when she was denying, you'll almost be certain that she was accused wrongly.
When the issue was turning to a seasonal movie and getting too hot, the landlord of the hostel called the police.

The case was taken to the police station where the accused was again asked if she own any iPhone, she denied any connections with the phone.

But then her apartment was searched , and an iPhone 5s charger was found in her potty. She still took her stand that all accusations brought forward where lies. (OK, so what is an iPhone charger doing in an unusual place in your room? Ehn? Big girl)

She claimed she is a big girl whose fiance works as a manager in NNPC Abuja and her Mom was dead. Ah!
SHOCKINGLY her Mom showed up form Osogbo to the police station to bail her. Lobatan.

We all thought the matter was cooling off but then reports circulated yesterday that she came up to confess that she stole the phone and was sorry. *hands on head*. This happened after she was threatened that the case would be taken to the school senate and she might be rusticated.

To tell you my church mind I was highly disappointed that this self acclaimed big girl had to steal.
I mean tell your boyfriend who is a Manager at NNPC to buy you iPhone na. (oh maybe it's NNPC filling station)

A 38-year-old trader, Mrs. Caroline Akanwa, has been arrested by the Area C Police Command, Lagos State, for allegedly battering her niece, Chioma Uneneme.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Akanwa had in 2015 brought the 10-year-old from Okofia, Anambra State, to the Iponri Police Barracks, where she lived with her police husband and two children.



Our correspondent was told that the suspect, however, always flogged Uneneme for every offence till her back was marred with sores.The victim was said to have assisted with the house chores, as well as the management of Akanwa’s recharge cards business.

On one of such occasions, the victim was said to have been battered for allegedly selling a recharge card of N1,000 for N970.
Uneneme’s teacher at St. Paul Primary School, Iponri, who discovered the scars, reportedly took her to a hospital for treatment.

The hospital management, however, insisted on a police extract before going ahead with the treatment.
The school was said to have written a petition to the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender on the matter.

Officials of the OPD and policewomen from the Area C Police Command were said to have gone to the barracks to arrest Akanwa.
In her statement at the OPD, the suspect allegedly confessed to the crime, saying she never meant to inflict injuries on her niece.

She said, “Chioma (Uneneme) is my niece. I brought her to Lagos last year and she has been staying with me. I never intended to inflict injuries on her.

“Some time ago, a customer came to buy a N1,000 recharge card. She sold it for N970 after the person said he did not have the balance. I spanked her for it.

“The latest happened on June 7. My husband and I were not in the house. Somebody came and said my husband’s car was blocking his and he could not move out.

“She gave the person my husband’s car key and the man bashed my husband’s car while trying to move it. When I returned and saw what had happened, I beat her. Aside these, she steals from me. I beat her like I beat my children.”
The Director of the OPD, Mrs. Omotola Rotimi, told PUNCH Metro that the case was reported by the management of St. Paul Primary School, Iponri.

Rotimi, who spoke through the Public Relations Officer of the agency, Adeoba Adeniji-Adele, said the victim’s class teacher discovered the scars on her back and took her to the hospital.

She said, “But the hospital management asked for a police extract. The school then decided to write a petition to us. We immediately waded in and reported at the Area C Police Command. Some of our officials and the police went to the barracks to get her arrested.
“The initial scars she got from the beating had not healed, yet she decided to inflict more injuries on her. She used her hand, cane, stick and other objects to beat her. People must learn to control their anger.

“We have taken custody of the child and she is now in one of our transit homes.
“The suspect has two children, including a baby of about six months.”
Rotimi said cases of child brutality should not be shielded.


PUNCH Metro learnt that Akanwa was arraigned on Friday in a family court in Surulere and pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault levelled against her by the police.

She was said to have been admitted to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
“The magistrate said one of the sureties must be a blood relation and the second, a civil servant of level 12 and above. One must also have a landed property in Lagos and the property should be verified by the Lagos State Government. The sum of N50,000 is to be paid to the account of the Auditor General of Lagos State. She was remanded in prison custody pending when she would meet the bail conditions,” a source said.

It was around 7:40 pm on Wednesday evening, some students noticed a very long shining object crawling towards a hole. *hoops*

Boys ran like girls into their rooms, you need to see people, someone almost called the police. Hehe.

But thanks to the able men and a bike man who was at the hostel when the king cobra was in action. Luckily the bike man and other guys where skilled at killing snakes. The snake was killed and the head was cutoff from its body.

We all have to be very careful at this time, because snakes are coming out of their hidings to get a place to warm up. So please cut the bushes around our hostels and be careful at night.
