This is a good development, if only other governors would tow same line instead of stealing monies meant for the people. |
Mtn 2002 and no welcome back pack |
Any certificate with a seal shouldn't be laminated because the seal is destroyed and can not be scanned if you intend travelling abroad and using it. |
I thank God for his mercies too. No need to be scared, attend your ante natals, use a good clinic, have a good dr, eat right and hand over everything to your creator who is the overall dr. If you're hypertensive take your drugs religiously and always see your dr and don't take any observation for granted because that was what saved me because i noticed the overnight weight gain and swellings and went to my dr. It is well, all pregnant women will deliver safely and train their children themselves. |
My 1st baby was a long awaited one because she came after 6yrs of marriage. We were very watchful and careful, moreover i am hypertensive. All was ok but when i got to the ending stage of my second trimester my bp started increasing . My bp drugs were increased too, total bedrest was mandated but all to no avail. I started gaining extra weight overnight which was a bad sign, my face and fingers become swollen which were signs of pre eclampsia. I was admitted in the hospital immediately to be monitored, at 32wks and some days my heart almost stopped beating cos the pressure was too much for it. My mum just came around to see me that fateful tuesday midmorning, when i said i wanted to wee. After doing my business i almost slumped if not for her, i couldn't breathe again. Doctors and nurses were running helter shelter, oxygen and all emergency resusitation techniques were carried out and i was stabilized. An ultra scan was done and the dr said the baby's heart beat had dropped and so an emergency cs had to be done to give baby and i opportunity to fight for our lives. Hubby was called, papers were signed, other drs had to be invited and my family members were everywhere. Finally, in the evening i was wheeled into the theatre, my little girl was brought out prematurely minutes after, very small and frail looking. She was rushed to the incubator where pipes and lines were attached to her tiny body to save her life. I was wheeled out an hour later, couldn't see my baby for about 3 days when i finally did, i couldn't hold back the tears of joy. She had jaundice but the almighty saw us through it all, we were released 2wks later with much pressure cos the bill was skyrocketing. Anyway, that frail little girl is 3+ and a warrior. The 2nd journey is story for another day. |
U can't really say untill u're faced wit d situation becos most husbands tend to bend to pressures from parents nd friends. Only a few resist nd wait on God after tests to ascertain their fitness. We waited 6yrs b4 we were blessd wit one but our parents nd friends supported us so it was bearable to a point. |
Wat people do for beauty but in this case, she ended up looking like some catoon character. I wonder who will find this shape attractive, she looks weird instead. |
Its so touching, i'm really sorry. How were u able to cope with the loss cos you enjoyed him for some years? For me, i can't seem to stop this pain and emotions whenever i remember my little hearthrob whom i lost 4 days after delivery. ( I'm sobbing right now), my handsome boy just went like that after watching him pass through pains i couldn't stop. Jaundice got to his brain despite been under the phototherapy light . He could have been 1yr by july. I know how i fight not to be depressed, so meeting you and hearing you out has encouraged me. Its not a situation one should even wish one's enemy. It is well. |
sweetcheecks: Nigerians are the last to complain about mob justice. Your people strip people naked and put phones in thier vijays for stealing a phone, not even for serious crimes like drugs. You attack and strip men and women for being gays. The Alu 4 do not ring a bell? So before you take the high route please get off your high horse.get off ur high horse, mob killings shoudn't be encouraged no matter d circumstances that is my point. I'm not in support of mob action in any part of the world. I still maintain dat ur police shud get the guilty ones and prosecute them, instead of leaving justice in d hands of the masses. |
It is well. U just made me remember my own travails then, it took 6yrs b4 this dream came true for us but 2day we have our joy complete. Don't be dismayed God is faithful, u will share ur joy soon. |
It is not the most pressing issue in naija now. We have corruption eating into all activities and they're here wasting their time on trivalities. They're wasting the resources spent on them. (sighs) |
sweetcheecks: Our police do not stay with these criminals the communities do and our police and court systems are stretched to the brim. Unless we have to employ 500k more police to be all over at once. The money come from tax payers even taking the culprits ro jail is costly. They must just stop or whether we like or not will face the furry of the masses. That is out of our hands or our keyboards.does it then mean that the mob style is always used to correct issues cos that gives a negative image outside. It shows that the country is primitive and lawless. For the police to be stretched this much that they can't tak kia of such issues then i wonder wat d crime rate is. There is no xcuse for such actions, it is wrong ok! |
lacasa: Well done.don't u fink dat d police shud be allowed to do their duty, not civilians takin laws into their hands becos innocent ones can be affected. Moreova, looting their properties does it not stink of jealousy? Let d police sit up and get d bad eggs or is it an impossibility afterall its not naija. |
Dis oyibo people sef, old person no be old person, young person nko, na dem worse pass. I no blame dem sha becos dem no get problem. |
Always remember that you are in another man's country. They worked to bring it up to the developed state it is and you are enjoying it. So, don't expect angels to transform naija overnite, it needs its citizens' support. So, stay where you are and let those who have the fighting spirit fight it out. We'l get there sometime. Home is home. |
