⚡🇿🇲 Zambia's president issues warning to coup plotters

Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema has warned potential coup plotters not to threaten the southern African nation’s democratic rule and stability.

It is not clear why he sounded the warning, but it comes in the aftermath of several recent coups in Francophone Africa and complaints at home about the rising cost of living.

"To colleagues that think, we are timid by being kind and that they can break the laws and entertain thoughts of illegal takeover of government including undemocratic coup d'état we are coming for you," he said.

He acknowledged food prices were high and said the government was addressing the issue.
Not until they actually strike if they want to.

Be making mouth there like you've more than one life.

Nigeria needs to do this, we need to change our name to fit our identity. Our current is an insult.
Nigeria= meaning "NIGGER AREA" = SLAVE AREA. How could we hold on to this for so long
We first need to do away with this useless system of government that has destroyed us further.

As simple as that. Rev Fathers are not married but they conduct wedding ceremonies and also give marital counseling.
Most go through marriage counseling school/class, it's not just about being a pastor or father.

A single man or woman can give marriage counseling if he or she is trained.

Single friends can do too but not to the degree of those above or married people

Apostle paul the greatest prophet with significant counseling on marital affairs wasn't married. Wisdom to counsel is a divine gift not marriage-base
Paul was never an authority on the issue of marriage.

@ The topic, wawuu I just googled the story to verify the authenticity of it and it's true. This is so sad!

@ Kobojunkie.......you are unbelievable! I have seen you link practically every vice and every situation on this forum to mental health issues. Everything from alcohol to gambling addictions, severe introversion to uncertainty about pregnancy and a man, one female user in particular shared.

Now someone else says the same thing you are famous for by linking Hassan's depression and the murder of his wife to mental health issues and you suddenly have a problem with it. Take a stand already Kobo and don't be all over the place with this mental health mantra/wave. I don't see why it's okay for you to label every issue as a mental health problem then scream blue murder when someone else does.
She's got issues with men
And she's also going through depression.

Currently living a sadist life.

USA sanctions failed in iran and to their displeasure iran made drones is striking in Europe and making name globally.

This is a message to Africa, look inward don't be afraid of sanctions. say no to their foreign aid, They west are afraid of what a united Africa can do. Democracy is a Western controlled propaganda i don't believe it's for Africa
You need to first know who you are before thinking of going against those who named and caged you.

Not a biblical name but a hebrew/jewish/Assyria etc... name.

Bible doesn't generate names.

First they hit Croatia with drone then it’s Hungry then it’s Poland and now they are claiming Romania have been hit by Russia drone.
If Russia drones hit Romania, nothing will happen because as far as USA is concerned, USA will only respond if Russia drones hit USA mainland but the rest NATO members? USA will just say it’s a mistake that Russia drones hit them, and those NATO members need to buy advanced USA defence systems grin grin

It happened in the second world war when Japan fought along the Germans and destroyed British warships. If not for the quick intervention from US Japan would have destroyed England and roast Winston Churchill
Japan attacked a US military installation (Pearl harbor), America in retaliation went to destroy 2 civilian occupied cities. (With atomic bombs - 1st in history of the world)

Thousands of civilians died, there's no excuse for such.

The rest of what you typed must be from your imagination.

It got nothing to do with England.

Was it Russia or the US?

Clearly a typo. They can't equate London with US and I'm sure Russia never mentioned this. A nuke can wipe out a city as they correctly stated but can't wipe out a country
Ghana is a country but very small.
Uk and france are also very small

Texas is almost 2 times bigger than Nigeria, yet Nigeria is a country.

There are many countries Texas is bigger than.

So if Sarmat can destroy a state as big as Texas, do the math.

Mention any system of government that's perfect or that have no weaknesses. Infact mention anything on this planet earth that's perfect. Nothing is perfect, from the stone ages human being hav always try to improve what they hav got, be it technology or system of governing ourselves. Same is for Democracy, every country is constantly tweaking it to fit their culture, and it's a continuous process till u get it right.

Which system of government would you rather have us use. Military, sharia or monarchy
So why force one imperfect system of government on people?

The fact that you're even trying to force democracy on people makes democracy a facade in the first place.

There are more than 12 different forms of government, even customised ones (mixture of various forms).

People should be allowed to choose whichever one fits their norms, culture and tradition

Finish!

The French failed in those countries not Democracy. Have u asked Urself why coup is happening only in francophone countries. Their Democracy is weak because France still control their leaders, even though they claim to be a Democratic nation their president is autocratic, spend decades in power without ceding, no press freedom etc. So coup is always bound to happen sooner or later. This cannot happen In Ghana or Nigeria that has more flexible Democracy.
Tell me if 'English-Speaking' part of the continent is actually better off.

Remember that wjen you're talking about French speaking part of the continent, it includes Algeria, Morocco and co.

Now do you actually believe there's democracy anywhere in the world?

It's a facade, you're only allowed to choose from what they decide to present as choices and can also decide to give you what they decide for themselves even after you have voted from the choices they presented to you in the first place.

In so called America. No woman has ever ruled and only 2 parties have produced their presidents in over 210 years.

The democracy you're used to can be termed as a mother cooking rice and beans, then asking you to choose from the 2 because she planned this from the start and you weren't part of the decision, whereas there are more than 50 food options you could have choosen from.

Is this truly democracy?
