He was born on 23rd July 1969 in Am­anator Ozuakoli Urualla in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, to the family of late Chief and Mrs. Alexander Emenike. Young Chika had his early edu­cation in Urualla and Nnewi in the 1980s.
He started his trading business over twenty years ago under the name Chitec Motors Nig. Ltd. His passion for business growth led to the emergence of Kotec Group of Companies Limited, incorpo­rated in 2001 as a holding company. Kotec Group of Companies Limited has several successful subsidiaries.

In recognition of his positive contribu­tions to the society, Chief Chika Emenike has received so many awards and titles both within and outside the country. His hobbies include: Jogging, reading the word of God and relaxing with friends.
He is happily married to the love of his life, Lolo Prisca Emenike and the marriage is blessed with children.

Chidinma Iheme holds a Bachelor of Laws (B.L.) Degree from the University of Lagos Akoka, graduating in 1983. She was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1984.
