Your irrelevant rubbish doesn't change the fact that your ipob states collectively own N257 billion with nothing to show. Shouldn't this be your primary headache. ?
I hope you know that Osun state, Ogun, ondo ekiti and Oyo are all indebted to Anambra state?
Maybe it time to place your states on olx.
Ladies and gentlemen. Anambra state under peter obi, invested millions of dollars in bond market, these bonds were sourced by most States in Nigeria, thereby making southwest states ,except lagos indebted to Anambra state.
Fear fear cowards ,Igbo people do not have that type of agenda. Pray tell they have and want to achieve it... You can not stop them! At the moment we have bigger issues to challenge than to engage in filthy orderless jungle like Lagos. You can only have Igbo people born in Lagos, forcing themselves to be Igbo...
Michael004: Your parents are blatant lair, and I can say it to their faces. Are your parent trying to say only 20pounds was given to your entire village. You parents must be a pathetic lair. Everyone knows 20ponds was given to individuals then. Stop spewing lies here.
Your parents are the liars here, I can say it to their face! You low life think you have opinion on everything. Curse be upon you!
You distort history with that kind of fictitious narrative.
Yes it was a bad war but why must everything be lies.
Your people din not suffer abandon property in Lagos. Many got their property back. Some got their rent collected and delivered to them intact. They were welcomed back into Lagos with open arms. The truth is Yorubas could have been hostile and uncooperative especially in Lagos. They were not. Igbos did not lose everything that is just fiction. Why must you tell all these lies. I don't know how old you were at the end of the war. Awo put in a lot of money into ACB. A man called Ukpabi Asika was given a lot of resources too .The other thing to bear in mind is Yoruba men typically are not traders and so the trading sector was open with little competition for those into trading. Those that were teachers got jobs all over the SW.
That £20 that you try to make look small was when a loaf of bread was 1 penny Do you know there was NOTHING like a £20 note The HIGHEST NOTE WAS £5 In today's terms it is 200000 .It is not a lot but for goverment to pay it out after a war is not easy.
What has government done for IDPs in the NE?
You are insulting our intelligence with this nonsense. My last post on this is, people lodged money into banks with hope of getting the equivalent, but was given a paltry of 20 pounds. My parents were victims, they told me that people contributed money across the village, but was disappointed when 20 pounds was given to them. Now answer me how much can 30 persons get from 20pounds? What ratio will you use to share it? What happened? My parent forsake the money to the account owner, went home empty handed ,stared from the beginning and you are here .making conjectures. Why don't you go and ask people who are truly affected about their story, instead of you coming on nairaland to incur generational curses!
It shall never be well with Nigeria and all their supports against the people of Biafra. My parents, their relatives nuclear and extended, gathered all their money and gave one man, who owns a bank account came back with only 20 pounds. And you're here saying rubbish. Fg did not give everyone money. They gathered money and put them into an account, and 20 pounds would be given to the account owner. All these people do everyday is twist history to paint a favourable picture. Amadioha ga egbu unu ncha!
bakynes: One Estate in Lagos Called Abesan Estate built by Lateef Jankande (the first civilian governor of Lagos) has over a thousand high rise buildings not to talk of other parts of Lagos so forget about it Anambra cannot have more high rise than Lagos.
Not to forget the East is small so all those building are concentrated in one small space. The South East is only a few kilometres-square bigger than Oyo state alone.
Travel you will not travel. Stop typing rubbish you say no.. What is wrong with you?
JAWBONE: The only thing I like about this is the social contract part. As a matter of fact, all Nigerian politicians should be made to do something like this before they take office and it should be binding on them by LAW.
The man is very refined, if only ndi Anambra know what this man has for them.
EricIyke: LOL The way Yorubas are talking about the election as if its their land. If We don't wanna vote is it their concern? Next you'll see Labour Party mammoth crowd.
What is this one saying?
Abeg shift! We need a real change in our state. Ezeemo Godwin is the man. Enough of mediocrities.
EricIyke: Same paid mammoth crowd again? Why can't this people allow us to rest? PPA kwa? Yul will still come out with his own mammoth crowd again. I realised something, this guys are hustling money for NSALA soup. Politicians will pay for the soup, still waiting to see what 18th will look like. NoElection biko!
You are wrong. @lalasticalal, the cc mod please do the needful. Take this to front page.. This man is the only genuine candidate!
See, let me tell you authoritatively and an estate manager, it is easier to get a multistorey building to manage in the than any other region on Nigeria Lagos inclusive. Lagos is already saturated with uncountable estate firms struggling of the multistorey building there unlike the east where the real estate industry is fast growing. If you get a 5storey building to the firm, depending on the design of the building, it is good as bring at least 10 flats. In some cases it may be 20flats if it is 4flats in each floor.
Jide Taiwo, diya fatimileyi and my firm know this and it is only in the east you will easily get such properties relatively with time. Apart from Lagos, abuja and port Harcourt, Enugu vis a vis south south/ east have the biggest property market and still growing.
That hide taiwo is very huge in Anambra state. Please don't waste your time on these ewedu eating happy lads. Did you know that each time I go to surulere to see a relation, I climb on to their 2storey building. I will be able to see far and wide. But if you are in 3storey build in obosi you won't see beyong 100ms. Don't give them any reason to be stupid. They always talk about Lagos.
BrokenTV: That road has been like that close to 1 year, but got only worse within the last few months. Commuters are suffering in trying to navigate that area.
I used to be peter obi fan. But the truth be say Joe martins uzodike the peter obi aid, actually requested for the repayment of 7billion naira used in campaigning for his election.. Obiano is also useless. But believe me, peter obi is no saint. The useless man he is fronting is just a puppet.
mrphysics: I don't know why you have to mention me. Where I am today, I did because I struggled to get there, I don't wait for a government to spoon feed me or anything. If Igbos are marginalized, why didn't you hold your senators responsible, your governors, you are with your enemies but the first line of attack is the federal government. Bro, I write on fiverr, I have a work, I earn my salary not from any Nigerian government.
Secondly, I hate politics, and I hate how politicians are going about it. Everyone except you believes Kanu went about it the wrong way.
You forgot how you insulted me the last time I thought you were reasonable enough to engage on a discussion? You forgot the stupid things that got you banned you did? If this is the kind of Biafra IPOB is leading us to, then I won't pray for it to come. Since I can't be in the minority that will have a different opinion and still lives in peace.
I think its good to mind your business and forget about politics. Everyday i come to nairaland, I am in the business section not romance section. I would appreciate not being mentioned again. I respect your opinion, kindly respect mine
I wrote long epistle to reply you, but I just deleted them I want to tell you that I'm sorry for hurting you. I hate to see fellow nwafor hurt. I would like to have one on one chat with you. To show how deeply sorry I am.
And nobody is talking about how they are pioneering their own independent! Igbo people love freedom so much. They made it in Haiti, America. They will achieve it in Nigeria and Bioko. Wait so this panya that I used to hear is real? Even bracket the music group have it in their song. I hear panya every now and then but I don't know the origin. Now its clearer.
Most of the drugs abused by the northerners are mostly nonconventional drugs, but they won't bother talk about it, rather their focus is pharmaceutical stores that sells only 10 percent number of the drugs they abuse. Aside tramadol and codine, what other drugs do they buy from over the counter? But there are many local drugs and misapplied products like gums, formalin. But they are releasing press statement. OK time to ban cattle meat! We will do it...
BabaRamota1980: You have lost your mind. Even though your submission here is false, it should be pointed out that Yorubas frown at all sorts of unholy income. We do not carry proudly any badge of dishonor. Unlike yanminri that bastardize his bloodline and put monetary gain above family values, Yoruba is reluctatant to tarnish family name. Anything criminal and despicable you can trust if everybody disowns it someone will take ownership and that someone is always in all cases a yanminri. You are such a notorious criminal to the point when Hausa/Fulani backed away from Dasuki for embezzling the treasury your people carried banner and rallied in Abuja asking government to free Dasuki. When Yorubas backed away from Obanikoro your people carried banner and adopted his cause. If crime can identify with a ethnicity it will be ndIgbo.
[/s] Yes like the way you adopted tinubu and buruji kashamu. ? Lol at Yoruba defending the image their families. These skull mining people will never stop at nothing If do not know Yoruba people I would believe the crap you wrote there.
Before any crime take place in south Africa, the locals must be involved, singling out foreigners and killing them is hateful. Most often many police around the world can be very overzealous even here in the country. They always have a way of detaining or even killing innocent civilians. We can not conclude that the arrested should be guilty of the crime because of where he comes from.
tsdarkside: look,,,you are looking at this matter too tribal...for me,a criminal is a criminal no matter what tribe....
OK fine, we should speak out on ill treatment on Nigerian overseas. Many country men commit numerous atrocities here in Nigeria, from Lebanese to Chinese to Indian to south Africa to USA. How many of them have been killed? Or linked to a tribe in their country? How did Thailand police know about Igbo tribe in Nigeria? Do you know any tribe in China? Especially those criminals that are stealing oil at the creeks? Do you know the level of fraud committed by Lebanese Indian and south Africa in Nigeria. But Nigerians don't treat them with disdain or accuse them of being their source ofproblem. We always blame our government, and rightfully so. But in south Africa, they accuse other africans and Nigeria as being their problem, they come to take their jobs, that their youths are useless because of Africans migrants forgetting that whites, Indians are also in south Africa.
why are they not useless too? Why is that they find it easy to blame people for their problem?
Nature abhor vacuum, if Africans and Nigeria leave south Africa today, another level of crime will surface. That's a fact. They have a fundamental problem, instead of them tackling it, they are blaming people. They kill black Africans on the street of jbourg, but destroy only the white man statues.
tsdarkside: that is a fact..its alot of money.....now what??..you want us to start defending drug dealers....??
I want you to shove the blame in your black assss. Because, every society has their own flaws, don't you come and tell me we do drugs whereas you master the frauds. I have once said that drug is one of the ills that our people learnt from Yoruba. We knew nothing about drugs before early 2000s, and we came in and flooded our brothers into it, very typical of Igbo people. It will gradually die off, just like kidnapping.
afroniger: I understand where you are coming from, even though I don't support drug trafficking in any ramification, but I am not amongst those that mock igbo victims in South Africa because in the end their police don't give a damn about the tribe of their victims. I once advised Nigerians on a thread to get the hell out of that racist country when some wanted to protect themselves from mobs. I blame Nigerian government for abandoning their citizens in that country.
That is it my brother, the recent event that happened was a Hausa man, he was killed by SA police, but Igbo people rally round together to see through it. But during our own case they would rather mock us. And mind you there series of such cases in south Africa, but you known this one because Igbo people involved made it public. Don't you ever think Yoruba,Hausa and other tribesmen are not being killed overseas
