Their sense of entitlement is mind boggling. Even the way he was accusing Tiv farmers of procreating and taking lands within their territory for farming is so annoying. The worst mistake anyone can do is to give this barbarians grazing route because they will claim it within 5 years as their ancestral lands! |

Caseless: be hopeful, bro. Every failure or adversity presents equivalent success. Personally, I'm not feeling the adverse effect of the recession at all because I saw the signs early and made drastic changes to my life including diversifying my income base and leaving below my means but the problem is that economy has affected so many people and lots of my friends and family members who are desperately in need will certainly come for help and you cant say no except you have the heart of stone and invariably what would have been sitting pretty in T Bills will be lost as bail out. I'm really affraid for what the country is turning out. |

Well, you made me laugh with your post and sometimes I dont feel pity for my country men and women for the woes that have befallen them because everyone contributed to this mess and why will they want to jump ship now that Nigeria is sinking? That's unfair, they all should be deported ASAP. People are still saying sai baba till 2023 and you want to pity such people when the repercussions hits them hard? |

A quick look at recent history will tell u that their sympathy means nothing especially when they know the people in question being exterminated have been a thorn in their backside(the exclusive criminal activities of Ipobs overseas). Iraq that was invaded on the pretext of their leader possessing weapons of mass destruction and the subsequent admission by top US and UK figures about the knowledge that the weapons were nonexistent are till date yet to receive an apology from the international community..The rhetoric is "the world is a better place without Saddam." So expect the same line "the world is better off without the Eastern developers." DevDenky: the geology of Abakaliki metropolitan may not support high buildings like skyscrappers as it falls under the Asu River Group Formation. Those who are familiar with this formation will agree with me that ARG-formation around the abakaliki area is dominated with shaley rocks, which is high in clay minerals and known for it notorious swelling and shrinking in proportionality to seasonal changes, and thus may cause fatal cracking. It will require extra enormous capital to raise such building in that area, as the foundation will have to be piled at about 10-15m from subsurface to surface level, provided that resistivity and thickness is constant. I see you, fellow Geologist! |
