PoliticsRe: Here Are The Four Most Powerful Ethnic Groups In Nigeria by proeast(op): 9:58am On Sep 02, 2023
creativehubb:
Poverty index should guide in calling any nation or group 'powerful'

Resources, enlightenment of the people, pride in their culture and region, history, sustainability of the values and culture, ability to develop their region and make it thrive in peace, wealth of the region and it's people, pride in the people in their region and amount of the people living in their own region and developing it, and lastly, is the region a blessing or curse to Nigeria.

Your indices just based on numbers of people that speak the language, is a yardstick the colonial used for convenience sake, hence the tag Wazobia, because those days the colonials divided Nigeria into North, South and West, and used largest ethnic groups as yardstick to represent others...of course as a people that knows better, and knows our history and diversity better, we quickly changed it to six zones. Dwelling in that wazobia cliche is a symptom of slave mentality, and living in self denial. Powerful is not by numbers only lol... myopic topic.
Being powerful is quite different from being economically developed or ranking high on HDI.

Countries like Israel, Russia, North Korea etc are not among the most economically prosperous and neither do they rank high on the HDI but they're certainly among the most powerful nations on Earth today.

OhuDealer:
They are the ones contesting elective position in Lagos claiming one Nigeria and non existing resident status to demand equity in Lagos and across the SW.

They are the ones obsessed with SW and Lagos affairs without a care of what transpires in their ever backward state in the SE .

They have a fair better chance in opening their slave mouths to demand to be appointed or elected in civilised Lagos than they can ever dare to even dream in their cursed yeast for these are the same people who even common Ozo red cap chief title is denied them in their own village talk more of seeking political appointment or elective position.

What they can not dare aspire to in their yeast they want to achieve in Yoruba land.

Henceforth, SW Parliaments must pass laws that mandate all Ibos wanting to aspire to elective or political appointments to produce a certified and verrified copy of their actual status in their communal society that will be signed by the Eze of their village. Once the individual has been exposed as one who can not aspire to any elevated position in their village owing to their caste , that individual must be barred from holding both political appointment or elective positions in the SW.

Charity begins at home after all.
The only real slaves in Nigeria are those whose territory were conquered by others. Their tradition banned and an emir imposed to rule over them forever grin grin

Even till this day, the biggest fear of that ethnic group is Igbos leaving Nigeria. They hate Igbos but can't imagine life without them. Igbos are the only people saving them from total subjugation and slavery in the hands of Fulanis who already has a foothold in their region.

Let Igbos leave Nigeria today and see if they won't be turned to slaves within 6 months grin grin Unknown to many, that's the only reason they hate the idea of Biafra with passion.

Perennial cowards from the sadwasted skull mining region grin grin grin
PoliticsHere Are The Four Most Powerful Ethnic Groups In Nigeria by proeast(op): 9:43am On Sep 02, 2023
Hausa.
Igbo.
Fulani.
Ijaw.

These four ethnicities above are the most powerful groups in Nigeria's history as a nation. Each of these groups are so powerful that they can fight and protect their honor like the Romans of old. They don't make noise or use propaganda to hide their coward nature.

Hausas are powerful and can stand their ground any day if push comes to shove.

Igbos are so powerful and strong willed to the point they can fight like Spartans without minding the odds are against them.

Fulanis are so powerful they're actually the only ethnic group to capture an entire state/city, convert it to an emirate and rule it to this day!

The Ijaws too are so powerful they can fight back if they really mean it not minding they're a minority. They're also lucky to have a mangrove terrain that is perfect for ambush.

These four groups I listed above are the most powerful in Nigeria and each of them can easily withstand the entire country if threatened.

Honestly l don't know YORUBAS are more travelled this much than lgbos in US.
I thought they are majorly in UK.

Very impressive...
Yoruba speaking doesn't mean they're only those from Nigeria. Those from Benin are included as well. Secondly, many Igbos don't really make it a priority teaching their kids to speak Igbo until recently when awareness on it started gaining ground.

Shut up your mouth, especially when you're completely ignorant!

Did you even see the data op presented, which he used to base his argument?

You saw percentages of different ethnicities in Nigeria, including Edoid yet the region with the largest concentration of Nigeria's population wasn't represented at all.

Did anyone make noise or someone just presented a graph? Look at the dumb nitwits I'm sharing a country with. SMH.

Go to Sudan, Saudi, Somalia, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and all those Arabic countries

You'll see them there

Technically, southern people are soooo different from them

The person that merge us to form a country is very clueless

Northern states will be better off, if they merge them with Niger country

Southern states would have been better off without them also.......so it's a win win
Merging Niger with NW (without Southern Kaduna) and NE (without Taraba, Bauchi and Adamawa) would have been a perfect arrangement but no, they lumped together people from very diverse backgrounds that are strange to each other. Yet you wonder why we are having chaos.

SMH.

God bless you sir. There are even multigenerational black Palestinians who trace their origin to Northern Nigeria. Like a century ago, their ancestors moved from Nigeria to settle in Palestine in solidarity with the Palestinians and Islam. Some stayed back while some kept moving back and forth. There's an ancient trade route from northern Nigeria to the whole Northern Africa that's still active till today for moving goods to Northern Nigeria.

There's a particular popular cap Northern Africans and Arabs wear, they source it from Northern Nigeria. In fact, in one aljazeera documentary, a merchant acknowledged that they source those caps only from Northern Nigeria because that's only where the original authentic brand of that cap comes from.
There's so much ignorance most Youths in the South have about the North and it's so sad.
The North has produced a lot of best graduating students in the top southern universities more than most even know.

If you attend top Southern universities in the SW like UNILAG, UI and OAU to study the top courses like Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Maths/Statistics, Agriculture, you must have met at least one of those Northerners. They are geniuses and most are so integrated that you may not even know that they are Northerners. Some speak Yoruba very fluently and most that I know are from Kano, Kaduna and Borno.
This one don write epistle to eulogize their masters grin grin

Simple question someone asked, why don't they travel at least relative to Southerners and this one wrote a whole book without even answering the damn question. He even politicized it by mentioning Kwankwaso and how you can meet one Northerner studying medicine, Engineering and how they can be genuises grin grin A region that is the most populated in Nigeria yet he made it appear like seeing just one single Northerner in SW universities is such a huge achievement. This sort of human worship is shameful.

No wonder the situation in Illorin has become so pathetic grin grin

But, you igbos dominated us in the 1st republic simply because, the federal minister for education was Igbo , consequently, all our VCs were igbos. They in turn, recruited most of their kinsmen into our universities in Yorubaland. The common slang on the streets of Western region (at that time in question) was that, there is at least one professor in every Ekiti family. Even my ordinary Ijebu family in the mid 60's, had two England-trained law graduates, Civil Engineer and a medical doctor!

In fact, Ojukwu's missive to Banjo ( at the onset of the war) left us in no doubt as to what the former had in stock for us, albeit, he claimed he was coming to save us from the Nigerian-fulani soldiers even when we didn't explictly solicit for his "Trojan horse" aid.

He , ojukwu could not help himself ( in his letter to Banjo) as he glaringly and shamelessly salivated at the thought of administrating Yorubaland from Enugu, through a proxy such as Banjo.
Igbos believe in competence while you guys dwell in tribalism since the days of Awolowo. During that era too, a fulani man was elected by Igbos to be the mayor of Enugu, our capital.

Yes, Ojukwu knew that there was no single man left in the SW who had the guts to pull out and challenge the Hausas and Fulanis, so he tried to liberate you guys. To show you guys he had no intention of administrating Yoruba land from Enugu, he gave a Yoruba man called Banjo the command and control. He didn't even intend to administer Midwestern region that had significant number of Igbos and also shared boundary with East let alone Western region.

The same tribalism Awolowo introduced into Nigeria's politics is what Tinubu has started promoting again. No wahala, you guys can continue stewing in it until it blows up in your faces.

You can never tell Ojukwu story without mentioning Ada boko
Go and read events that happened around 1966/1967 between Eastern region led by Ojukwu and Federal government led by Gowon. Adaka boro was completely irrelevant when these things happened.

You guys elevated Awolowo to god status in your region, yet he was nothing but a shameless coward grin

Yes, Yorubas will be suffering at the hands of igbos who have always wanted to dominate everyone. That's the main grouse igbos have with Yorubas as they would rather be "slaves" in a union
of Nigerians than be slaves to igbos.
If Igbos didn't dominate minorities in the East when we were together under one government, why then will the yorubas that claim to outnumber Igbos be so afraid?

You just displayed crass ignorance, tueh!

Being eloquent has nothing to do with education. Rather, it's an act that can be learned and mastered. Go and check some pastors that speak eloquently even without attending secondary school.

If Tinubu is educated, which primary school did he attend? Secondary school nko?

He claims to have graduated from CSU yet he is fighting to prevent anyone from seeing his record! What is difficult in showing evidence, especially when one claims to be a first class Accountancy graduate?

Why do these people always lie? Could it be in the air they breath, water they drink or ewedu they eat?

Every ethnicity in Nigeria acted plays and had troupes that entertain during festivals, even before the colonialists arrived. It's not a Yoruba thing!

Nollywood became a commercial success after Igbos ventured into it. The first commercially viable movie was Living in Bondage!

Armament:
* Air defense batteries.
* Unguided Rocket systems
* Impact detonators.
* Landmines.
* Remodeled Akwa made rifles.
* Armor personnel carriers & Tanks. Gullible Africans simply stuck to names like Ogbunigwe. Call it what it is: Rocket System in its purest stage!

Refinery:
* Crude oil refining without a single EXPARTE.

Air Traffic & Logistics.
* Full Radar set up & logistics planning.

God punish all those thieves holding the Giant of Africa down because of free money! Together with their western power brokers.

Till date Nigeria can not build any of the following without Western Companies aide & complete Process Control. Was not expecting any thing better when most of the politicians are certificate forgers as opposed to great folks like late Gen Ojukwu who graduated from Oxford. No need mentioning the current usurper in Aso Rock whose certificate is still subject to credibility test.

Ojukwu & his war economy team understood Rocket propulsion systems far before 60% of European Countries did!
Due to Ojukwu's bravery, we had the opportunity of being the first Black technologically advanced country. We saw a glimpse of what an African powerful nation can look like!

The technological exploits we made then was a proof that Blacks ain't inferior to the Whites.

God bless Ojukwu for giving us the opportunity to showcase how far the Igbos can go if given the chance!

The worst thing that happened to Nigeria is APC and the drug lord called Ebola. Nigeria would have been a lot better if those two vermins didn't happen to us.

Even today, what is wrong in Nigerians demanding that CSU should come clean on whatever deals they had with Tinubu? Yet this man and his uncultured barbarians started gaslighting and blackmailing Obidients, calling them cyberbullies.

They can call Jonathan, a sitting president drunk. Call him goat and carry his effigy in a mock coffin. They called his wife shepopotamus. They threatened them with deaths yet the man allowed them to vent endlessly. Today, the same bastards that did all these reprehensible things can't even stand just 10% of it?!

I pity Nigerians that are still listening to Ebola and his barbarian hordes.
PoliticsRe: Why Ojukwu Was One Of The Greatest Africans That Lived! by proeast(op):
Ojukwu was already privileged. He was from a very wealthy family. He was the military ruler of Eastern Nigeria. But he understood what was at stake for Igbos. Our future, self preservation and dignity has become eroded. He understood the odds were against us but as a courageous man, he didn't allow that to make him give up. At this point, one Awolowo stated that if Igbos should leave Nigeria, that he would take his people out of Nigeria too. But when Ojukwu pulled out, he became morbidly afraid. He claimed that Hausa soldiers were camped in Ibadan and Abeokuta barracks. As if Hausa soldiers weren't camped in Enugu and P.H barracks until Ojukwu asked them to leave East! Anyways, cowards will always give excuses while courageous men will brave the odds. During the time of the Roman Empire, when men were men. They always fight to protect their land, their women, their children and their history! Even when they're outnumbered, men during that era will rather fight and die with honor than watch and see their people debased and taken into captivity!

Today, despite losing a war and being blackmailed and conspired against, Igbos still have their dignity and honor in tact! However, same can't be said of those that cowardly gave excuses why they can't protect their honor. Look deeply, and you will see they were given a Trojan horse which opened them to infiltration and gradual conquest.

Total respect to Odumegwu Ojukwu. The greatest Igbo man that lived!
PoliticsWhy Ojukwu Was One Of The Greatest Africans That Lived! by proeast(op):
When I see some myopic people or even enemies try to blackmail Ojukwu for his heroic deeds, I laugh!

Every Igbo man should celebrate the image, life and times of Ojukwu because he was our greatest hero of all times!

If not for Ojukwu, we would have faced serious existencial threat or even risk of being wiped out in Nigeria. I will explain:

Igbos have been targeted and killed in Nigeria dating back to the 1940's! In fact, it was a recurring threat from that period until they took it to brazen heights in 1966 when they organized pogroms that left an estimated 30,000 Igbos dead across Northern Nigeria. Remember that Ahmadu Bello, the then premier of Northern Nigeria kept promoting hate against Igbos in the North until his people eventually carried out pogrom against Igbos.

What did Ojukwu do? He demanded that federal government must protect Igbos in the North and also make reparations to those that were killed or wounded. The federal government ignored Ojukwu and worse still, refused to be decisive enough in stopping the mass attacks against Igbos.

When diplomacy failed, Ojukwu requested that Northerners living in the East should be evacuated back to their region since there was mass anger in the East over killings of their people in the North. He made that request to prevent further retaliatory attacks on them. Already, reports that some of them were now facing attacks in some Eastern cities like P.H and Enugu were beginning to emerge.

Soon, thousands of Igbo returnees suddenly returned to the East with nothing else except tales of woes. Many families had some members either killed or maimed. Others had their buildings, cars etc totally destroyed. Despite all these attrocious acts, the federal government never apprehended those that committed them. Nothing was done to assuage the feelings of Igbos and assure them they're still wanted in Nigeria.

If Ojukwu hadn't declared Biafra, of course with full support of Eastern Nigeria, we would have become complete slaves in Nigeria! No shred of dignity would have been left. It would mean that anything can be done to Igbos & nothing will happen.
