delightful1:na me ooo... Season's greetings to you. Dimple |
texanomaly:oh noooo... So your "Random Ramblings©" is now copyrighted on Nairaland.? @FrancisTony I love your scribbled thoughts. They are expressed maturedly unlike the childish rhymes we see these days. Kudos. |
On point. ...being a freelancer takes a lot of courage. |
good news for AY. |
...first things first, you will need a manager! ...a very good manager. One that believes in you and trusts you. If you can't afford a paid manager, get someone who is close to you maybe a relative to be your manager and work for free. But it is important that that person must be passionate about your gospel music career. The sad truth is that in Nigeria of today, you need money to promote your art, especially when you have little or no industry connection. ...and I doubt 150k will do (after of course using about 40k for studio recording). Still Option 'B' is what I would go for. You just have to find other means of promoting yourself such as going for more church events. There is a church community and you've got to find a way to get your song playing in their lips. Imagine how people started singing "Igwe". Consider the usefulness of BBM and whatsapp broadcast, facebook and twitter, gospel blogs, other blogs etc. ---prof800 wishes you luck. |
Hello house, it's been a while. ..trust y'all doing fine. It's the festive season again and we have got to "feed Africa while smiling to the bank." --- Fhemmmy, 2014. So help us God. You know in Hollywood they say, "there is no business like show business"... and in the hood they say, "there is no business like hoes business"... But here in the Swamps we say, "there is no business like FISH business"...! |
JuveFarms:Packaging and exporting is sure for now. No dulling! |
Dymondgurl:I don't really know how these shots are made but I know about capturing high speed motion. There is this camera I saw on NatGeoWild that captures video up to 10,000fps (frames per seconds) at a moderately high resolution. It was used to capture some very high speed events that occur within the fraction of a second such as the grabbing of an insect by the tongue of a chameleon etc. The trick will be to put the camera on record mode, capture the event then freeze frame in your video editing suite. Simple... I think. ![]() That is just basic stuff tho. For really geeky stuffs, there is the super slow motion camera that captures moving bullet and bullet impact (used by the "slow mo guys" at about 100,000 to 1million fps... yea 1million fps! There is also Femto-photography, 10million fps craze etc. Cameras like HyperVision and Phantom flex and V-series are notable for stuffs like these. |
Nice article. Over a hundred CG artists (animators, riggers, modellers etc) were involved in making "The Croods" --- now that's what I call synergy. Three separate companies (Industrial Lights and magic, The Orphanage, and The Embassy) were involved in the Visual effects of "Iron Man" --- that's also what I call synergy. Not that I.L.M couldn't have handled the whole thing but they needed the best, and only when they work synergistic-ally with the other two would they achieve the best that they want and that's what the went for. ____ "Synergy in Visual effects and Animations... there must be synergy. If there is no synergy, there will be no control. If there is no control, there will be disorder. If there is disorder, there will be chaos." ---borrowed from Dominic Cooper as Uday Saddam Hussein (The Devil's Double, 2011) |
TempleChinedum:Glamour? ![]() Is that a movie genre? ![]() I haff dead. ![]() Na wa ooo... we learn everyday! ...new things everyday. |
Wikidraw:thanks a bunch guy. |
Wikidraw:If I had any commercial gig, I would have just given you the job straight! All I ask for, was the V-ray settings you used. Probably a screen grab or list of the values. Thank you sir! |
adewasco2k:**grabs beer from him*** Gehn... Gehn... oya AKTION!!! Upload the pics when you are done and help with that particular font family. |
spywareczar:DONE SIR! BTW ...the last three are good threads... I wonder why you had to close them. You know they could still be useful to some people.? ![]() |
spywareczar:Okay you can. ![]() |
Tymax:You are right about the anti-aliasing filter. It is just too obvious. I myself still don't understand the V-ray anti-aliasing system. It is quite tricky. But I think the out-of-scale map tiling is just camera illusion not really out of scale. If I am right, I think DerrickM used a "fish-eye" camera view and rendered the view. |
This is great! spywareczar, you see why you should always be in a good mood. You would touch a lot of lives... even those who can't comment. |
...this is a superb render. I need the full V-ray settings you used. What is your ambient occlusion setting for the scene... the shadow is a bit pronounced. kudos. |
DangotePikin:kai! Why do you have to be so shallow minded.? ![]() Just so you know, there are many women that are more intelligent than you are and there is nothing you can do about it. ![]() ![]() |
Briareos:hahaha... 33110 must hear this. ![]() |
Evina:Tell us about it. |
Omavik:Perfect? ...If you want it perfect, then you have to write it the way it is in the pics you posted. ...Standard writers in Nigeria write similar to this. |
How is this Fashola's business? It is local govt sch. Ask the LG chairman first. Btw, this is my rival-mata. ![]() |
Nonso23:Yes ooo... My brother. Plastic joystick, PVC joystick, rubber joystick, silicon joystick, or whatever joystick will still CHEAT on ladies no matter what... No matter how they hide it, love it or care for it. ![]() ...After all it is in its DNA. ![]() |
