@OP... I do not understand you. Are you trying to start a revolution in nollywood with green screen technology...or you are just saying nollywood film makers do not know about the green screen? Please make your point clear. ---- Or do you have the techniques of using this technology? .... But which ever it is..."making a good movie is not all about chroma keying or bla bla bla" just so you know. Recall that the makers of the movie 'kajola' made extensive use of chroma keying to achieve most of their visual effects. |

safarigirl: when I don't have to cough out transport of at least 800naira going and coming, pay for a ticket of #1,500, not to mention buy common plastic bottle of coke for 300 and popcorn 800 naira(can you imagine?) I will happily spend my days and nights there. Where you want make studen manufacture over 3k(somebody's school fees) from? When I can watch the movie for free? Or do you want to sponsor me? I just go when pepper don rest or on my birthday, else, I stay home and wait for it to come online. A begger has no choice. As for the fast-food culture, I haven't gone to eat in one of those places in 2 years. Cinema going and fastfood are American cultures, have they copied our own?We should go see a Nigerian movie at the Cinema on your birthday... ![]() |
safarigirl: This topic has been hijacked by over-achievers trying to prove the superiority of their IQ over their fellow humans. @OP, What else? ![]() I was thinking in that dimension...and then I saw your signature: Say NO to Osaze's recall ...see it's nothing 'bout superiority. |
INCREDIBLE! Is this real? If it is, God bless her. |
mrsincredible: i need to add 'A" for it to be more difficultAdd 'A', add 'AN', add 'TO', add 'AT', add 'FOR'... ...else it's gonna be too easy without much fun!. Damn... you've got to add 'BE' |

njokusboy: Wait a minute, are u the prof dat lambasted usdunno know what you're talking 'bout.. i need explanations...pls |

free2ryhme: i will never pay to watch dustbins ![]() bros, the question said "Will You Pay To Watch A Nigerian Cinema Movie ?" ...not dustbins! Cruel you. |
vivacious vivi: This might sound a tad unpatriotic but my answer is a resounding NO! I haven't watched more than 10 nollywood "movies" in my lifetime in d privacy of my house. I certainly won't pay to watch them. And Yes, I'm a regular cinema goer.'you are a regular cinema goer'... ...so what movies do you go to see at the cinemas? Hollywood? Bollywood? tah! Gemme a break! |
safarigirl: A foreign movie can always be downloaded for free online, but till today, I'm yet to find Ije or that Through the Glass by Stephanie Okereke online or even in the market. People paid 1k to watch Django Unchained when it came out, me, I balance for house, download am free, I've watched it over 5 times and it's still on my phone, same as Avatar. If I went to see it at a cinema, it would've cost me no less than 3k.Do you know that half of the people who went to see 'Django unchained' in US-Cinemas already have the ripped version at home? But that don't stop them going to the cinemas to raise over 425million bucks for the movie makers to get their money back. They could have stayed in the comfort of their homes to watch it but rather chose to visit the cinema. Why? Because it is a culture! Similar to the fastfood-going-culture where you would prefer to be taken to a fast food restaurant just to eat fried rice that we can both prepare in the kitchen at home! Although this too is becoming unpopular and sometimes young lovers wouldn't have interesting places to go for dates. That is why there is need for nigerians to embrace the cinema-going-culture! |
drnoel: sorry what was the question again? Will You Pay To Watch A Nigerian Cinema Movie? ![]() |
ifyalways: Seriously, taking my boys once in a while to Genesis no dey sweet me for body at all. Man just dey waste money gan.Madam, I feel you... 'Cinema-going' is a culture you should teach your boys in this age. Though it's not coming cheap. |
begwong: i wouldnt. i will just wait and get a copy of the film the next day after its release in alaba for #100thatz impossible! ![]() |
