MY BIRTH STORY.

To the glory of God Almighty alone do I share this story.

Thank God for the successful journey of 9 months and a supernatural child birth.
I conceived my baby due to God's mercy. My LMP
was on the 10th of August, 2019. I had been trying to conceive for some time to no avail. I underwent an eye surgery in September,
2019. I had no idea that I had conceived before that surgery. I was expecting AF and even wore sanitary towel to the theatre. Unknown to me that God had heard my cry for forgiveness. I was filled with so much joy and gratitude when I later realized that I was pregnant. My heart and prayers goes out to all GTC mothers all over the world. Despite, the fact that I have older children, It is heartbreaking to keep seeing your monthly flow when you are longing to conceive a baby. I pray that God will answer their prayers this month in Jesus' name. Amen.

I went to register in a new hospital on Wednesday, 6th May, 2020 because the hospital that I had been using was sealed up due to a reported case of covid19. I was already 39 weeks gone and I was done and ready to meet my baby. I had a scan that day and as expected was given a very far EDD- 24th May as against 11th &13th of May. The sonographer had told me that my cervix was very closed to my dismay. I had resolved to eat a lot of pineapples or drink castor oil if I didn't fall into labour naturally. I was induced for my earlier pregnancy of my 3rd child, so I did not want to be induced this time around.

However, God had something in stock for me. It all started on Thursday, 7th May, 2020. I hosted a zoom meeting @ 9:00am. After the meeting, I was juggling a lot on my hands and executing managerial functions while reporting to my boss. I had scheduled to host another meeting @ 1:50pm that same day, unknown to me that the meeting was not going to hold.

At 11:30 am, (due to the pandemic, I work from home) I decided to catch some sleep before the next meeting. My husband who was also at home with me and our kids, also joined me in our bedroom while our older kids were going about their home work.

With my DH beside me, I thought of using that avenue to make love to him in order to kick start something. I allowed him to stimulate my ripples which was a no go area throughout my pregnancy because they were quite sensitive. While we were at it, I felt some contractions. I tried to ignore them as I was savouring the moment. This continued until I could no longer bear them. I excused myself and went to the rest room where I had a seemingly unending urination and defecation. I kept checking with clean hands to see if I had lost my plug or something unusual was happening. I saw nothing strange. I just assumed that the contractions that I was having were braxton hicks because they were not regular nor consistent.

After about 10 mins later, we could no longer continue with our game and we suspected that I was experiencing early labour. So I tried to eat something light and get some rest when I did not feel any contraction. When contractions came, they began to intensify and I kept changing labour positions like kneeling on my fours, squatting, standing with my legs apart, swaying my hips from side to side, etc.

At 12:38pm, my boss called me yet again to discuss official matters after we had just chatted on Whatsapp. There and then, I told her that I was in early labour. She screamed and asked me to suspend all work immediately and prayed for me. I had yet another contraction during that call. I asked her to please postpone my zoom meeting till further notice.

With work settled, I told my husband the contents of my hospital bags and we planned to head for the hospital immediately. Then, a very strong contraction came and I felt like going to toilet, my husband was right behind me and said we must leave the house after I had recovered from that contraction. Then, yet another strong contraction joined in quick succession, leaving me with little time to recover. Booah! My water broke right before my husband's eyes and he became worried, saying "Honey, your water has broken" then, I realised that I was almost at my peak. Things were happening so fast. With another contraction, I bore down asking my husband to pour water on me since we were in the bathroom. He did, but I needed more water, so I laid in the water and as he was trying to get me to stand up, he shouted" Honey see your baby's head!" My goodness! unbelievable! My baby's head? I felt a very strong urge to push and I started to push. My husband and I were all alone there. To say that he was perplexed is an understatement. He was wondering who he could call for help. Meanwhile, I was already pushing. He summoned courage to take the delivery of our baby. Mind you, he is not a doctor nor a medical worker, neither am I. He kept encouraging me to push and I held on to his arm and pushed with the help of God. To God's glory, our son was born at about 1:16pm before my scheduled meeting!

I had earlier bought a pair of scissors for another purpose and I directed my husband to bring it and like a flash back, I remembered that I had read how to cut an umbilical cord somewhere stating that the cord should not be cut immediately but after the child had inhaled some oxygen which would make the cord turn light blue from white before it could be cut. God's leading and guidance was with us. We successfully cut the cord and called for help while we were at it. My husband could not clamp the cord initially because of panicking. So we joined hands together and God helped us. He sent nurses to our rescue. Who helped me to deliver the placenta and the afterbirth.

All this while, my older children sensed what was happening and began to pray for me in the living room. When they told that I had put to birth, they turned the prayer session into praise and worship session, praising God for answered prayers. I have never seen my kids so grateful and elated as they were.

God made me to deliver like the Hebrew women before the nurses could arrive. We have gone for routine checks and the doctors have certified us OK!

This could only have been God!!!
We are in awe.

To all expectant mothers, quick and easy labour to you all. Healthy mothers and babies, rejoicing family in Jesus' name. Amen.

To the awaiting mothers, your waiting is over from this month in Jesus' name. Amen.

God Almighty put praises, laughter and overwhelming joy in my life as He made me deliver as the Hebrew women on Thursday, 7th May, 2020 to my miracle baby boy at 1:20pm in my bedroom. My gratitude to God, knows no bounds! Mother, baby and entire family doing very great and full of rejoicing! May God's name be praised forever. Amen!

Rejoice with me and join me praise God for safe delivery. My beautiful princess arrived a week ago, sunday, April 26th. It was indeed a supernatural birth, no tears, no complications.

I increased my daily walk to an hour just the previous day before delivery (Saturday), then i greedily ate a lot of pineapple , I believe I unknowingly induced labour. I started experiencing what felt like menstrual cramp by midnight, this continued till Sunday afternoon, when I got to the hospital I was 7cm gone . By 8pm , my princess landed. I walked out of the labour room with my baby and was discharged next morning. My God is awesome!

Safe delivery to the remaining mothers.

My sister, it hasn't been so easy especially with pelvic pain. Its like I sit, stand and walk with pain down there.

I went for a walk last evening. Kitted up in combat shorts, big t-shirt and face cap feeling chick and sportish. At some point, I saw my walking steps through my shadow, o gal, I was really waddling cheesy

Na so I come dey form cat walking to reduce the waddling o grin

Well, God has been faithful. I can't repay him for His grace thus far. I am more than confident that even as we all are counting down to meeting our precious ones, He would grant us overwhelming joy, baskets full of testimonies and the joy and fulfillment of motherhood in Jesus' name.

My princess arrived April 19th via emergency cs at 35weeks 3 days weighing 2.5kg, all I can say is God did it, I was already slipping into coma due to hypertension at 230/140 but God helped me in the theatre, full BS coming soon, let me recover small, thanks everyone for your advice earlier.

Congratulations! I have had you in my thoughts and prayers teamie. Thank God who is too faithful to disappoint us. Speedy recovery and kisses to your precious princess.

Wish you same. Moisturise the stretching abdominal skin by applying any of the following: olive oil, Shea butter(ori) or any good moisturizing cream often. Avoid the temptation of scratching. Instead gently rub the itchy area with your palm. Doing all this regularly, will save you from ugly stretch marks.

We pray that your hands will see us through as we all deliver as at when due in Jesus name. We come against any form of complication and loss, it shall not be mentioned in our midst in Jesus name.

We remember one of us cheifboomite204 we pray that your peace will guide her heart and all will end in praise for her in Jesus. Take charge of all the medical practitioners attending to her and baby and work wonders through them in Jesus name. Amen

We pray for every member of our family that you cause your face to shine upon them. Amen

Hello mama, I will advise that you don't get worried. There are certain factors that make it seem like a baby is not kicking:
1. Being a first time mum.
2. The position of a baby's placenta in the womb. i.e an anterior placenta ( in front of the womb) which cushions the kicks and movements more, so that the mother does not feel them strongly. etc
When you do a scan, you will see your baby dancing and playing joyfully. If you are still curious gently tap your bump or play music for your LO to gbe body wink

. As the pregnancy progresses, don't complain that FIFA is going on in your womb ooo grin

Good morning mamas. Finally summoning up courage to do this.
We lost our precious little one few days ago. Premature rupture of membrane at 21wks. My heart is so broken that I can feel it in my chest. But God is my strength.

All things work together for good for them that love God. Please my sis, as painful as this is, see this as a blessing in disguise. The giver of good and perfect children shall bless you again very soon.
I had a very bitter experience with PROM 6 years ago ( 2013) with my 2nd child. I thought I was lucky to have given birth to her despite the PROM. She was very beautiful but had congenital defects. She was born blind. She had delays in meeting developmental milestones. Weeping was a daily affair for me. She eventually died at 2 years old after a lot of turmoil.
Today, God has blessed me with other children. One thing is SURE, YOU SHALL LAUGH AGAIN IN JESUS' NAME.

Dear glowing mummies, Good afternoon. I hope you all are bumping well.

Please I beg put mouth in this my matter. I'm 18 weeks.

Went to see the Dr this morning. After every every, we did scan and I saw my LO. I'm always happy doing scan because I enjoy the view.

Then Dr decided to do a transvaginal scan to check the cervix length. We then saw that the middle of the cervix was open, like a canal and with fluid. Yes the inner and the outer parts were closed but the middle was open. Even the Dr was confused. He said the liquid might drain and the cervix might close but he can't trust it as it might open again. So he's suggesting a cerclage. I felt so bad because he checked the cervix about 5 weeks ago and it was ok.

I was just crying like a baby. I don't know what to make out of this. I feel so down. Hubby travelled and I haven't told him yet. I'm so heartbroken. I was just rocking my bump a few days ago now this?

Please has anyone had such an experience? What could have caused it? Maybe it's the hormones but I can't stop crying

Sister, please do not cry. That is what the devil wants you to do. Look at it on the positive side, your LO is doing great!
Besides, let's thank God for early detection. The opening of the cervix has a solution which the Dr. has suggested as the next action plan(cerclage). This will prevent the cervix from opening until it is removed around your edd. Thus, keeping your LO safe from infections and miscarriage.
Please inform your hubby about it asap in a calm tone. It is important that you do the needful soon. You could also seek a second opinion from another qualified doctor.
Again, don't lose hope. Commit this development to God in prayer and He will perfect the good work that He has started in Jesus' name.

The itches you feel may most likely be as a result of skin stretching and expansion of the boobs and womb. Please avoid the temptation of scratching them because it will result into ugly looking stretch marks. It is important that you use moisturizers regularly. Shea butter (ori), olive oil, etc will come in very useful. Hope this helps.

I don't think nzu is safe for your baby dear. Instead, try ginger. You could keep a little piece in your mouth and chew gradually or make ginger tea by boiling it in water. Feel free to confirm this from your doctor or google search it for more info.

My bathroom break has trippled. It's like all the water in my body wants to finish. Everybody is laughing at the way I'm always going to pee as if I kept something in the toilet that I'm always going to check. Lol. But nothing spoil. Na belle I get I no kill person

In jesus name, almighty God we appreciate you for bringing us thus far, we thank you for all pregnant mummies, we glorify you for the Miracle in our wombs, to you be glory, honour and adoration.

We thank you for our older kids and husband, for your protection over all that pertains to us we say thank you.

Gracious God, we thank you for our mummies trusting you for the fruit of the womb because you will visit them and their expectations will not be cut short. We know your report supercede any doctor's report therefore we believe in your word that says "NONE shall be barren " Father let this be their the portion as they begin to announce their BFP, Amen.

We pray for all pregnant women on this thread and others associated with us, Supernatural delivery is their portion. we will hear the voices of both mother and baby(ies). We pray evil attendant, nurse or doctor won't be on ground on the day of their delivery and we come against any mistakes. Amen

We pray for our children both the ones in the womb and the ones around us, may God's hand of protection rest on them, no stillbirth or abnormalities will not be recorded concerning the unborn babies and accident and death is not the portion of our children. Amen

We pray for our husband that you lift them up and grant them wisdom required of the head of the family. Amen

Lastly, we pray for mothers and family that have recorded any loss of any kind, Father, show them mercy and put a smile on their faces. Turn their sorrows to joy. Amen.
