She's a VERY GOOD woman but I don't think she can be a good VP. She can't own up to the many dirty games of the countless bad eggs in PDP who will end up playing politics with her hard earned reputation thereby soiling her image.
Any well meaning incoming president should constitute an economic recovery team involving people with proven expertise like Ngozi Okonjo, Charles Soludo, Sanusi. Oby Ezekwesili and maybe a few others in the Diaspora arming them with terms of reference and 2years time frame broken down into quarterly mandates, starting from Industrialization, Electricity Power Stability, Entrepreneurship, Technology Transfer, Forex, unemployment, redeeming of international image etc.
With these key areas every other thing will fall into place and the masses will rejoice.

Ngozi can be a very good vice president. Is it not noteworthy that despite dealing with the fantastically corrupt end period of GEJ's tenure, she was able to hold the economy and still remain innocent of any wrongdoing? This woman's specialty is in handling the economy. If Atiku has to run around the world for his 1st 4yrs, here is a woman that can grow the economy drastically while he is away. And she wont need to steal any money because she is honest. She is the real Mrs Integrity. Not the lifeless that is bigoted and nepotic. False integrity somebody!

I want to make some specific prophecies on who will become president of Nigeria in 2019.

1. Atiku would pick a SE/SS running mate.

2. Afenifere (backed by Obasanjo) would support Atiku and settle for relevant cabinet positions. This would greatly reduce APC's votes from the SW in the presidential polls.

3. Atiku would poll more than 22 million votes against a Buhari 14 +million vote.

4. INEC would find it impossible to rig the elections due to the massive public support for Atiku.

5. Tinubu would win Lagos and still have some political clout.

6. Atiku would be sworn in as president and all Nigerians would be united in celebration for the restoration of a united and progressive country.

7. Buhari would leave the stage and remain one of the most unpopular ex-presidents ever!

The South West will be deciding the winner in 2019. The South West knows what is at stake so it is quite easy to predict how the South West will vote. For once the South East will have the opportunity to decide the winner as well but as usual their lack of ability to form alliances will give the South West the major deciding power. Nigerian politics is very easy to predict when you are not sentimental. Several months ago a friend argued that either Saraki or Tambuwal will win the PdP ticket I asked the friend to bet that Atiku was going to win my friend no gree bet oh out of fear hahaha because I don chop the friend money before. When I see people beating their chest about who will win or not win on this forum forgetting the trends and stats I just laugh if you stop for a moment and look at the numbers and trends it is pretty clear who will most likely win in 2019.

Talking plenty and saying nothing! A SE VP by Atikulate would seal the doom of the lifeless. SE and SS folks all over the country would vote en mass for Atiku. Yorubas can be trusted to vote with their senses. I can bet that despite Tinubu's influence, Some SW states would vote Atiku. Tinubu's move with Ambode shows he is still quite democratic despite his grandstanding with a failed Buhari continuity. Nigeria must survive. Artikulate 2019 issa goal!

Rossiki is making perfect sense in my opinion but for being so combative and insultive towards Dutchbraht. Nigeria is work in progress. It is really myopic to claim we would be better off colonised. Nigeria's peace and progress is a wonder to many analysts seeing how well we have so far fared despite diversity. We can't be better off under colonisation. Those names you call as saviours may not necessarily be. Durotoye and Muoghalu could not reach a consensus agreement. They are just players who have not got opportunity to be where the bigwigs are. Realism as opposed to idealism dictates we work with an Atiku who would most likely regain our country from Buhari's failures. Nothing stops us from voting him out if he under performs come 2023. So, let's believe in our country if we wanna see it grow!

Nwanne, what you have said makes sense, but the PDP has to take that chance. Now if we vote or not vote for APC, they are still going to give it to the yorubas in 2023. But there could be a chance of splitting SW with a PDP VP candidate from SW. The state the VP candidate comes from will definitely swing towards pdp and that's why I recommend a Lagosian. VP seat cannot get us the presidency, supporting APC cannot give us the presidency aswell, only loyalty to a party can if the party finds itself in power.

Beyond all this, if Buhari does another 4 years, he may cause irreparable damage that it wouldn't even matter if the president is from my hometown. So taking power from Buhari is of primary importance. Everything else including igbo VP or president comes a distant second.

If we are going to remove the lifeless, we had better do it the just way. The SE has held out for PDP for this while. They deserve the VP slot or else we want to prove to them they do not matter in the Nigerian project. Buhari is already doing that well. What would be the need to change him?

If Atiku gives the VP to the SW, he would lose to Buhari. He needs to court the SE where PDP support is strongest. Gbenga Daniels did not win the primaries for Atiku. SE delegates did!

There is no need for rancour here. The SW should concede the VP position to the SE for fairness and equity. This is the same reason Buhari has outlived his usefulness. Failure to include. Osinbanjo is still politically relevant. He can be fielded by the APC against Atiku's VP in 2027.

The Wazirin Adamawa has emerged as the hope for a united and prosperous Nigeria following a terrible 3 years misrule by the APC and the clearly nepotic President Buhari. At this juncture, Atiku needs a VP who would solidly seal his victory at the polls in 2019. The SE,SW and SS are geographical locations to be considered for the VP slot. I am of the opinion that the VP slot be handed to the SE. The SW is presently strongly influenced by the Tinubu led APC stronghold. This facy notwithstanding, Atiku can count on the SW to deliver him a winning as the Yorubas are known to be progressives despite block influence. Being the most educated region in the country, they are prone to vote based on reason as opposed to fanatical followership. This means that the main focus of the Atiku Campaign Organisation should be in the SW. The SS is naturally pro Atiku. The effort of Secondus as PDP Chairman places the SS in relevance. The MB is already in support of PDP above APC. The SE is Atiku's sure banker for winning APC in 2019. Everything should be done to discourage voter apathy from the region. A VP from the SE would ensure active participation of South Easterners. The slot of the VP should be zoned to the SE. Okonjo Iweala and Peter Obi readily come to mind! Let's be Atikulate!
