Romance / Re: Aftermath Of Christmas: Matters Arising by professore(m): 2:11pm On Dec 27, 2022
Samantha123:
I am a Christian, but I sometimes do question the religion because of the things that I've witnessed happening within the church.

I've seen church leaders cohabiting with their boyfriends and girlfriends, when I asked about it, I was told that the pastor doesn't see anything wrong with masturbation, meaning that he also wouldn't see anything wrong with them cohabiting, I've seen pastors using their high positions to scam their congregants, I've seen Christians talking down other Christians when we're supposed to be one, I've seen a pastor using his belt to whip his church leaders just because they didn't do enough evangelism for the week, I've seen Christians worshipping their pastors instead of God.

I've witnessed all these things in real life, with my own eyes.
look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith (pastor is not your model, Jesus is).

Romance / Re: Women Don't Value Simps by professore(m): 3:11pm On Dec 26, 2022
Karen2024:
This is just the bitter truth. Women don't have a shred of respect or piece of love towards any man who presents himself as a woman rapa. You want to please her, worship her and shower her with unnecessary attention and resources makes you look cheap to women most especially we Nigerian girls. We don't value Mr. Nice Guy.

Now this is not to say that alphamales are harsh but they are principled men who don't foolishly lick women's butt crack. They are nice and fun to be with. They are expensive and the type of guys women value and wouldn't want to loose. A neckless of 100k and that of 20k, which would you value?

I implore all men to be alphamales because that's what we Nigerian girls wants and deserves.
okay
Travel / Re: Having Money Without Travel Options Is Pointless. by professore(m): 8:27pm On Dec 23, 2022
ponlear:
I can’t agree less.
With your dual citizenship, you have even more options on your plate.

If you’re denied based on option A, you can shot with option B.

In all, money is still key

Stack up the funds and buy your second citizenship in a country like St Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Dominica and St Lucia that allows you travel up to 157 other countries including the US, UK, Canada and more for being a citizen and you carry their passport
really?

humility101:
I met this lovely lady (30 yo) online 2 months ago. She is in Nigeria and I’m in the Uk. We have been actively chatting, phoning and having lots of facetime. She’s got all they qualities I need in a wife. She has also gone to see my peeps once and they said nice things about her.

I’m planning on wedding her this Christmas and she can join me immediately (UK can be very lonely without a partner) on a dependent visa.

But sometimes I pause and ask myself, I hope I’m not rushing this whole thing? I hope she is not pretending to be nice? I hope she truly loves me? I hope she is not seeing me as a means to japa? A lot of questions going through my mind. This is marriage and I don’t wanna make mistakes.

Advice me please.

take your time, but most importantly pray.

Family / Re: How Should I Punish My Brother For Doing This? by professore(m): 1:28pm On Nov 10, 2022
FeliciaOja:
I have never felt so much anger when I remember what happened to me.
I stay in Benin, my younger brother visited me 2 days ago.
It has been 2 days of katakata
The boy is 19 this year
He is doing security guy for one plaza
But I'm planning to send him back to my parents after what happened last night

I came back weak and tired from work and my phone battery died
As I tried to open the outside gate. I found out it was locked. We only lock it only from 9pm
But it was 7pm
My neighbour had travelled, and I gave my brother the key, so I started knocking the gate for my brother to open.

I knocked and knocked and knocked no response. I shout his name no response and my phone was dead.
I was practically lock out of my own apartment
I shake gate, knock and knock still no response.
I was sooo angry and some people saw me and thought I was a crazy girl knocking at somebody house.
Can you believe that I was locked outside from 7pm till 11pm.
My arms are swollen from knocking for too long
No place to go and my co workers live far and no way to call them. It was a nightmare

Out of nowhere I summoned courage and climbed the fence with broken bottles and sharp metals.
Hmmmmmm for my own house wey i pay for.

I was praying nobody see me and think otherwise cuz it was around 11pm
Especially vigilante groups
Na so I jump enter almost break leg
be careful around him (he is your brother but yet a dangerous person). Also get a power bank and move around with it.

duality:

My only advice is,

Don't buy an expensive car. Buy a cheap car, work on it and deliberately be satisfied with it.

Use your money for other important things.
sometimes it is the modern safety features of the car that will save you in an unexpected situation.

Postpone your purchase..Then ask this question and assimilate all the advice you can before you leap

Don't be like that yeye girl for here wey no seek advice before she go buy dedi bodi Camry Spider wey nearly kill am..only for here to start laying curses on folk here when we explained to her the consequences of her indiscretions..Na her Papa she lay curse on sha..Das if that moto never kill her sef

There are too many things you need to know before you leap into buying a car..especially if you are a 1st time car driver and have no previous experience with cars.

As for me, I will just drop these few tidbits for you:

Research the kind of car you intend buying ..some cars are generally more reliable than others.

Pay an expert to inspect whatever vehicle you intend to purchase...Paying that stipend for inspection will definitely save you a lot of sorrow, tears and blood.

Others will make their input..me don tire

nice input
