Girlee:
I'm just an eighteen years old female child who would be turning nineteen in Five months time.
I'm a little girl with the brains of a wise old man.
I'm a counselor, motivational speaker, inspirational writer and an upcoming writer.
Nobody knows me as "Girlee"; not even me. I know that's stupid. I just had to come up with this "Girlee" I really don't fancy.
For some reasons I still can't decipher, I couldn't create an account here with my actual "social media" name (still my real name though).
I've counselled the married, singles and those in courtship. I've motivated so many and inspired a whole lot on the planet and things turned out great for them. But the thing is: who will and can counsel the counselor?

Tonight, I'm broken as I've never been before.
I've sat for jamb thrice now and in all, I scored above 200.
Why didn't I gain admission?

Continuation...
have you tried churches? They help.

Career / Re: Second Class Upper At 26 Years of age, any hope securing a graduate trainee job. by professore(m): 12:28pm On Jun 06, 2023
Covenant97:
Good evening Nairalanders

I write to seek your view on My current situation.

I am a final year student in one of the best Federal university in Nigeria(Name withheld) and certainly, will be graduating with a second class upper within the 4 point range CGPA.( I was on a first class cgpa But my cgpa was slashed no thanks to my department I was a victim as well as others)

My worry is, I will be 26 years when i eventually write my final paper as a student then come service(NYSC) by then 27 max after service. No thanks to COVID- 19 pandemic and ASUU which engulfed my chances of graduating below the 26 age bracket.

In light of the above, Do I stand a chance of securing a graduate trainee position in top multinational organization requesting for 2.1 and above within the age bracket of 26 and below post NYSC,Given that after my service I will be 27.

Ps:I am an accounting student and I intend to start my ICAN exam during service.

My current CGPA is 4.20 ,resuming for my final year come July this year.

the chance may be slim but it is very possible. But, look elsewhere too, grab an opportunity that is good enough to start as a stepping stone so that you can start gaining experience.

Yes I have but mine was blood group...first test results was O+ So I had always held on to that!!! Fast forward to my second pregnancy @28 weeks, found out I was O-(negative)...took the test again.. same thing..did it in a lab outside the hospital same thing..omo Rhesus incompatibility.. ran a test for my first child she was B+..did an indirect comb test and it came out negative..went for anomaly scan for d child I was carrying and he was so normal grin...the doctors were amazed and couldn't explain it being that I hadn't suffered from any form of miscarriage... went on to have a healthy boy after which I took the Rogan injection...it was just God!!! Nigerian lab would have put me inside one chance due to their useless mistake!!!! And to think it was a reputable research institute that made such a horrible and outrageous mistake that would have cost me having kids due to miscarriages!! Now I take Rogan after every delivery!!!
Interesting. Is that to say O- comes with complications such as miscarriage if Rogan injection is not taken?

have anyone heard about chorionic villus system (CVS) where the genotype of the baby is checked two months into the pregnancy, how accurate is it
I have heard of things like that. I am not a medical doctor but I want to believe it has to be accurate.

How is been diagnosed wrongly a limitation to science or it is the scientist error?

Which method were you able to diagnose your genotype correctly? Same science?
I heard some machines are advance and highly accurate, what about the less advance machines?

Yes, in a private hospital. I was happy with the result for marriage reasons. But I was a bit curious cos it differed from what I'd been told from childhood, so I decided to redo in a government hospital. It took a longer time to get the result, but when it came they handed my correct result back to me jeje.

Mine was wrong blood group.I first did the BG test in SS3 on the dictate of my mum and it was A plus.

Before we (my wife to be then and I)enrolled for marriage class,we did blood group test and behold a different result (O plus)came out.I complained to the lab.staff and she couldn't say anything.

I had to talk to my doctor friend who advised me to go to another lab since blood group doesn't change and the result tallied with the initial one I did when I was in Secondary school.

As regards the wrong result,I later found out that the test was done by a lab intern.I threatened to report the intern.to the management of her clinic. One of the senior staff there was begging me to sheath my sword.
can you imagine that. Thank you for your contribution.

Science has its limitations too.

Have you ever been diagnosed of the wrong genotype before? Who or what prompted you to redo? Kindly share.

This question becomes important seeing how genotype compatibility is necessary before marriage (or before even falling in love with that person at all).

Some people would have had no issue forging ahead with their marriage plans if they retook this test. But how common is this phenomenon?

To encourage people to look into this, kindly share if you have been there before.

Romance / Re: ● 6 Things You Should Never Tell Everyone ● by professore(m): 1:48pm On May 27, 2023
Hamachi:
● 6 things you should never tell everyone ●

I have come to realize that some of the problems we are facing in life all started from, sharing too much information with others, which came back to hurt us.

If you want to live a fulfilled life, here are six things I think, you should never tell people:

● Your deepest fears and insecurities:

These are private matters that should only be shared with someone you trust completely. Telling others can leave you feeling vulnerable and exposed.

● Your financial situation: Money can be a touchy subject, and discussing your finances with others can lead to jealousy, judgment, and unwanted advice.

● Your romantic problems: While it's important to have a support system, airing your romantic problems to everyone can lead to unwanted opinions and gossip.

● Your personal goals: Keep your personal goals to yourself until you have achieved them. Sharing them prematurely can lead to discouragement and criticism.

●Your negative opinions about others: Speaking negatively about others only reflects poorly on yourself. Instead, focus on positivity and building others up.

● Your past mistakes and regrets: Your past mistakes do not define you, and sharing them can lead to unnecessary shame and judgment. Focus on learning from them and moving forward.

Remember, that Trust is a precious gift that should be given with caution, and not everyone deserves access to the sacred spaces of our hearts and minds.

To live a fulfilled life, we must learn to discern those who are worthy of our trust, from those who only seek to betray it.
my friend is right on this.
Car Talk / Re: My Journey So Far As A Keke Rider... by professore(m): 3:19pm On May 26, 2023
Sonnobax15:
Good day my fellow nairalanders...It's been a while since I've been active in-here...I know how much you guys have equally missed me ,the warri guy grin .....But I must really confess that I've missed you all so much too...But the hustle has really got my hands so tied up cheesy

Well,I've sat and thought of sharing with you all my experience and journey so far on how I've fared since I left my bakery work for keke riding...

First of all,it hasn't been an easy journey..But I must say from the depth of my heart that it's the best decision I've made so far in my entire life....

Though it was given to me by a micro finance bank at a higher purchase price...But considering the amount of profit I usually make for myself on a daily basis after remitting the everyday #4k back to the micro finance bank is very mouth-watering cheesy.

Also, the peace of mind is top-notch....I don't have to be confronted by any boss whosoever for coming late to work or poor work output...As a matter of fact, I'm myself boss cool. If any passenger tries to intimidate me,I've every right to show him/her the exit door out of my keke undecided. I remember how agberos took advantage of me at first when I first started as a novice......To the extent that I stopped working during the day, waiting until the evening when the different squad of agberos have departed the roads grin. Chaiiii, dem really show me shege cha grin

Las las,it wouldn't be nice if I don't mention the fact that "agberoism" is indeed a part of this job.... Sometimes I can't help but ponder and wonder how a dude like me who used to be very quiet has suddenly turned out to be the outspoken type to the extent that I now exchange insults with other motorists on the road grin. Perhaps it's something that's encrypted in every transporter's DNA grin

In a nutshell,my deepest regret is that I neglected this idea as at five years ago...If only I had paid heed to my old man's advice, definitely, I'd have had my own keke by now... But so far so good,I give God all the glory cool

Las las, I'd love to advise every jobless but aspiring nairalander out there, that there are enough legit hustling out there which are waiting for you to come and embrace them....."KILL THE PRIDE AND HUSTLE, BECAUSE LAS LAS, NOBODY GO PUT FOOD FOR YOUR TABLE IF YOU NO GET MONEY"......

If you buy 5kg semovita from market and measure same at home, it gives you same value. Same to 50 kg of cement, 1 litre of groundnut oil, 50Cl of coke, 25g of salt, 500g of OMO detergent, 5 litres from petrol station. In pharmaceutical industry, you get different gram composition of drugs.
From the above, you discovered that many products and industries are involved but one thing is common here.

That's measurement.
You can imagine the consequences of error in these measurement. In the case of drugs - death.
Here comes in calibration, an act of ensuring accurate and error free measurement.
Study about calibration and types and include the word in your CV today as experience acquired. If I start to go into explaining calibration, I may end up writing a book. At least I have introduce the word to you. Just follow up.

How prepared are you?
