bastien: have registered my courses, I can access d TMA links, but there is nothing there, anything I click doesn't open, something like Jan - May 2014 was there and didn't open, will I be notified When my TMA is ready? Thanks
You have to manually add all your courses in the TMA link, if you have not done so. Be that as it may, TMA's are not yet out so you wont see them in your portal for now. You will see them by August. Just do your reading and try answering the questions at the end of every chapter.

bastien: @takoro13 and student of noun here, what is TMA, how can I use it? Moreso how can I get my course materials, seen people talking about it here, will I be notified? And what is course material?
Please I don't know That's Why I'm asking,let don't be like I didn't ask the senior men here,before I fail on ma own.
Anybody here knows the time for the matriculation ceremony?
Matric day is 12 July, 2014. To be on the safe side, go to your venue by 6am and be there till they finish.
TMA = Tutor Marked Assignment. It will be sent to your portal after you have registered your courses. You have four TMA's for each course. You are required to print them out, answer the questions, and go back to your portal and fill in your answers.
You can get course materials from: http://www.nou.edu.ng/NOUN_OCL/courses.htm search for your course title in the space provided e.g GST 107. Goodluck.

scheat39: but is it's unfair
How can you even think such a thing? If you want to sleep, relax, rest, watch tv, play, eat etc in a room, first gain access to that room and you can do whatever.

Takoro13: you dont need to change it again as it has no effect on your activities. do you notice Did you notice if you were charge charged #5000 as you change changed it, ? if If not, maybe you dont have much there if yes changing it back to 300lv now and want to change it back to 400lv later would required require another #5000. This money is the money we are to pay at the graduation year. am I stand to be corrected. love for all, hatred for none. peace!

I am a new student of M.Sc Info Tech, would appreciate if anyone can help with where I can find Courses Outline for I have checked the iLearn portal and it seems it has not been loaded in.

Course outline or course material. I'm in M. Sc. Info Tech. All you need is the course material. Goto http://www.nou.edu.ng/NOUN_OCL/courses.htm and search for the courses and download. Eg. CIT 811 or drop your email, and I will send them to you.

ferdimako: No I'm not @ LinkedIn... enuf already. So ur thesis has been approved? I have been in computing since 2001....whether I cram and pour means nothing as I know most of d things practically. All I crave for now on is where enterprises exist and I run d statements.
We have to take the market by storm. Yes! Run statements anywhere enterprises exist
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by professorgome: 2:08pm On Jun 30, 2014
ferdimako: Okay...on results, I will visit my SC and HQ after Matriculation ceremony.
Thanks for the past questions.
That means no hope for results yet?
This thing is taking too long for NOUN.
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by professorgome: 11:47am On Jun 30, 2014
ferdimako: U never acknowledged d PQs u got from me. Y?
Believe I didn't receive PQs. You may pls send it again.
Thanks in advance. How about the result issue?
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by professorgome: 9:34am On Jun 30, 2014
ferdimako: Not really...I still feel like living in d past. For missing results, pple shld deal with their various SCs. Find out how to draft d complaint letter, write it, provide exam slip of d affected courses and the print-out of ur results from portal. If u are still not graduated, d best is to rewrite but some still get 'remissed'. So our labor at d head office has paid off.
For fee increments, it is unfortunate but NOUN feels u ought to be working. I'm not defending them because a lot of problems abound. They didn't charge me extra but I might negotiate it in January if that comes up. I paid N45K5 for course reg + exam reg..MIT second & last semester.I'm waiting to get a thesis approved and a supervisor assigned.
Ferdimako onboard the sea.
Fly away Ferdi
Fly away NL
Come back NL
Come back Ferdi
LOL...

4reigningqueen: feels like rapture! When thoae that are dead suddenly rise to live!
They rose for power. Though I fall seven times, I shall rise again says the prophet of God. You know that I know where you are heading to by this rapture statement of yours. Anyway, welcome back to NL. We have lost some threads in this forum.
