In the interview, they will ask you:
1. To justify the reason you want to study in that area.
2. Questions on the selected area of study
3. Current Affairs (Federal and State)
The last time I appeared before the interview panel, they asked me, "who was the first governor of my state" (Rivers State). They asked a friend of mine, to name the first democratic president of Nigeria.
They may ask you to give them the course content of the course you want to study and all that. The interview is usually simple because the questions are from what you tell them in the panel. For example, if they ask you, "what did you study in your first degree?" And you answer "Computer science". Then they will ask, "Did you do programming languages?" And you say "yes". They will ask you to name the ones you did. And you say, qbasic, fortran, C++, JAVA and scripting languages etc. And they ask again. "What does the extension .js stand for?" If you had done java scripting, you will know that .js is an extension for java script file. And in that order. You have to be honest with yourself. Do not say what you have not done, it will lead you into trouble.

I happened to write on the 2nd (Thursday). The questions for ICT were so narrowed into the core subjects like "Digital Logic Design, Data Structure, software engineering, fundamentals of algorithms and advance computer architecture".

At first, i was like how on earth will this guys bring this kind of questions into an exams like this... Well, i was lucky when i stumbled to get my 41/50 out of the hall after several system issues when they used IE browser to drive the exams with an incomplete browser plugins. I had to switch to FIREFOX to avoid further issues

Well i won't dispute the very fact that the questions where easy!!! Men it WAS VERY HARD. As below:
(1) Consider a max heap, represented by the following array; 40,30,20,10,15,16,17,18,4 After inserting a nodes with value 35.Which of following is the updated max heap?
(2) The boolean expression AB'CD'is?
(3) How can you define an interrupt?
(4) In which one of the following methods for resolving the priority, the device with the highest priority is placed in the first position, followed by lower-priority devices up to the device with the lowest priority, which is placed last in the series?
(5) Sieve Technique can be applied to selection problem?
(6) Some bit field members are stored: I) left to right II) right to left III) in circular array.
and so on........

All i can say is, you just need to practice very well for the interview. Because from experience, you can score the highest but you are not guarantied to get the scholar because interview is another hard phase of this marathon.

God is the only answer to all of our questions and not man. You never know that your Scored 7 can take you to where you never expected... Keep praying and believe in him. Also pray for good governance of NDDC 2016 because 2015 government was really a mess. Can you imagine i was interviewed with an IPAD+INTERNET last year? lol....

I know this year will be good and we will have a lot of lucky people. Let's all pray for Mrs. Ibim Semenitari because she's a woman of her words just like our dear Dr. Christy Atako. I wish Dr. Christy Atako was on board....

41/50. Whao! Did do guess work? Or you actually new the answers. The 19 I got were all guessed work. Tell me, did you see the questions before that day? The way you listed those questions makes one believe that an insider or something showed you the questions and you studied them. Because there is no way anybody would have scored 30, except you are lecturing computer architecture. God will see us through.

Testing ICT with purely computer architecture(major computer engineering) without questions from networking,database,programming,security,web etc is so so wrong.

The organizers of the exams did a bad job in this regard if the test is to chose the best.

Man, just imagine a field like ICT. See those questions, the organizers decided to narrow their brains to about 4 or so topics in ICT. So bad. I've never written this kind of exam before. Computer is too broad to limit yourself to those trash called questions. And you called yourself an examiner.

They are not computer science. Engineering. The medical student that sat close to me scored 17 another person scored 19

NDDC scholar candidates, prof wrote his exam today by 9:45am for the 8am exam. I was hearing but I saw it for myself today. I wrote for computer science, those questions came from underground. I saw BUS and address, registry, binary, cache, memory, compiler. There is no way anybody would have been able to guess these questions. I managed to score 19/50. The rate of failure was massive. You see scares like 2, 5, 7, 15, 11, 9. I saw 40, 41, 31, 30. I pray they reduce the cut-off.

Its the same $30,000. For MSC they will for one year, but for PHD they will pay for three years.

My exam is today, I will do something different. I have stopped looking at any material, I will just go to the hall like that my 8am. I will give you details of the outcome.

I know somebody that was PA to onetime PDP chairman in one of the states, but when it came to giving slot, this PA didn't get that appointment even though his name was number one in the chairman's list of recommended candidates. I want to encourage you to look up to God because the arm of flesh will fail you. Trust God and not man.

Gome u don come again with ur Cinfores, na there u dey work? Cinfores was worst. How can u be an exambody and still sell PQ, whether as softeware or not, thats u seeling ur question bank, that a where they lost it. So na to kram all Cinfores PQ bank na come be better evalaution abi. I actually prefer these guys to Cinfores, with this one now, each year people will expect sometin diff, next year they might decide to set all maths ad english, nobody go kill dem, People complaind last year, Baresi is now overseas, people are complain this year, I and who ever believe in God here will go overseas, people will complain next year, Gome first son go still go overseas, (lol, cos I believe say Gome na baba o)... Thats just the way it is. God is actually the one incharge last last. So this people nor hijack anytin, the only tin I tink they should work if making the test is a single day is not possible, is only for them to make the question bank fatter, make it atleast 200questions for the computer to bring 50 at random. Buh even at their worst they are better than Cinfores. Prof dey vex because this people nor let him cinfores pq sell.

Just leave past question out of this. We have past that stage. Cinfores has over a 1000 in ability test alone. Even if they sell the software, can you gram all the 1000? The company that organized this exam did not prepare well. I guess they hijacked this contract from cinfores with out first counting the cost, and now they are fumbling. If you go to there website, you will understand what I'm saying. How can you set the same questions for people writing exams on different days? What will you expect? The later will do better. These questions are supposed to be shuffled and selected at random in such a way that everybody will not answer exactly the same question.

Goodluck to the people writing today. The Almighty God will see you through. If the questions are tough, just do guess work. You can decide to use a particular alphabet throughout, i.e 1=A, 2=A, 3=A. Sometime ago, somebody tried it and succeeded. LOL.

Usually two weeks after exams. But can't really say for sure, since everything is taking new dimension. Just relax, you will be communicated.

Go into fasting and prayer. Cast and bind so that your turn next year will not be hard at all. Or pray that they remove the exam entirely and use other means of selection as it was before 2012.

In trying to condemn other people's opinion, you made us believe that if you are not in science or engineering you shouldn't expect maths at all. And now maths showed up in Oil and Gas law.

The pple organizing the exams are not been fair in the way they are handling the exams, the questions are the same for the pple in the same field. so, the pple that wrote first are at disadvantage cos pple ended up telling others everything that came out.most pple that wrote at the last batch scored higher . I tell u, if it continues like that tomorrow most Engineering guys will score 50/50 cos they av practically solved all the questions that came out today. Most of them came around since 8am jxt to get the questions that was set and they av succeeded.
secondly , the organizers repeated one question so many times , if u fail one u will fail all and if u get one , u will get all . for me that is rubbish !.

The exam info is unfolding gradually. Did you write today? Please enlighten us more of the nature of the exam. Are the subjects, ict, logic, current affairs etc there?
