False Dichotomy Fallacy

hint: I don't accept evolution either

but you, you gave your ancestors the middle finger by saying a Jewish Tribal Deity created you

you dumped Olodumare, Obatala, Oduduwa for a Jewish god

your new god resides in Israel, likes mount Horeb and you fervently wait and hope for a new Jerusalem

can't you see the idiocy of it all?

I hope Africa extricates itself from the grips of this inferiority complex and I can only play my part which I'm doing

Pascal's Wager?

let me educate you

What a full-blown analysis of Pascal's Wager will actually lead you to conclude is this: "Find the deity who claims the most fiendish, grisly, excruciating, horrible tortures imaginable for disbelieving in him and give him your unswerving allegiance forever and ever, or that's what'll befall you! "

It results in a race to the bottom to see which "spiritual" huckster can come up with the most imaginatively and persuasively sadistic deity — a veritable carnival of carnage in the ongoing evolutionary contest for the hearts and minds of the gullible.

let me ask you, "If I tell you I will kill you unless you believe that 1+1=3, you may tell me that 1+1=3 just to save your life, but you won't actually believe it. Thus the Wager fails." Unless, of course, God can be impressed by atheists who merely pretend to believe so that they can avoid punishment.

So many people treat Pascal's Wager like the ultimate 'gotcha' that I have to wonder: Has it ever worked? Has there ever been someone who responded with "You're right! It is safer to believe! I will believe from now on! Thank you for saving my immortal soul!" Do these Pascal purveyors even care if anyone is convinced or not? Or is it another case of preaching to the choir? They can pat each other on the back and say "Ha ha, good one!"

Pascal's Wager rarely works on the outsider; it can only scare Christians from becoming atheists not make an atheist become Christian
don't bother making lengthy argument, you've got a whole eternity with the devil grin

your imaginary enemies (Lucifer, Devil, Satan, Demon, principalities) don't exist either
have you ever thought the energy behind your consciousness (soul) won't be destroyed but transformed to another state (afterlife) when your body dies?
Or there's higher intelligence in greater dimensions?

Jesus was the bastard son of an acclaimed
virgin whose mother used hypnotic powers to delude Joseph who is a responsible carpenter into thinking he met god and god told him to accept Mary and her unborn child

this child was named Jesus and his mother kept calling him son of god and this child deluded himself into believing it, he went around gathering 12 people who shared in his delusions
this made him talk anyhow and criticise anyone even destroying people's market one day, this inevitably led to him suffering from delusion of grandeur

his village people grew tired of his antics so decided to beat the crap out of him and hung him on the cross like they do common thieves in those days, he realised his folly and quickly asked god why he forsook him and even told his imaginary father to make the "cup pass over him", but since there's no god anywhere listening no one saved him and he died, his other disciples stole his body, claimed he rose from the dead and flew to heaven on the third day; even his mother that authored the delusion didn't see him

there are deluded people who believed this man died for their misdemeanors, they pray to this dead man everyday and cover themselves with the blood of this man

these people call themselves "Christians"

its a pity Nigeria has a huge population of people that believes a troublemaking carpenter suffering from delusion of grandeur

how can a Nigerian believe a Jew died for their sins when most of the people who saw him die didn't buy that? its like Americans claiming Murtala Mohammed died for their sins while Nigerians laugh at their delusions
you've just narrated your father's life. If only you know how the devil is mocking your lost soul

Religion or not religion, how does that dispute what I have said.

Christianity is a religion, if it is not, then there's no religion on earth at all.

Christianity, Islam... Are religions
Live and let others live?
Tell that to the Christians that carry megaphone early in the morning cutting my sleep short, tell that to the Christians that disturb me on the bus preaching while on transit, just to mention a few.
I won't keep shut, it's my responsibility to preach sanity to the brainwashed... Ever wonder why Christianity is on the decline and having more atheists...?

Gullible Christians do not understand the game their religion plays with them.

If something bad happens, it's temptation. If something good happens it's God's blessing.

Whichever way, their God is perfect and has the perfect plan for them.
Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship with God through Christ

Prayer never works. If it does work, Nigeria would have been a great country after all the numerous churches in every nook and cranny, long durations of prayers...
if prayer doesn't work you will be at the cemetery. I've been praying for people like you to live and testify the name of the Lord wink
