Nice piece but the voluntary contribution idea doesn't sit well with me. There's penalties for withdrawing your money before retirement and you get hit by tax too.
I think I'm open to the idea of T-bills though. I know people that do it but the return isn't something to jump about. The comforting part is the fact that my money is safe.

That was the case of greece and so many so called developed countries. They keep bringing up policies that will support their economy, I guess greece has ran out of tangible policies, and they are suffering it now, like wise so many other western countries.

Greece is an example of a pseudo-socialism. Socialism is a system of governance where govt provides for everybody according to their need. This sort of system discourages in simple HUSTLING as its easier to lay back collect govt benefits than to work.
Any sensible govt should encourage capitalism with little supervision/interference. Capitalism is basically the survival of the fittest, a dog eat dog world, no work no chop world.

That piece of paper we carry around is not the money, rather the value it confer on the bearer is the money. As soon as they start printing currency, value goes down and money loses its important feature- general acceptability. This is because people will no longer see it as a store of value and would rather hold other form of wealth. Hope you get it

Very correct! Goods that has inelastic demand are basically good of necessity or goods produced by a monopoly. There aren't many of them around.

Elementarily, you were right the first time. IF the demand for a certain good is elastic, it means it respond to variation in price. Hence, with the right price people would increase their demand. Inelastic demand on the other hand,means demand is price resistant. As such people would demand the same irrespective of the price.
