As far as the post doesn't go against any published Nairaland rules I don't see why it's unethical. Maybe you should talk to the Admins and engineers of Nairaland to amend their settings because technically the post is opened to everyone as against your claim.

You do not have to be told it is Unethical to peep when someone is taking a shower to know only an indiscipline mind would conjure such thought. You don't need a billboard inscription or an announcement on TV that it is Unethical to invade someone's privacy. You definitely do not need a lawyer to quote different sections to know that as a learned person there are some things you don't do so you don't get asked if you are stuck in stone age. It's very simple. Anything diary represents some sort of privacy. The very least you could have done is blur out her username.

The fact that there isn't a written rule against what you have done doesn't make it UNETHICAL. Anyone with a sane mind will know that. There isn't a legal law against cheating but everyone knows it is bad. It's called Common Sense. Phew!
