sikowitz17: On that matter of predestination, I don’t believe anything is predestined... like I said earlier on this thread, God gave us free will and the ability of choice... was Judas destined to betray Jesus? No.. it was written that a disciple will betray him... it could have been Peter or Paul.. it could have been anybody who allowed hate and greed into their hearts.. that’s why the Bible says guard your heart. If you decide to jump off a 20 story building now or shoot yourself in the head, do you think you were destined to shoot yourself in the head? You chose to do it and whatever decisions we make, we must live with the consequences...Right now, you can choose to give up on your army ambition even if you were destined to be a great general... have you not heard of men of God saying when god first called them, they declined and the mantle moved to somebody else? I’ve heard and seen it.. the founder of a very popular church in Ogun state wasn’t the first person to receive the mantle.. somebody declined the call and it moved... it’s all choices and decisions.. somebody said it earlier that it depends on your faith and believe, left for me, I believe everything that would happen to man have been predestined, however, the way and manner the predestination will come to pass is left to you. Yesterday, 2 females soldier died in Ilorin, they were not on any mission oh, it was reckless driving by keke napep riders that killed them, what I want to bring out is that, is it their free will to die like that or the predestination? |

Mugiwaraluffy: That's the reason northerners are not really scared of death. Religion also play a major role coz if ure versed in Qur'an or have strong aqidah, you won't be scared of death rather you'll prepare yourself for the life after this world. And this is the same belief terrorist have and twist the words in their preaching to garner followers. An average terrorist is not afraid of death, infact that's what they want and that's what makes them dangerous. My advice to all intending officers, it's good to have fear, fear of dying is not cowardice, in fact knowing how fragile our soul is can make us good soldiers. Always have this at the back of your mind if you eventually make it to NE or theatre of operation, the terrorist wants to die, it is your duty to grant him his wish without losing your life. you are absolutely correct |

Mugiwaraluffy: You know why northerners don't have fear for this job? It's coz they believe every soul shall taste death and the way and manner in which you'll die is written already, you'll never die b4 your time and once your time is up, 1s will not be added to it. So even if you're in the comfort of your home, when ur time is up, you'll definitely go likewise someone in a fire fight, when he still have time left in this world, no matter how difficult the situation is, he'll still survive it.
Secondly, most of them grew up knowing one military officer or more and they see the way dey command respect without asking for it. If ure from the north, you'll see ladies that are praying to marry a military officer. See if u be officer here, you're hot sturvs. I know you know all this na I love that line you made mention of time. God is the mastery of time, he programmed all human activities with time, you can't die a seconds before you time and not a seconds after your time, then what is the essence of fearing death? Why not fear and prepare for what you will meet later |

ugo4u: Why is everyone scared of SSC abi una think say being a combatant na wasa? SSC is trained for war and believe you me upon commissioning you will see plenty of it(fire fight). Infact the new commandant is doing them a favour, as mental toughness, resoluteness, guts, endurance is being imbibed into their subconscious. Wetin una expect before? to go dey chill for air conditioned hostels? Army work no be bank job or other suit and tie hassle. Most likely you'll be living inside trenches for months far away from civilization and the warmth of your "............". The life lessons/Skills you learnt as a combatant might just be the thin line btw life and death.
That's Why I'm a bit annoyed that DSSC don't receive combatant training because out there in the field you'll face what SSC/RC will face. Trust me you do not want to be in a situation were you'll be telling your subordinates or even Bokoharam/Bandits/Daredevil Kidnappers that you ain't a combatant, e no go funny for you.
If you Train hard, you'll fight easy and bleed less in battle
Victory is from God Alone my brother dssc may be trained in ribadu oh if ssc is trained at afaka true true...well, not spoil, gentlemen, just zero it... |

LegendPV: To the best of my knowledge and experience 1..yes it is okay to upload
2. It is okay to use... If u eventually get the certificate fine, if u couldn't fine
3..if u can, plz get the primary Sch certificate, try your school or state ministry of education
If u no later get am, use the one way u get... Some of those minor things. Grace fit make them overlook am
Wish us the best Bro I get issue with that primary school certificate, the public school I attend doesn't issue it again and I tried persuade the HM the last time I went, she said that is all they issue that it stand as certificate, immediately I contacted an officer, he said it is the same that I can use the one I get too, but coming here, a very senior colleague who have been to the screening twice or so was saying it disqualified. I'm confused sef |

sikowitz17: Many of you aren’t ready for this job... and that’s what pains me so much.. it’s you guys that’ll get it..you are asking if you’ll go to war so you can be safe!! There’s shortage of manpower! They can put you in finance as Dssc today and you’ll be happy... tomorrow you are in Hilux with AK47
I pray all of you will pay your dues in the northeast... enough of all these empty applications..
My brothers have died wearing that same uniform you just want to flex in and catch cruise with..
And if you get this job and dash from training it’s God that will punish you.
Some of you haven’t even come here to express intentions when the form wasn’t out.. we never saw you.. abi na silent readers most of Una be... form came out and wooooosh.. everybody want a piece of the pie..
The only thing that can keep you happy I’m this line of work is the passion and the joy you get... this job is a calling.. it’s not a job opportunity and it’s upsetting seeing that most of the guys applying are just doing so for fun...
I didn’t just wake up by to 4 to rant... somethings are happening underground... I’m hopeful my mutuals here that are truly passionate get it.. it’s officers like them id like to call brothers and coursemates.. actually I hate the question too, but there are many in the job who are more passionate than us, yet the posting of an officer to the NE make him become something else, you see him start entering toilet, fever and all other symptoms of sickness before realising that he have to obey the call no matter where he was posted. Forget about passion my brother, the truth be told, NE is not a place to think of going even though regardless of your type of commission, you will test NE either as warlord or administrative officer, all we pray for is his grace and protection on us anywhere we are... |

Ramirezsarki: Assumption is the mother of all fuckups..... Two things will guide u in ur quest to enroll, (1) the experience of those that have done it before and pass through the process (2) ur ability to take advice from (1)..... It will be a shame if a credential u can easily get, but u neglected be a reason for them to screen u out.... As little as a bvn printout not been stamp and sign almost got me disqualified last year not assuming, from what I was told by an officer, he said the two are the same, like kwara state, I was not issued that flsc, they said they only issue testimonial. |
