DatZ a statement from another lieutenant.
just free the senior man with his understanding, we pray to get the job. I don't even know if he realized that MWO salary is almost same if not same with a 2nd Lt own?

Going by past antecedence, army usually gives two weeks after shortlisting before commencement of screening but lets say they make it one week. Interview list would probably be out on or before 21st of November.

Registration closes on 28th September. Between 28th September and November 21st we have about 54 days( approximately 8 weeks) for the invitation and marking of the much awaited almighty weeding exams.

We should be expecting to write the exams on or before 24th of October.
Four weeks for sorting, lobbying and preparation of exam list and four weeks for marking and reassortment(insertions) of final interview list.

Come to think of it, could the update on the portal be our password for CBT, could the 8 weeks be for a proper conduct of the CBT?

Signal for screening don deh but that of exam no deh, naija..............
I used to be eager to see list before but this time I deh reason not checking at all, I no wan spoil the remaining days wey corona wan free me for 2020.
signal go don dey for the exam too, no opportunity to get it ni

Good evening potential officers.. in the process of preparing for the screening..it's best u go to a very lab to check ur HIV status, Blood pressure and Hepatitis B...these are the three factors village people use to destroy ones hope as army does not joke with it..once tested positive..u are out
Unlike HIV, the hepatitis B virus is easy to contract..100 times faster than that of HIV...many people are living with the virus, as it can be inherited from ones parents, or contracted at one point in ones life, but it's dormant and does not give symptoms....there is nothing as painful as being disqualified due to hepatitis B virus
The virus takes 1 to 3 months for its incubation process

Guys, as much as possible, avoid unprotected sex, even if it your trusted partner
Drink lots of water
Eat lots of fruits
Even if you test positive, it's not the end of the world...some people who tested positive, later tested negative after some months.
hmmmmm

Anybody that gets that signal for SSC, please share with us. It’ll be greatly appreciated
baba, you can use the dssc own you see to determine ssc too. It is a privilege sighting the signal it is not meant to be seen... Meanwhile, I don't understand why guys are looking for signal, priority should be how person would make the lists... Use thr dssc own to calculate or predict ssc activities.

Wad about subsequent promotion for SSC n RC, will it be d same?
I don't get you question. The only thing I know is that until those who will be in 2nd terma as at the time of training of ssc cadets are hang Lt that the ssc too will hand it, then subsequent rank will be going same time if all been equal.

No offense, initially, RC usually spend 6 months to reach Lt, (from 2nd Lt to Let), while SSC spends 2Yrs (automatically d r mates with terms 3 cadet officers, who will become Lt after 2 years [graduation] n 6 months [d promotion duration to reach Lt from 2nd Lt for RCs]). I actually think SSC snr them with 6 month gap, which really doesn't matter.

I heard dat RCs n SSCs now spend 2-3 years to reach Lt, so I see no reason why SSC47 will still be mates with terma 3. I feel dat d r now mates with Terma 5...

sikowitz17 posted a screenshot of part of this arm forces document dis year about their promotion rate
RC becomes full Lt 6months after their pop... Those that finished with ssc45 got their 2nd star early this year... Gentlemen, ssc are mates with their prep wingers which are (2nd termas) with 3months seniority, while 3rd termas are their senior with 6months.

If I get you correcting this course 47 are senior to 2nd terma with 3months and along the line they’ll become mate while terma 3 would be senior to course 47?
not the present 2nd terma oh but those who will hand their second bars by Oct, while those that will hang their 3rd bars by October are senior to the course 47 of ssc.

Lmao!! This isn’t so funny...no sir.. if Ben made it into course 45, they’d have been mates.. but this course 47, we won’t see his back
they are not even mate with course 45 because there is some months seniority there... 3rd terma senior any ssc trained that year with few months, while they will Senior the 2nd terma with 3months, but policy may change that will now make them to mate back.

While in the bathroom, I received an inspiration. i was thinking about all the missed opportunities and the years spent so far in search of my dream job. i had just gotten information that a close pal had just resumed DSS training, the same guy we attended the 2018 DSS exams. i was beginning to think like I had been forgotten by powers that be, then a thought poped in; what if I fall dead in the bathroom at that moment, what would matter to me most?
Then i realised, what will matter is whether i make heaven or hell. I also realised how God has favoured me over my contemporaries and kept me alive.
Officers, the list will come out just like it has in the past but no matter where you fall, please endeavour to glorify God for he is the best of planners.
Pray and press buttons if you can but accept whatever the outcome is in good faith.
Thanks to those colleagues who have lent me a helping hand am most grateful.
Wishing us all the very best.
Victory is From God Alone.
so love this piece...

We all know there are issues with this registration but I'll like to bring the attention of everyone to this.
1).Log into your account (for those that have successfully registered)
2) Select the Edit link on your profile.

Now I noticed that the site is bringing out different thing for different candidates.
In the 1st pic attached for candidate A only the field for first name was displayed(removed for privacy).

In the 2nd attached pic for candidate B you can see that all the data the person entered during registration was displayed in the person's profile which is not the case for the first candidate.

I feel something is not right somewhere prolly there is an issue somewhere for the 1st candidate or the 2nd candidate or from the portal itself.

So kindly check your's and tell us situation report with your profile, let's know if it's an issue that is worth escalating to the authorities...

Just because many see something as right doesn't mean it is actually right

A former commandant of the NDA once put a stop to this particular punishment. However, it continued after he left.
when? It was actually minimize sir, not a stop and not only in academy, even depot then.

Lol
it is part of it, your ability to endure makes you a gallant officer. You can't always be in the class, there is a section that it is purely academic. Did you think with all what these cadets are doing in academy, they are not better than some of the students at conventional universities. Please, clear of your mind, this is nothing by the time you are part of them. During my secondary school days in the barrack when army day was still army day of her glory, I do sleep while serving that particular job. In fact, I like it those days, it makes us stronger. As a military man, you should be able to endure in any condition you find yourself. It is sure for me, you can't be more intellectual than those who designed the curriculum and be more intellectual than the products of that curriculum even if such product studied same course as yours.

Stop all these kind talk, they have reason for every activities there.

it was never irresponsible of the personnel, he fired to safe himself and the community he found himself, unfortunately and as destined calls, the man died...

You can't rule predestination bro... Free will as to do with worldly stuff not something associated with destiny, many have been trying this commission of a thing with strong connection, they didn't get, yet those that only applied once without any connect sef got it, that is destiny, it have been predestined that they will get it ones while those that have been trying it without success predestination is that they will have to wait till when the time come if it is what is predestined they will get it.

I know of someone who died when NAF and thug are fighting, the bros was right in his room, it was a stray bullet that brought the man down, the bullet follow through his room window, was that is free will or the personnel that shot free will to kill him in his room?

On that matter of predestination, I don’t believe anything is predestined... like I said earlier on this thread, God gave us free will and the ability of choice... was Judas destined to betray Jesus? No.. it was written that a disciple will betray him... it could have been Peter or Paul.. it could have been anybody who allowed hate and greed into their hearts.. that’s why the Bible says guard your heart.
If you decide to jump off a 20 story building now or shoot yourself in the head, do you think you were destined to shoot yourself in the head? You chose to do it and whatever decisions we make, we must live with the consequences...Right now, you can choose to give up on your army ambition even if you were destined to be a great general... have you not heard of men of God saying when god first called them, they declined and the mantle moved to somebody else? I’ve heard and seen it.. the founder of a very popular church in Ogun state wasn’t the first person to receive the mantle.. somebody declined the call and it moved... it’s all choices and decisions..
somebody said it earlier that it depends on your faith and believe, left for me, I believe everything that would happen to man have been predestined, however, the way and manner the predestination will come to pass is left to you. Yesterday, 2 females soldier died in Ilorin, they were not on any mission oh, it was reckless driving by keke napep riders that killed them, what I want to bring out is that, is it their free will to die like that or the predestination?

That's the reason northerners are not really scared of death. Religion also play a major role coz if ure versed in Qur'an or have strong aqidah, you won't be scared of death rather you'll prepare yourself for the life after this world. And this is the same belief terrorist have and twist the words in their preaching to garner followers. An average terrorist is not afraid of death, infact that's what they want and that's what makes them dangerous.
My advice to all intending officers, it's good to have fear, fear of dying is not cowardice, in fact knowing how fragile our soul is can make us good soldiers.
Always have this at the back of your mind if you eventually make it to NE or theatre of operation, the terrorist wants to die, it is your duty to grant him his wish without losing your life.
you are absolutely correct
