Investment / How And Where Can She Invest Her Gratuity. Please Advise by Prosper123: 7:43am On Aug 09, 2022
A close relative of mine just retired and has received her gratuity. But she is confused on what, how and where to invest the money. She is not business oriented and would not want to invest in just any platform or organization that can fold up any day.

Is there any advise you can provide her with, like investment in bank or any real organization?
She has 3- 5 million she wants to invest for like a year or more.
Someone should help out.

1. Does she have NMBI Pin already?

2. Does she have employment permit and visa yet?

3. She may have to discuss with her employers when she gets there.

My advice was based on what my ex wife passed through before starting to work as a nurse here in Ireland. Even when she changed her place of work after two years, the new hospital did occupational health assessment for her again.

Hello Prosper123,

Just to add to what Expressbooking said.

See attached screenshot of the conversation with someone I know that works in one of the government hospitals here.

Also, please, look up and read the document in the highlighted on screenshot from the link below

https://www.hse.ie/eng/search/?q=Job%20offers%20with%20Hepatitis

You can decide to call anonymously, HSE or Nursing body here in Ireland to ask general questions and then bring up your queries. No need to disclose the persons real identity and location.

Goodluck to your friend.

Kind regards,

Louis

Thank you. This will make her happy. Thanks again. Very detailed

It's obvious u guyz don't know what u want..
U want obi, u want ur own country, all at the same time...una go come sm come dey play victim card..
If Nigeria is put in obi's hand and he failed Nigeria just like how over 50 lawmaker failed ur region, na una region go first come out and tell us how he is a bastard from anambra....
Nigeria no do una region bad, na una sef dey give una sef wahala...
So Nigeria is not a failed state already. The people managing it have been very good at it and the country is this way. Let us not deceive ourselves. Let truth be told, if there is still conscience in us.

The hospital will conduct a comprehensive medical check before she resumes work with them. It is called occupational health investigation. That's a big risk if she mistakenly infects a patient and the hospital will be sued heavily and they may loose operational licence
What can she do now?
Politics / Re: Why Do Igbos Hate Tinubu So Much? Can Someone Explain. by Prosper123: 3:44pm On Jul 30, 2022
workchopNG:

A simple question for you... Please mention at least one time the Yorubas or Hausa/Fulanis gave a block vote to an Igbo man in an election.

1999 and 2003: Igbos gave block vote to Obasanjo a Yoruba man even when Ojukwu was on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism.

2007: Igbos gave her block vote to Yaradua a Fulani man even when other Igbo names are on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism.

2011 and 2015: Igbos gave her block vote to an Ijaw man even when other Igbos are on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism.

2019: Igbos gave her block vote (95% actually) to a Fulani man even when other Igbos are on the ballot paper. That's our instinct of a better leader, not tribalism.

All these years, what flies in and outside the Internet space has always been... "Igbos don't love themselves," "Igbos are their own enemies," "Igbos are not united," etc.

This time, we've decided to vote an Igbo not because he's an Igbo man, but because he's perceived by many (not just Igbos) as the better option, the naysayers have turned it to "Igbos are tribalistic."

Now there comes 2023, Igbos and all other tribes including Yorubas, Hausa/Fulani, Ijaw, etc... (no matter their numbers), have decided to go with PO whom they perceived as a better option as usual, some people because of reasons best known to them choose to turn it to tribalism.

This is the first time since 1999 that Igbos are supporting an Igbo man. This is the first time almost all the youths are supporting this same one man. Why are you guys trying to bring tribalism into this?

This tribalism narrative didn't come up all these years Igbos were supporting other tribes, why now?

Again my question, can you tell me at one time when Yorubas have given an Igbo man just 5% of her votes?

Politics / Re: Which Corrupt Yoruba Politician(s) Do Yorubas Hate Like Igbos Hate OUK, Okorocha by Prosper123: 12:27pm On Jul 24, 2022

You see Yoruba, I don't know how to describe them, no wonder Hausa Fulani never trust them.
And does it mean that there is no corrupt and evil politician in Yoruba land that the Yorubas should speak up against? It's the question true and well meaning yorubas should be asking themselves. Must they not speak up against evil politicians because of the so called respect for elders or because it's ' one of us'.
Politics / Re: Which Corrupt Yoruba Politician(s) Do Yorubas Hate Like Igbos Hate OUK, Okorocha by Prosper123: 11:23am On Jul 24, 2022
It's true, For instance, the recent display of Orji Uzo Kalu in front of his house in the US with a friend, we saw how igbos attacked him first. They can't say because elders should not be respected and then they will not call him out. Elders should learn to respect themselves first by leading by example. If not, they should be be called out.

Stop the bullshitting.

UK is not Nigeria where you go about breaking the law.

Ekweremadu and Obeta are finished.

Know this and know peace.
You don't even know what black doctors are passing through in the UK now. If you knew you would never be happy at all. Including black nurses. Many are tired and trying to leave. The health care discrimination is getting high by the day

I don't know how shaming will impact someone that has no shame.Orji Kalu is back in the senate,Aregbesola,Okorocha etc.won election twice. And some Northern governors have Efcc cases.

As presently constituted,if you are not tainted before joining politics in Nigeria, you would definitely be when you join

But people should speak out first about wrong things they see even if the people rig themselves in.
