jarkbauer: This is a hypothesis
Uber and Taxify business may become less lucrative in many months to come especially in Lagos.
LASG is investing heavily in transportation By the time Danfos are taken out of the road demand for Uber will reduce. leave the future and make money now. This reminds me of when I was into trucking. Govt came up with moving containers thru d rail. After the first batch of containers where moved to the north from apapa, that train never came back again. As a biz man, never be scared of change, mek do of now...the future is now |

Coolbenzino: Market dull nowadays. Una still get mind dey blow grammar here. I pity those on rental. it seems u are in the wrong market. Position well bro.guys, let us learn how to make gud use of boost on Uber. Yesterday, there was up to 1.8* boost. I drove a client from phase 1 to ojodu and it was 56oo after Uber deductions. I had my destination trip but I did not use it cos there was no boost around mainland. So I went back empty to the land of opportunity. Getting to VI where boost was 1.8x, I hit another one to lbs. abt 4000. Seems no boost there. I came back to Vi empty. Put my destination trip to Ikeja... Learn how to calculate this work with Uber. If I don't see any meaningful boost on Uber I do Taxify. Read the Uber boost table a nite before u set out to work so as to position well. Today is another great day on Uber and even Taxify. Learn how to sacrifice some fuel in other to position well cos time is attached to these promotion s.

Hide my face? What for? I will not sir. Maybe you should hide yours. If you felt like my contribution was irrelevant to you, you had the choice to ignore my post and move on. Your kind of post is what makes a public forum like this one an avenue for an ignoramus like you believe you have something to say because of your economic circumstance. My post was civil and did not warrant your comment. Nigerians are the most educated in the USA with 23% with a higher degree. That's way higher than the American population. If you want to continue in your ignorance and encourage it, that is your choice and you are free to exercise it. Things are tough in Nigeria, that we all know. It doesn't not equate ignorance or stupidity. Thank you. many are mad but few are roaming |

Dovehorizon: You guys should tone it down with the uncultured words thrown from left to right. I see nothing wrong in asking a rider his/her destination. Your safety is Paramount regardless of surge and whatever u stand to gain. he is one of those boys that will ride with u in the nite without paying u or even give u a fake transfer. JK768: Yes , the business is somehow, risky, yesterday an area boy around Iju ishaga used stick and broke my windscreen. He was walking in front of me and the area is crowded , my bumper hit him a little. I was saying sorry and begging him from inside the car before he hit my windscreen. At the time I thought it was a small thing. Now the lines is so many and every where. So my brother at least you went home with your car intact. Because of this issue yesterday, I come dey think whether God really dey or care . . imagine what people driving for others can be going through, Oga may not hear that one. Cheers! wetin u go do for iju? |

Coolbenzino: And I picked a rider from unilag to apapa at 9:25pm. We jammed traffic on apapa bridge. As I write the rider has absconded with my money while in traffic and I'm still here. This business ehh. I just wanna go home. Worst experience. u still the learn this biz. Why didnt u ask him where he was going to by 9.25pm. I dont go to apapa, badagry, ajah ibeju lekki, ikorodu, igando, ikotu abulegba etc. If i forgot to ask u where u are going to which i kw i wont, if u enter the vehicle,i ask can i start the trip with my phone in my hands and i will ask instantly pretending to hav started the trip, so where are we heading to? If i hear abule egba hmmm ,i will tell u politely that i cant get there. I hope those wharf rats dont show u pepper. |

iamspeedracer: On my home this evening I set destination from yaba and I got a rider at Maryland which I dropped at ICM. Rider didn't want to pay for flat rate parking fee so I had to reverse from the entrance of the mall to Awolowo road. Lol it wasn't funny. A second request came in and I was happy only for me to call the rider and ask for her destination and she said she was going to Ago Palace way. How does Ago Palace and Iyana paja correlate? Drivers must really be low on uber
