I think the data from namebio is showing just 10 because it's not a paid version.

Geo or brandables etc to me does not really mater, just good names. people sell geos for high four and five figures always likewise bradables.

I used to have about 2k mostly hand reg but i have dropped a greater number now to about 500 and will still drop more. Paying for renewals to names that you are not sure can be difficult but when you buy a name for 500 or more, u cant drop it.

what i have now is doing well with less renewals.

Having a day job or another biz can help so much. with this you can reject offers and be patient for sale.

Aftermarket: GoDaddy, SnapNames, dropcatch

Cost: very very very expensive but there is a way. When u sell a domain for 1500 upwards, do not take profit just bid for a good name and try and win. If u buy a name for 2888, you can sell it for 19k. List and forget. Give it time. I giveb 5yrs but most times they sell so fast. While you are waiting, still be doing you handreg thing. Sale will come.

When u get to auction, be patient. Do not be in a haste to buy. Lol .You may target a name and on the last day, you won't win it, is ok, wait again until another good name comes. Names comes every now and then. Do your research, have criteria you look at b4 biding on a name. Remove sentiment and let what u bid on meet all your criteria. Pray

Quick one pls, when one purchases an aged Aftermarket domain with GoDaddy as holding the domain(registrar) how do one enable the 'FastTransfer' & 'SedoMLS' options on GoDaddy. What lander works best for you(MO, LTO+MO, BIN etc) & some examples of Aftermarkets to look into and cost implications. Thank you.

Talking about Aftermarket, godaddy,dynadot,snapnames, dropcatch .

Cost; very very competitive I must say. So when u sell a domain for 2999 usd, great. Use all to buy a domain, just one domain and list 19888 and wait. I give mine 5yrs but most times, they sell fast. Then repeat and but 5 more and grow from there.

For me, if your buyer is from the US and you have a good domain that you believe in, something Registered in atleast 10 other ext or can be less but good domain, I don't use MO just Bin and Lto. See, all thses US companies are big and rich and
let me tell you now, i only buy domains that most of my prospective end users have received funding.My LTO now is just 10mths max. For fast transfer, you will get a message to opt in from Godaddy after 60days. I don't list with sedo. For the ones I hand reg with dynadot, you will still get a message to opt in but if I don't get that message, I tend to delete my listing in Afternic after 60days and list again,then the message for fast transfer comes in fast.

Sales Report:

Is been a while I reported sales here. I have been dropping alot of my hand reg domains and have been gradually picking up better names and this has been a great move for me.

For Purchase prices of these domains, see namebio.
studyinfrance met all my purchasing criteria so I went for it. But thereafter,I realised that my buyer may not come from America. I always like my buyer come from USA. But with God and Luck, it sold so fast than expected.

Hoseking was purchased by the .net owner.

The one on LTO, was priced at 5k for long but was not sold. A week after increasing the price, it sold for that amount.

Selling domains hasn't been that easy,so you must always change your strategy especially now that Dan is closing down.

For me, it has been God, good domains and Luck.

My advice: when you sell a domain for 1k, do not take profit, go to the Aftermarket and get a good domain and price well and wait.

People go to farm here but get killed. Cattle graze on peoples crops here and what makes you thing you will be an exception. Our roads are not safe etc

2. Given that you set minimum offer as 499, what is the typical price you'd counter with if you received that offer amount for a domain listed for 988 or 1288?

1, as fresh with same email address. This meks d work easy.it works very well.

2, Depending on the person or company that made the offer, I add 100, 200 etc on the offer.
