We should know there's is problem when an infantry trained soldier rises to become Chief of Army staff.

The quality of the Nigerian Army started deteriorating the moment the Northern led govt in the 60's lowered admission requirements to accommodate their less educated people to enroll in the NA, which Buhari, IBB, Abacha and the rest are beneficiary.

Check the history when the British are still coordinating the affairs of Nigeria, the Top military Chiefs are Southerners and it's because they are recruited on merit.
Igbos were the president until 1967 so what are you talking about?

it's not even the constitution the average Nigerian mentality is bad and scary to examine... When it comes to conquest they are deadly... When it comes to envy extremely diabolical.., power they have pull him down syndrome to effect that which is endemic by default once u are a Nigerian..

I once was denied Nigerian students presidency in Europe because I wasn't a full blooded yoruba.. That my mom wasn't yoruba and a full blooded yoruba was wanted..

I'm Nigerian but my kids were not born in Nigeria so what does that mean? Perhaps even a more stiff resistance because their mum isn't nigerian?

I know all the aforementioned nonsense will come to play and there will be ignorant followers..
Why are you deceiving yourself? You are ibo.

There is no crime in the constitution of Nigeria called "hate speech". Everybody has freedom of speech and expression. If you don't like what one group says, don't listen to them.
You should be happy that the agitators are only using hate speech

Other groups like Boko haram, Niger Delta militants and herdsmen don't have any time for hate speech, their AK47 does the speech for them.
I hope you would be happy when other groups start using direct hate speech against igbos in the name of freedom of speech.

The agitation for a separate country must start with the people. The will of the masses is far more important than the will of a few elected politicians. Whether the through the right channel or not, people have the right to agitate for s separate country, infact, it is the agitation of the people that makes political leader to bow to popular will
No one is disputing your right to agitate. But hate speeches can cause serious crisis and that's what any sensible govt will frown about. Keep matching, protesting but stop causing hatred between people.

Your point about Igbo leaders not doing what is expected to achieve Biafra is noted but its not surprising.
But when you say the agitation is fueled by or as a result of hate and tribalism , you are very wrong. There are people who know that Igbo's must have a country to call their own but are not hating or thinking about the Yoruba or Hausa as you are assuming.
According to you , every Igbo that wants Biafra is fueled by hate for the Yoruba or Hausa.
Well, most online igbo commentators make it about Yoruba and Hausa hatred. Even Nnnamdi Kanu had to spew a lot of hate to gain popularity. You can achieve your biafra by political dialog and I will be glad to see it come through.

One time you say the agitation is fueled by hate and tribalism. I tell you every group has right to freedom of association . Next thing you say its your leaders that don't support the agitation.
It is fueled by hate and tribalism judging from the fact that you only abuse people from other tribes instead of making your political leaders fight for what you want the appropriate way. Or can you tel me any move by igbo leaders towards achieving biafra in the last 40 years?

The way I don't take biafra agitation serious is the same way I don't take SW leaders who say they want restructuring serious. If you want restructutring, table a motion for it in the legislative chamber. Either it goes through or not, I will know they are serious about it.

Wembley was built by the central Govt NOT state. Secondly, Like I stated before, it is NOT the duty of govt. If they choose to build fine, but don't attack them for not completing what is not their duty in the first place. Thanks.
What does it matter if it was built by the federal or state govt? And what's wrong if the attention of govt is being called into one of its abandoned projects?
PoliticsRe: Onikan Stadium: Another Abandoned Project? - AutoReportNG by ProudDick: 10:59am On Apr 02, 2019

Our take? It's not the duty of Govt to build club stadiums but nevertheless, go and get the governments position on the issue instead of this one sided report.
It's not a club stadium. However, clubs make use of it and pay the govt just like the Wembley stadium in London, owned by the govt and used by clubs.

So you wanting a nation of your own translates to hating people you currently share country with ? You see why white people don't think highly of us black people.
Stop quoting me if you are ignorant. Wanting your own country does not equate spewing hatred on other tribes. Non of your own political leaders believe in biafra or has taken any step towards it restoration. If you want your own country, go through the appropriate channel. Is this how Scotland, Catalonia, etc are going about ti? Learn how they do it and see why the whites see you as animals.

Pictures like this gives me a lot of joy. That people will stand up for their freedom in the face of oppression.

The struggle continues
Who is oppressing you? Tribalism will not allow you guys to face reality. The only oppressors in Nigeria are your politicians. Even your fight for biafra is not supported by your politicians. But you will blame Yoruba and Hausa for your predicament. Any agitation fueled by hate and tribalism is doom to fail.

Guy, do you really want to do this?

Are you really sure you wanna embark on this apparent futile journey of yours?

Cos I'll start busting your bobbles starting from your locality.

I'll joyfully use your parameters as yardstick in elucidating your stunted knowledge and unpardonable ignorance.

If you're really in for this, throw forth a challenge by simply quoting me.
What parameters do you have other than your delusion? Saying 95% of Yorubas outside the Sw are into federal civil service shows the level of your stupidity. How many people are even employed as federal civil servants in Nigeria? Are they up to 5% of the total population?
PoliticsRe: Northern Hospitality At Its Best. by ProudDick: 3:03pm On Apr 01, 2019
FortuneDeGreat:
95% of yorubas outside their region are on federal civil service, no real visible, tangible and concrete investment to show for their presence.

Unlike the Igbos, you feel their presence anywhere they settle in terms of commercial and social investments.
So don't get it twisted and don't divert the focus.
How many people are on federal civil service in Nigeria? Btw, there are more igbos on federal civil service according to the list released in 2015. I only see igbos in markets. They are not into any investment other than buying and selling and remitting their profit home. Yorubas are into a large range of commercial activities. I guess your illiteracy makes you think only buying and selling are commercial activities. Yorubas are into IT, auto repair, computer engineering, building, furniture making, fashion designing, a whole lot of commercial activities I can't mention. These are some list of Yoruba investment all over Nigeria; Glo, banks, flour mills, etc, not some one man buying and selling business.

What do you mean by 'invest'? Yorubas live in every states in Nigeria. So your investment is what I don't understand.

Wawa. I can see you have never been to the north. There are more Yorubas in the north than ibos. Yorubas are into the nooks and crannies of the north and you might not even be able to differentiate a Yoruba from a northerner in the north. Ibos are confined to a particular location selling their goods along major streets and markets. Yorubas just don't go about making noise.

Olu20090:
The fact is Hausa people in general are good people until they were conquered by Fulani, which started the indoctrination responsible for the menace you see today amongst them. If you pay attention to the so-called three major tribes in Nigeria, Igbos and Hausa (not Fulani) are actually the most patriotic and believe genuinely in One Nigeria. Go to Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Rivers, Imo, you will see Hausa people who are doing business there, have lived there for 20 plus years, speaks Igbo fluently. You see the same dynamics with Igbos in the North and both Igbos and Hausas in the West. But the cancer of the three major tribes is afonja. They don't travel out of their region, highly tribalistic, they are scared to leave their region because of their wicked nature; think others think like them, you will never see them in the North, nor in the East in high number. Yet they will sale you snake oil that they believe in one Nigeria.
You wawa piglets will never fail to show how unfortunate you are. What brought Yoruba into this? And doing your stupidity under a Yoruba moniker because you are ashamed of who you are. There are more Yorubas in the north than ibo you fool.

Bro forget talk, investing in Igboland is highly competitive cos the Igbo culture encourages competition not monopoly hence the Yoruba's cannot withstand that.
There is nothing in Igboland to invest in. Igbos are running away from their land and you want Yorubas to go there and invest? Igboland is unstable because they have been singing biafra since 1967. Yorubas are investing inthe most competitive countries in the world. There is nothing competitive in igbo land. While igbos are more into buying and selling, Yorubas are more into workmanship.

Smart move. They can't say it was hacked cos that is a crime and hence the evidence won't be admissible in court.

But there is another problem. The whistleblower must be known otherwise this new story won't be taken seriously. Someone is about to be made infamous. Whoever the person may be, I know that his/her job will be on the line, and risks being sent to jail as well. In a sane country, the person will also need to be in protective custody to keep him safe. I don't see that happening in Nigeria.

Goodluck
