Interesting that they had to fly to Leicester when London is just an hour and half from Leicester.
Given that they probably had to land at EMA, I do not see any saving in terms of time.

Anyways, back to Moses. Good to see you doing well at both club and national levels

There's nothing to fear. We're already in that age. This is industry where I work on a daily basis and you'll be amazed at what's being developed. It's exciting!

OP, self driving cars won't be much of a problem. In fact I know for a fact that The next step for autonomous vehicles is to have them all connected to a network just like you have computers on The internet. I know a research team working on this.

The fears are already within us. We already have intelligent home systems where you can connect your home electronics via your mobile phones. Your fridges are self aware and can warn you when you're running short of items. You can control your heating from anywhere in the world. These are already available. Home assistants like Amazon echo are now part of our lives.

Someday many will leave the cities and head for the quietness and sanity in rural areas and villages...lol

thats not the point. the point is being in a country where those ruling dont look like you. its not good. even the bible tells you so, seeing as you quoted Jesus and God I assume you regard the bible

jeremiah 30 vs 21 Their leader will be one of their own, and their ruler will come from among them.
To everyone, his own. You've made your choice.
In the same Bible, Joseph, a Jew became Prime Minister, Daniel another Jew became governor in another land. Moses was prince in Egypt. I can go on and on.
And even in our own time, Obama a Kenyan is currently president of the strongest country in the world; There are countless Nigerians who are MPs and councillors in the UK and so on.
Again, the earth's the Lord's.

Just walk according to God's plan whether it's in Nigeria,Ghana, Kenya, UK, Germany,US and there's no height you cannot rise to.

thats the problem. integrating into the society. well i will put it like this ? there are some people who are very aware of everything happening around them and they feel they are created as supreme beings and are very aware of the unspoken inferior status placed on minorities especially blacks. these type of people are spiritually aware of their sorroundings. these type of people are all returning home to nigeria, and if you are very aware you will discover there is a brain gain back into nigeria in the past 5 years. like everybody is returning back to nigeria. you will notice tens of thousands of people are returning to nigeria each year from america and europe. these are the types returning

then you have the type of people who are totally spiritually blind and are unaware and the only thing that matters to them is just being abroad and having food and house in a ' civilized ' society. now these types will die there and will never return

so these are the two types of people. now with regards to 25 - 30 year olds ? my advice ? if at this age you are not already in europe or america ? just forget it. unless you are a rich person going to buy a second home there to go and relax. if you are going to hustle ? this the wrong time to go. there is deep recession and anger everywhere and especially in america the police are taking out their anger on black people. so if you are 25 - 30 and still in naija ? just stay there. no point travelling out at all. but hey ? this is just my advice, live your life how you want but you will surely come on nairaland frontpage to cry about how europe is hard lolzzz
The earth's the Lord's and it's fullness thereof.

My take is that where you're located is a function of your role is God's overall design. That one is born in Nigeria or anywhere else in the world does not limit your life journey to that geo location. One will face challenges everywhere in the world, just locate your calling and face life.
God has blessed me with opportunities here and I'm grateful. I've friends that God has blessed with opportunities in Nigeria or evenue in other countries - Ghana, Kenya, US, and do on. Foreigners also go to Africa and settle there. They found their calling and stuck to it irrespective of the challenges.

The interesting thing is you can even get opportunities in this country just because you're not Caucasian.

lol yeah i left a long time ago. am coming back home to settle this year though insha Allah God willing. thanks for the info. i need that service when i get to naija. how is germany ? very nice place if you go to major multicultural cities like munchen, stuttgart, dusseldorf, etc. its a very great place to be if you are young and have no care in the world. but as you get older you start to feel lonely there and you want to be around people who look like you. so if you are under 25 ? its a great place. if you are over 30 ? not so great. unless the only thing that matters to you in life is food and an organized society. but if you are more into culture and eating african foods and going to african parties and just living a great life culturally and spiritually then you will want to stay away from germany or europe. i hear ghana is good
What if you're between 25 and 30? smiley

England is good though. Organised and you can actually aspire to great heights as long as you're ready to integrate into the society

Word of advice :
If you're bleeding from a deep cut or see someone bleeding, apply pressure to the cut immediately and seek medical attention.
The boy would have lived if only he went straight to the hospital or someone had applied first aid

From daily mail:
2004-05 - two points clear before the defeat at Old Trafford that ended their unbeaten run in October. By January they were 10 points behind Chelsea. Finished second.

2005-06 - Never really in the title race - three wins in a row to end the season saw them pip Spurs to fourth place on the final day.

2006-07 - Never in the title race - by the time they went on a seven-game unbeaten run to end the season, they were already 22 points off the pace - it did ensure them a Champions League place though.

2007-08 - A win over Birmingham would have kept Arsenal top of the league in January, but Eduardo's leg-break, William Gallas' temper, and the late penalty are all the stuff of legend. By the time they lost to Chelsea two months later they were six points off the pace, while defeat at Old Trafford in April made it nine. Finishing with four wins in a row meant the final gap was only four points, but the title was well out of reach.

2008-09 - In January Arsenal were within touching distance of the leaders but three consecutive draws against Everton, West Ham and Tottenham saw them fall too far off the pace, and they were never in the race again that season.

2009-10 - Top of the league on March 20, Arsenal drew with Birmingham and Man City and lost to Spurs, Wigan and Blackburn in their next six fixtures. By May they were 11 points off the pace.

2010-11 - Before their Carling Cup final defeat by Birmingham, Arsenal were a point off the top. They won just two of thier last 11 league games and eventually finished fourth.

2011-12 - Out of the title race before they'd ever really been in it and were 10 points behind Tottenham in February before a startling run saw them overtake their rivals and hold on until the final day, denying them Champions League football.

2012-13 - Already 15 points off the pace by the start of December, Arsenal were seven points behind Tottenham, and in fifth, when they lost the north London derby in early March. But eight wins and two draws in their last 10 games saw them get Champions League football, yet again, by a point over their rivals.

2013-14 - Arsenal topped the league almost constantly throughout the first half of the season, by as many as seven points at the end of November. Even after conceding six goals at Manchester City in December they ended the year on top. They were top going into the game at Anfield that saw them destroyed 5-1, but by the time Chelsea hammered them 6-0 a month later they were seven points off the pace. They finished the season with five straight wins, but by then the title was a three-way fight between Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City.

2014-15 - Chelsea had run away from Arsenal by Christmas, and while the Gunners had an excellent second half of the season - winning 13 of their 19 games to finish third, it was never going to be enough.

Note how we always seem to find a way to rally round when fighting for fourphy but always seem to struggle when it comes to maintaining top spot?

NO!

Kelechi must stick close to the big boys - Aguero, Silva, Yaya, De Bruyne, Sterling etc. Play with them, learn from them, compete with them and develop himself amongst them especially now that he is seeing game time. So that even if they want to sell him, a big club will come.

If he do mistake go championship now na where them go sell am go o. I don talk ma own.
I guess we have differing views on how to develop a young player. To be fair, I don't know who's right or wrong. I just feel that 20/21, a player like Kelechi should be playing regularly an opportunity he may not get at City.
Look at Afobe, Wilshere, Ramsey, Szczesny, Bellerin.
Then look at Mikel who despite his initial potential , seems satisfied with sitting on Chelsea's bench and has been there for years.

naija no dey carry last.......kelechi met some of those players at city and he outshine them.......fingers cross.
I personally still think Kelechi will be better off on loan at another premiership or a championship side.
Although he's still young, in a season or two from now, he'll need regular football which I doubt he'll get at City (if they continue with their current philosophy ).
Unless Kelechi is satisfied with the bit part role he's getting at City.

Thanks for the compliment smiley

All the qualities you listed about Giroud are all correct but we were one man down yesterday and we had to keep shape. Taking out any of the wingers would have put pressure on the full back and all Chelsea would have done is to pile pressure on that side of our team.

If we were playing 11 v 11, that's a different story.

My brother I only hope he will turn out shrewd.

He is quite cheap @ £5mil, with experience in Europe at a title winning club. Its a gamble.

Guys like Leicester's Vardy and Kante came for £1m, Mahrez £500k. All three have been effective. Lets see if this will be a Wenger magic.
Elneny has a powerful right foot. Expect long distance shots.
I don't expect to see much of him this season as Coquelin will soon be back and Flamini / Arteta will fill the gap in the mean time.

Flamini is injured for today's game so we may see Chambers in midfield

Despite all the sticks he gets, Wenger has shown remarkable consistency in keeping with the best. With the huge shakeups expected in all other big clubs Wenger seems to be the only one immuned.

Take am easy grin
Wenger is a good coach, one of the best in the world but you have to also note that most of what we have seen Arsenal do over the past two seasons (this season inclusive ), is exactly what the Wenger Out Boys and some other fans have been screaming for years:

1. Remember when we had no plan B and all we did was pass,pass,pass,... (If you don't remember, watch Man Utd's next game). Even when we needed to score a goal, we refused to let go of our passing game?
These days we shoot from outside the box, we even throw Per upfront sometimes to join in the attack. This is exactly what fans have been asking for

2. Remember when end of game stats will read Arsenal 90% possession but 0 goals? How SAF used to concede possession to us only for Rooney and Nani and Ronaldo to hit us on the counter? Remember how frustrating it was? Look at us now? Arsene has realised we can't be Barcelona all the time and needed to vary our match strategy. Something fans have been screaming about

3. Finally, remember how Arsene used to be so fixed on some players and he'd refuse to bench/sell them even in the face of horrible displays? To the point that some of the players were called "Arsene's long lost sons". I'm sure you remember. That same Arsene fired Szczesny in spite of his quality just because he wasn't consistent. Arsene brought in two world class keepers just to keep Szczesny on the bench! What did Arsene do when Giroud misbehaved last season and when he was off for early this season? He benched him. The same Arsene Wenger! When Ozil didn't perform too well on the left, Wenger moved him to midfield! The same Wenger. This is the kind of ruthlessness the people you call WOBs have been asking for for years now.

I admit a few WOBs take it over the top but from above, they weren't wrong on some of their views. Perhaps they were a bit harsh in the way they presented it.

Long live the WOBs, Long live Arsene, Long live Arsenal

grin grin grin
