The most powerful tool I have yet used is the use of Sounds while fixing my attention on the spiritual area.

There is the "Ohm" sound used by Buddhists and the HU sound mostly shared by Eckankar my current spiritual school.

Okay, so I started my spiritual journey last year, I tried meditating and I saw the impact, it was nice. But I wasn't consistent and the type of environment I find myself in doesn't make it easy to focus most times. So I thought, okay, when I leave my environment I'll start my spiritual journey afresh. But I keep craving that deep knowledge almost everyday, so I've decided that I shouldn't have to wait till I leave now, I could learn now and practice later.

So far, all I've done is meditating.

The word 'sorry' is a word I can easily say or write down like I'm breathing in and out oxygen. I know I'm not wrong at all reason why I've refused to apologize. It's clear you don't understand my point of view.

He said "I have refused to learn how to cook, so I'd appreciate my wife's food" (He didn't exactly put it this way but you know, it's similar)

This doesn't make sense to me because in a way he's saying "If I learnt how to cook I won't appreciate my wife's food". He could have mentioned other reasons that made sense in a way like "I don't have the time for it" or "I've been feeling lazy to learn". That reason he stated earlier sounds odd. I feel a man can learn how to cook and still appreciate his wife's food.
