Mujtahida: Is that not the trap the Kaduna declaration put those Arewa guys into? While I do not support them I realise how difficult it is to avoid such reactionary rhetorics. But you know as does nearly everyone the sustained hate speeches that Kanu churned out on radio Biafra against them, against the Yoruba, against Nigeria like a musician waxing songs. Yet nobody from the East condemned it. But you see how even in the North and from all over Nigeria people roundly condemned the Kaduna declaration and those who sought to justify it. There is always this tendency for conspiracy of silence among Ibos in situations where they should rise up to condemn on of their. This is one of the justifications the Arewa boys gave, silence of the Igbo majority, creating an impression of acceptance. It' still boil down to We Vs the rest of Nigeria mentality. |

laudate: You saw how the chap you responded to, was quick to overlook the tribalism in Onyeama and Azikiwe's comments, and ascribe it to a desire to motivate their ethnic group, in the area of education. Can you see the hypocrisy? If such comments came from a member of another ethnic group, the spin he would have put on it would have been different, even if it was uttered in a similar context. God bless you |

reality1010: Very funny.I can't tell why some of you will ever want to rob others your flaws. If Sarduna and Awo were tribalists dat doesn't mean Zik was too.Zik was a pan Africanist even when he domesticated his efforts on Nigeria's independence. Let's be sincere for once. A Zik of Africa that eventually turned to Owelle of Onitsha is not a tribalist? When then did he chase Eyo Ettah ? You Ibos are just impossible |

Honestly speaking the yorubas on Nl are far more intelligent than the Ibos. Look at how theyve answered the OP without any pint of insults, but let the table be to the other side and you will see ibos do nothing to the topic but insult every one with differenr opinion from morning till night Its more fun on NL when the yorubas are in the driving seat of discussion Kudos to the yorubas |

It just a matter of time, for Nnamdi Kanu to drop a bombshell that will kill whatever sympathy he still enjoy among liberal igbos. You just need to carefully listen to him talk and you will easliy discern that he is a disaster waiting to happen with his careless and loose talks Anambra election will put Kanu in his place |

Omofunaab2: Lol, same people that had about 400 priests protesting in Imo state because a man from onitsha was made bishop of a diocese in Imo state.
Abi the same abia state that sacked non-indigenes from their civil service whereas an abia indigene is currently a permanent secretary in Ogun state.
The Yoruba leaders in both PDP and APC needs to be careful, they need to discontinue their "sophistication" agenda which has allowed many igbos aspire for political posts in lagos...
Imagine these people questioning the use of Yoruba language in the lagos state house of assembly, see the audacity sef.
Yoruba politicians in Apc and Pdp should not sacrifice the Yoruba ownership of lagos for party politics This is one of the reason we should never forgive people like Bode George and his cohorts in lagos pdp. |
