For one property own by an igbo man in lagos, there are more than 100 of such owns by yorubas #Fact Just go to alausa bureau of lands to make your findings For every ibo man issued with a CofO in lagos, there are over 10,000 that would have been issued to yorubas #Fact go to bureau of lands to ask questions. afonjaheadhunt: My brother very nice submissions you have there.
Also another thing I did not add is that if Yorubas attempt to forcefully eject Igbo's by force nobody can guarantee that Igbo's will leave without a fight, cause Igbo's will definitely hold massive protest, seek justice, seek compensation and might even go as far as defending their lives and properties, should that happen 3 things are bound to happen
1. A Large chunk of Lagos will go down in ruins and Lagos will be in chaos, insecure and unsafe for business. 2. Should Yorubas overpower the Igbo's Igbo's will leave and Lagos will be in Ruins and left with a watered down economy. 3. Should Igbo's over power Afonjas or resolved through dialogue after a brief conflict then it will see Lagos divided between Igbo's and Yorubas same way you find in South Africa, between the white and the blacks, same as it was with German too.
Which ever way it plays out Both parties will loose and might have to pick up from the scratch again, the truth is this matter is really sensitive and Yoruba leaders understand this and are threading with caution however the lazy Yoruba youths are riding on wishes and thinking with greedy emotions.
One thing that is sure is that Biafra will witness massive investment from Igbo's in Nigeria and grow at an alarming speed of light. Wishful and visceral thinking without any iota of brain application When you get your biafra you will see how things go. There is absolutely no point telling you what will happen. Just look at where lagos is in yorubaland and you will see the disaster waiting to happen to you just in case you think of engaging yorubas in violence on their land You ibos are not blessed with foresight |

Olabestonic001: You know next to nothing about the Yoruba race! If you do, you'll know that all your insinuations are hypothetical. I can authoritatively tell you that if IPOB spearheads the breakage of Nigeria, the anti-Igbo policies the Yorubas will spearhead will simply make you wonder what a sort of people we are! The reason is simple; we see Nnamdi Kanu as a prime enemy of the Yoruba race and the fact that you people will allow him to spearhead your exit will qualify to guilty-by-association. If you must know, Yoruba won't react to sentiments or cajoling. The Yorubas knows something is very wrong with Nigeria but the fact that Kanu (speaking the mind of some of you) dragged us into your madness will haunt. I know us well; we can be sheepish but we detest Kanu style and are ready to help teach everyone who believe in his style of agitation a lesson that will reverberate through out their existence. MayorofLagos is a bona-fide Yoruba guy, he is just looking at the issues from another perspective. |

Yyeske: kanu wouldn't lecture those IPOB miscreants about this, how are you sure the Nigerian government would even grant Biafrans visas since they voted to leave It would be very difficult to grant Igbos visa into Nigeria in the first 10-15 years, but with time, such tight immigration control will gradually ease. However, there will still be certain restrictions on the economy that Igbos may be barred from and some areas in Nigeria will look like a No-go area for them. Igbos bounced back in Nigeria through commerce and trading and the advantage of Nigeria population and landmass that allowed them to expand all across the nation, it will be difficult to have such advantage either in Biafra or Nigeria again. I wish them good luck as they go though |

PointB: The rhetorics must go side by side with whatever negotiation is happening in the background.
It's good cop / bad cop strategy. No option should be taken of the table.
When Moses was negotiating the exit of Israelite from Egypt, the 10 Plagues played prominent role. The last was the straw that broke the camel's back. Asking Kanu to stop what's working so far is to take a foot off the pedal. The threat of Chaos must be real and perceived to be real. Only then will Nigeria politicians act! Or why do you think everyone is talking Biafra now if not because a 'crazy man' is holding a lit matches close to huge kegs of gun powder? This is one of the prominent TAN member on NL back then. Mujtahida: And it is dangerous. It brings out the beast in all of us. If only we are strong and mature enough to deal with our own Bleep ups. But we don't. Hausa man will never condemn boko harm because of the Igbo man. Igbo man will never condemn evil in their midst because of the Hausa man. By the time either party reacts to the conspiracy of silence of the other it evokes so much bad blood and the rift continues to widen. Let me give an example: at the risk of being misunderstood as justifying the mayhem and butchering of the Igbos (which I ought not to do and cannot not do and I am not doing) let me say this as one who understands what in law is called 'chain of causation'. If for whatever it was, Ironsi had swiftly executed Ifeajuna, Nzeogwu, Ademilegun, Okafor and all the plotters of the 1966 coup then I can safely say that there would not have been a counter coup and possibly the massacre of the Igbos would have been obviated.
Our parents understood this principle when we were growing up. If you disrespected a Neighbour or family friend and that person comes to report you, they usually will discipline you right there in front of the person hurt by your behaviour so much sometimes it would be that person who will plead for your absolution. By an instinctive understand our parents knew that this kind of action satisfied and placated the god of vengeance that lives in every human heart. But today we twist things and try to justify evil just so to spite others who are affected by our evil acts. The results has been consistent:violence, hatred, animosity and endless conflict. Forgive me, I tend to write too much Not at all, I enjoy reading from you. Let me tell you one honest truth here (I know it's not right but I do it often), you are one of the few members here that I click the LIKE button on their comment, even without reading the comment yet, I only go back to read after then. Even though as a Yoruba tribalist (I'm not ashamed to say I'm one), I don't usually agree with some of your neutral stand, nevertheless I still enjoy your sense of comportment in the face of provocation. |

jomonic: Kanu is very well educated and responsible. He is fighting a just cause. Majority of Igbo are fed up with the Igbo Abuja crew who take up government appointment for their own personal aggrandizement. The massive support of Kanu is a testament to the feeling of disenchantment with the Igbo Abuja crew. These are people that will identify with the masses only when they fall out of favor with Abuja. That is the crew that share the loots of criminal leadership with their overlords among the Hausa and Yoruba. It is because of the activities of this crew that uninformed Nigerians will come to tell you that we should let things be because every Nigerian is marginalized. Stop writing nonsense!!!
