seunmsg: Go and read my previous post on the subject matter before jumping into my mention. I am not with the president in this and I have stated that clearly enough. In addition, the president doesn't even have powers to approve such huge contract. It is within the approval threshold of the federal executive council and not the president. I was about to put you in mention just to bring your attention to this. Honestly, it's becoming more difficult to defend this President. |

discusant: @Reuben Abati,
You have found your voice which you lost as spokesman of president Jonathan when Lai Mohammed was inventing all falsehoods against Jonathan presidency.
Abati hardly disputed Lai's lies against Jonathan, even though Abati was in the right position and right one to counter Lai's lies. Abati was more interested in power returning to his Yoruba/Hausa combination through APC. Please I beg you in the name of whatever you worship as your god, don't bring that tribal rubbish into this otherwise sane and civil discussion. |

obinna4Jesus: An expose on the happenings in our honeypot. I think it is inappropriate for PMB to be the minister of petroleum, chairman of the FEC and also the president. Such arrangement appears clumsy and won't give room for a proper over sight of the petroleum ministry. Is he in the know of the happenings in the petroleum industry? Does he know the convoluted technicalities in the oil and gas industry. He should relieve himself of that position and appoint Ibe Kachikwu as the senior minister of petroleum and not the other way. The level of corruption in NNPC stinks to the high heavens and this can only be checked by effective monitoring of their activities as well as the enactment of laws which will give room for transparency and probity. Buy the truth and sell it not. Very true +1 |

The way the Biafrans repaid him is what is alarming. Bros, im not harsh, you just have to look at the comments of these ungrateful ibows here now to come to the same conclusions. This is to serve as a lesson to those that always want to think igboes can be trusted. How can any yoruba man in his right senses colluded with ibows to come and overrun yorubaland ? |

Have your stupid buhari government being jailed or prosecuted for making divisive speech and killing unarmed protesters? What about the Fulani herdsmen? You are a true zombie I must say.
Sane societies will sue KANU in order for him to prove why he made certain statements. No holding him unlawfully in jail. But then he was jailed for it wasn't he? As if that wasn't enough the army was sent against unarmed protesters. Your zombiesm amazes me[/s]. Organize your own agitation, do all the things Kanu did and see if you will get a different result. |

Just one single strike of the python and the whole ipob agitation crumbled.
Nigeria political leaders are 1st class graduates of the Machiavelli school of thought
Buhari used this Law #42 to total perfection
Law 42: Strike the Shepherd and the Sheep will Scatter Trouble can often be traced to a single strong individual – the stirrer, the arrogant underling, the poisoned of goodwill. If you allow such people room to operate, others will succumb to their influence. Do not wait for the troubles they cause to multiply, do not try to negotiate with them – they are irredeemable. Neutralize their influence by isolating or banishing them. Strike at the source of the trouble and the sheep will scatter.
It was a master stroke By banishing and not arresting or killing him, the government achieved so many points. |

Bede2u: lol this is true. Pple said his own no make sense but them no want start their own wey go make sense.
But on another note My dear Igbos... dont fall for this restructure scam! We can accept increased revenue sharing to the regions but not resourse control. ND want to own naija oil alone... why should we help them achieve that when twice they betrayed the Biafra struggle? SW want to own Lagos VAT alone? Why should we help them do that when they have always undermined us at every turn? SE and MB are the disadvantaged parties here therefore resourse control doesnt benefit all four regions... only 2. We must find a common ground... that is increase in oil money share to new regional govts and devolution of power to them. ND can keep maybe 17% derivation Essentially you are saying the Igbo speaking region doesn’t bring anything to the sharing table? They are parasites The ND guys ( SS ) knows that all the attaché by force is not out of love for them but what you Ibos stand to benefit. Jerry Gana has been in PDP top echelon for ages, he has never mention restructuring, just like virtually all the others bar Ayo Adebanjo. I have no issue with restructuring of the Nigeria but it always like it’s when people are out of power without patronage that they remember the word - restructuring |
