Politics / Re: Can We Allow The Travesty In Kogi State To Stand In A Democracy? By Joe Igbokwe by Psalm18: 2:56pm On Jan 26, 2016
The vandalism of norms and morality started when APC leadership turned a blind eye to Audu sleeze running into billions of dollars. His case was still going through the court processes and Joe Igbokwe should have issued a strident missive like this one warning APC of the moral burden fielding Audu.

He kept quiet then

Seeing it was a dog eat dog affairs, at the untimely death of Audu, the APC faction in Abuja to checkmate Tinubu foisted Yahaya Bello.

I have more sympathy for the people of Kogi and the years of poor leadership and not Joe who by the way conveniently sidestepped the issue surrounding Faleke and his position as both a legislator and deputy governor.
What say you, Mr. Igbokwe , should Faleke not have relinquished his seat in the national assembly based on morals and decency?

Politics / Re: Inferiority Complex Behind Jabs At Senator Bruce by Psalm18: 1:17pm On Jan 26, 2016
Indeed you have a point.
He is advancing the frontier of debate and good governance by engaging people with his ideas.

Some of his detractors especially those who allude to his skin color or manner of speaking are clearly suffering from some sort of complex.
Debate him, advance your own position, use facts and reason but just to seek to dismiss him by talking about irrelevant things will not work.

Those same persons abusing him have never questioned the over 200 ,other lawmakers with neither a social account and who havr never raised a bill.
Some people prefer your silence because they cannot advance their thinking to high levels.

Ideas are what drives nations and anyone trying to call to question: the accepted norm, pushing back the envelope and thinking outside the box is a patriot and not mindless sycophancies or nationalism in the name of supporting the government.
Finally I don't care whether you are APC or PDP, I respect articulate people like BMB and across the party divide, Fashola.

Mods.should close this nonsense down

Without evidence, the OP is obviously hoping to whip up sentiment.
If you support pres.Buhari that all good and well.

You don't have to create fake stories to show your support.
His good works will convince the others on the opposition side.
Yesterday, another clown created an article based entirely on a fake Obasanjo twitter handle. When everyone knows obj does not have twitter

How many times will it be said.
Obj does not have twitter account.
But of course you idiot.s peddling this know that already. You just want to forward your narrow agenda.

Ben Murray Bruce is making sense most times. If you have a problem against him. Counter it with fact. Don't use a fake Obj twitter too fight your enemies

I expect the mods to close down this thread.

There is a video on YouTube of Lamorde as then EFCC staff parading internet fraudsters and humiliating them when in actual fact,he is not different.

hello sir,
I teach in a school.
I get to school latest at 7:30a.m and not 10am
I close by 4pm after lessons and not 2pm.

I deal with humans-kids (the future of Nigeria) and not files.

would you rather I teach your child in this situation? No motivation?
I bet you'll say NO

Well done sir.
Much respect.
What really is the problem of civil service in that state?
I hear the government complain of ghost workers and how it hampers the effort to effectively pay the real staff.
I don't buy the argument not in this era of technology.
I'm also informed of the high level of nepotism geared towards a certain section.

I have no concrete advice to give. I wish you well. And hope things get better.

Politics / Re: Why We Handcuffed Metuh − NPS by Psalm18: 2:04pm On Jan 20, 2016
A good explanation.

As has been said already.
Dss and EFCC does not handcuff its suspects.

The nigeria prison system does.
And based on this. It did using discretionary powers.

No more noise please.

This same metuh assaulted a man few years back. He was supposed to be in jail for that alone.
This is not even karma, this is just a man who grew too big for his shoes paying for his financial crimes.

This (story) was the first thing I thought of when I saw him paraded in cuffs.

I was going to comment on that thread on his civil liberty and thus...but my memory of him assaulting another adult because he was connected then made me ignore his case.
All before I was educated to the fact, the prison system uses cuffs for its inmates.

Metuh, I hope you come out a more humbled man.

Good on them.
My only reason of commenting is this;

We are in a new year, so lets review the year before. A Pastor called Opeyemi Enoch of ado ekiti uni claimed to have solved the Riemann hypothesis.

The clay institute has a two year window where it validates claims. As of today, four months after his controversial claims, the mathematical world has not validated those claims.
If after 2 years and its fallacious claims I hope Enoch is man enough to accept his failures. And others recognize how science and research works and ask credible questions next time.

Politics / Re: Nigerians: We Don't Live In Paradise And We Know It by Psalm18: 12:50pm On Jan 20, 2016
The previous poster that wrote the nonsense he called reasons why we live in paradise is just that ....a misguided idi.ot.

He listed the cost of essentials services such power, water, housing as the reason why Nigerians are enjoying.
Someone should tell him we already pay one of the highest bills that is NOT commensurate with the services been provided.

In Europe and America, you can sue service providers who don't match what they promise.
You can't litigate successfully in Nigeria yet.

In Europe and America/the regulators enforce and ensure quality.
Here in Nigeria, from pencom to NCC, to Nigeria police commission, NUC to NHIS. All the watchdog are in hands with the operators to rip off citizens.

When you make an analysis, put everything into perspective. Not just one area and then say Nigerians are living in paradise.
The citizens are trying given the daily challenges of life.

Denial to the truth. Trying to justify it. Probably even blames himself. Then anger as acceptance settles in.

Ex governor Idris of Kogi state. The way and manner public officials use looted money is alarming.
Abacha and co imported marabout from Niger on tax payers money.

Ohakim is accused of buying properties worth 300M in Abuja.

Odili built a private hospital in South Africa.
And the list goes on and on

So if someone had taken her to the hospital, the police will arrest the person?

Among the crowd watching her die, were Christians, Muslims, traditional believers and atheist. None of them had a soul.
On Sundays they Will whine and dance
On Fridays, they will drop their neck.
And the atheist will argue about the inexistence of God till nightfall
Same with traditionalists.
Yet all of them have forgotten the ties that bind- humanity.

All present are pathetic excuses passing as human beings.

Politics / Re: Sani Yerima For Trial By ICPC by Psalm18: 11:16am On Jan 20, 2016
Good news

His hands should be cut off simple.

This fellow was one of those responsible for the rise of boko haram.
In 1999 as Governor he was the first to promote sharia law in his state and he defended it based on principles of federalism. Obasanjo as president was either too much of a coward or for political purposes refused to take him on.
It was his state, the first amputee of sharia law was recorded.
I can't remember the fellow name but his left hand was chopped of for stealing less than #20K.
Still as Governor, the idi.ot sanctioned the stoning to death of a woman accused of adultery.
The Vatican, NGOs and the Italian government were all responsible for upturning the judgement. Left to Obasanjo, the woman should have been stoned.

Seeing the boldness of these atrocities committed under the name of religion, groups like Yusuf boko haram were able to gain traction.

He didn't develop Zamfara state but was stealing them blind while using religion as a cover.
His case file should be transferred to SHARIA court and if found guilty, both hands should be chopped off.

In as much as I like to bash pastors and imams because they are a large part of our ills in this country. They posses so much influence on people and lots of them have channeled it wrongly.

In this case:

The sample size is too small to make an intelligent inference.
Also what about times he visited governors without Court cases. Did you factor in that.
He also visited/was invited by argebsola of osun

Just to say congratulations to her and move on

You had to justify it by every means possible.
Don't Christians go for catechism and bible studies.
Don't they cram there as well.

She is a brilliant student and will make a sound doctor.

I doubt this news, i guess you op don't know how medical school is run. They don't use CGPA in med school so how come she became overall best? what are the modalities they used? further maths? In med school you can only have distinction in that specialty that is what distinguishes you from others. how many distinctions did she have? fake news.
No bad feelings but this news is fake
But they give awards.
Best in surgery
Best in pathology
Best in anatomy
Beat overall graduating students and so on and on

She won the most awards so also makes her the most brilliant. Simple.

The further maths was in her secondary school not university. Read the article allover again.

#Islamic university.

You must be drunk.
I'm not a doctor. Could not even imagine the hard work, medical students put in to saving your life. And you have the mouth to denigrate someone sterling achievements.

In your rush to make a comment. I am sure you didn't read the entire article. Typical of a failed student.

How is unilorin an Islamic school and even if it were, as long as it meets Nuc standard and its operational, it means its a good school.

Did you read the part it said, she was the only student of further maths in her secondary school. She has a history of achievements.
It because she has a veil on, she is not intelligent.

I'm not even a Muslim but I respect people achievement irrespective of their beliefs.
