Sweety, not only did yu save 'a' life, you saved 3 or 4 lives. Thank you for your great service to humanity. pls was it for a particular purpose or cause (aciddent victims, bomb blast, relative etc) or was it purely voluntary. secondly, did they give you anything after the process (water, glucose, light meal, t-shirt etc) |

Thanks guys. my night was a disturbed one, only to crown it all this morning with a call from him apologising and saying he messed up big time. He says he loves me but i dont know if thats love and am scared of the future. My decision to quit is still fresh on mi mind for now tho. Nlanders, i want to know, is my ordeal a good enough reason to break this off or should there be a greater cause? |
I am writing here with great burden in my heart & tears in my eyes. my fiancee is very a obsessed and possesive man. He even followed me around once. He quesions my movements a lot. I am presently in lag for a wedding (i stay in ph), my fiancee just called my fone to speak solely with my friend, the chic am staying with, to confirm that i'm there with her, he even went further to say that the voice aint hers and dat am scamming him. It made me sad cos av done virtually all for him, even made love without any protections, cos i loved him. He says he loves me but i dont know if thats true. Now i dont know what to do wen i get back to ph. I think am going to break it off!! Guys, is his behavior normal?, am so confused!! |
@OP, yu obviously know very little about ladies/women, yur ex was trying to send a message across and only picked at wat she knew will scathe yu and used that as her opening line, money!!, so that she can walk off in peace, knowin yu wont give it 2her, afterall, its her mum puttin her up to this (yu know how mums cud be). So, now yu shud see that as a cue to never come back to her house, cos she needs yu no more!, MY PEICE. |

Happy New week to you all. Thanks for all them replies. Your posts were realy inspiring and uplifting, Most times 'preety' gurls tend to think so highly of themselves and above their partners, but i guess maturity resolves all that. it helps you to see all the good in the other person which surpasses all the physical attributes. Besides i also think that, one out of the two of them (man/woman) who's better looking couldd make up for the two of them as a couple and for even their kids, no one is actualy that 'not good-looking' But again, what do you guys think about profession/job of the man of your 'former dreams' cos like i said, i always dreamt of an engineer like mi dad and got a banker, sometimes its makes me think oooooo, |
For many people, wat we've wished or prayed for seems far fetched when it comes to whom we love, serious rships, marriage. Why?I for one, while growing up (in uni) wished/prayed for a tall, dark, handsome engineer like my dad and of the same tribe as me, but now am actualy in a rship with a guy that is not as tall as i wanted, or even as built as i want (he is chubby and has tummy), dark &cute anyway but not an engineer (a banker), i hated bankers in da past, but i find myself liking him, In the past, I had secretly broken up wid him over his 'looks' (he may have guessed) as i happen to be a very preety and flashy chic and widely admired, I alwaiz tried to convince miself that i cud meet d person of my 'teenage fantasies', but its him i fall for everyday. Has it happened to any one else?? Please share?? Ladies? Guys? |
@OP Trust me, its not fun. My coz who's a nurse recently resigned to become a housewife so as take care of de kidz', and yeah, true to the meaning of 'housewife', he doesnt let her go anywhere, she simply sits and stares out the window until another 'housewife' duty calls, hmmm. Honestly, me being a 'house-sister' has also not been funny, i cant wAit to get a job fast!!! Anywaiz, thanks to NL ![]() |
The need to make such excuses keep coming back, and i think about him inspite of miself, guess i'll work at that. |
Omolola1:I alrdy talked to them both, but the comparing and contrasting is taking longer than it should (is 2 weeks long?), and the pressure is terrible on me. My ex pulled one crazy stunt on me when i when to visit a male friend (my new friend) , found out he was following me up till the guy's house then he turned back without even saying hello, leaving me and this guy doubly shocked!! it was crazy and scary, but i wasnt scared, i only felt guilty, even though he is the ex!! are his actions normal?? is this guilty feeling 'love'?? izeek:Yeah, i know, but leaving again is harder than you imagine, i honestly dont know how, We shared a whole damn lot together, i'm giving it serious thots tho, there may be possibilities, with more good suggestions from you guys!! thanks |
biola44:We argued (quarelled) a lot abt everything, the truth is, he was my first very serious rship that cud lead to marriage and i wasnt handling it very well (am 25). Secondly, i think he was controlling and manipulative, and that was wat kept us going instead of the natural trust that should exist. luxoire:it was six months already, & i thought i had recovered, at least i did until he started coming back. Funny, thing is that they both treat me well, but the problem (i think) is that i am used to (familiar with) my ex's and all his wahala, & i am scared of knowing someone new (and his wahala) and also, my ex lives closer, so he uses proximity to his advantage and comes to my house after work everyday, i see the new guy only on sundays. How can i get over this fear?? Is this love or just 'sentiments'?? |
I broke up with my boyfriend (of 1year) in november 2008 and in april 2009 i started seeing someone else. now my ex is back & wants me back in his life. the feelings for my ex are deeper than that for the new guy, but i dont wanna break the new guy's heart, & i feel he may be better for me. what should i do, pls advice!! Is 'feelings' the main thing?? ![]() |
Countless number of girls abort unwanted babies everyday or protect themselves to avoid pregnancies, this woman kept hers, she should be respected and loved for it Sagamite: |
Hi everyone, i thank God for a forum like this, i pray that God gives us all the answers to our problems thru everyone else. For the past 12 years i have been with this condition, which is characterised by me pulling my hair from some parts of my body(esp, head region), i tried to hide it at first, until i searched it out online and found that many people go thru the same trauma and seek help. I want to stop, but its an uncontrollable urge!!. I saw different solutions online, but as a Nigerian, living in Nigeria, i think, i'd prefer any solutions, Prescriptions, or therapy within the country (or outside). i need help asap, it gets me realy uncomfortable as i am a growing lady!!, PLs Help!! |
