school of First choice and the nation's pride INDEED!!!! .....and exam don dey cum oooooooo |
D'Tigers fought gallantly all through the tournament.....but their best wasn't good enough..... There is a drop of greatness in that team.... flashes of brilliance here and there... Joshua Akognon particularly caught my eye... let Voigt be retained....let the team chemistry be kept intact....while we begin to look inward, so as to unravel local talents.. Across board, on the sports terrain; "we must start by doing what is necessary, and then do what's possible and all of a sudden, we can do the impossible come Tokyo 2020... God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria... #HonSamAdeOla™ |
Meanwhile, Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson, 24, stunned fans to race to gold in the women’s 100m finals, clocking an impressive time of 10.71seconds to dash teammate Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce’s dream of becoming the first ever woman to win three consecutive 100m titles at the Olympics. |

At this point in time in our lives as Nigerians, I think we need to do beyond the ordinary. How about Nairaland becoming a political party, by virtue of the fact that it is wide-spread across the six geo-political zones and it is made up of vibrant youths, with different talents, ideas, experience and ground-breaking innovations...youths who still have "better years ahead" Don't get it twisted.....this is no revolution...but its a conscious, yet critical effort to turn back the hands of time, and set Nigeria on course for greater glory Nairaland is blessed with the numbers We can get connections with other like-mind politicians who share our views We must learn to stop trading blame games, abolish ethnic, tribal and religious sentimentalism.... but rather, we could form a consolidated and United front to take over the reins of this country, in the best of our days when our glucose level is still maximum Lalasticlala, Mr SEUN, tosyne2much, omenka, wastedsperm, fynestboi, even you Madam OP......... don't you think you've got what it takes to be at the helm of affairs.... with 1k every month from every member of this forum, we would have enough to register our party, set up the necessary commitees, observe the necessary protocols and come 2023, Nairaland can present a presidential candidate.....cos I presume that we all want to see Nigeria work.. just doing some critical thinking here....as a progressive NIGERIAN youth.. my View!!!!!!! #HonSamAdeOla™ |
on this note fellow Nigerians let us form a new party, under the auspices and tentacles of Nairaland... I do believe that we have amazing technocrats on this forum, who by way of speech and reasoning can proffer solutions to the numerous challenges facing us as a country.. we can start now and make a brand new ending....after all, we are all citizens and we are protected by the constitution "to vote and be voted for" Dear Nairalanders, we can take over Nigeria democratically by 2023 if we start now!!! Enough of the blame games Enough of ethnic bigotry and tribal aversions.... it would do us no good Enough of name checking and misguided slandering of one tribe compared to the other Enough of division across religious lines and unhealthy sentimentalism We have got what it takes.....Mr SEUN, lalasticlala, tosyne2much, fynestboi, LadyF, etc...let's rally round and take the bull by the horn... An Abdullahi can work hand-in-hand with an Osewa, with the full support of a Chukwuma, a Salisu, an Abubakar,a Timpreye, an Agbakoba, an Effiong..... and we would all be better for it...... if we could all on Nairaland donate #1000 every month, by 2019....we would have made geometric progress.. just doing some critical thinking here....as a progressive NIGERIAN youth.... #HonSamAdeOla™ my View!!!!!! |
Sirnose:the hands of the Akokites are tied on this one.... they have been coarsed into signing an undertaking.. Who go won protest under this condition ? i'm still actively involved in the struggle for the reinstatement of SUG in yabatech the deputy rector (acad) is proving too high a wall to climb... but I don't know why school managements across Nigeria see SUG as a pain in the ass |

plaetton:Mr OP, Pls What's the way forward ooooooo cos its of no use crying over split milk Can our political structures, systems, institutions, and jurisdictions be completely overhauled for new heads with 'unstained' port-folio's and prerequisite knowledge of how best to transform Nigeria from the Federal Republic of Looting and Stomach Infrastructure to the real Nigeria that is to be built on the principles of democracy and social justice (Constitution of the Federal Republic 1999 as amended, Chapter II, Section 14(1) to emerge and hold sway in our polity? I mean the likes of Prof. Pat Utomi, Oluwaseun Osewa of Nairaland, Ayodele Dada of Unilag and even you Mr OP... God help us... God bless us #HonSamAdeOla |
Professor Dibu, please honourably take a bow when the atmosphere still seems favourable.... You seem to have lost the wherwithal as to what it takes to credibly conduct the UTME, be it CBT or PPT Despite all of these struggles, My fellow Great Nigerian Students--- there shall be light at the end of the tunnel! In the mean time, God bless the Federal Republic Of Nigeria! #HONSamAdeOla representing Surulere Federal Constituency 1, Lagos. |
