My advice for them is to liase with OAU SU our last leaders experienced such after the last student protest, but after protracted negotiations with well meaning leaders in thw society which included the Ooni of Ife, Alumni and other relevant stakeholders it was reduced to a semester or so.

They shouldn't be shaken what they need now is to be confident and let their students back them up with tweets, etc.

The campus media should also coopt and official #Tag for their reinstatement, they need to keep writing and meeting, clamouring using every avenue both on newspapers, etc.

Like I said earlier they should liase with OAU SU leaders and campus media we are very good in tacking issues like these.

its obvious prof rahman bello dint forgive dem for exposin corruption in unilag it pains me a lot dat most unilag students know how to form but dont know their rite after signin idmenity form d skul is worse off i know one day a mad protest will spring up n wash dis evil lecturers in unilag i wish d students wer united d skul would have better off

These people are being punished for asking for basic amenities and staging a peaceful protest. Nothing more!... Well all I would say is karma is a bitch...

this was the type of incident that led to the closure of the school for over 6 months some years ago after properties were vandalized (vc's car,house and so many) but all student were made to pay a mandatory 10k.

God forgive us.cause does that committed the offence even didn't pay a dime then.

the deputy rector (acad) is proving too high a wall to climb...

but I don't know why school managements across Nigeria see SUG as a pain in the ass

The same Karo that was once an activist in the same Unilag. I hope these guys suspended would fight against this injustice. The protest was peaceful, the school authority used force on students.
