Nice initiative, nice idea, but I would like us to seek opinion of @Puntersmind about this and how best we can channel it constructively so that the aim of the the mission will not be defeated.

He(Puntersmind) made us understand that those outstanding that were not paid January will be settled next month March together with our February stipend.So my take is may b exercise patient till next payment and see what happen before take any move.

Big Boss please, we need your candid advice on this. Once again big thanks for all your help. God bless us all.

. It could be true I learnt UBA has to refund stipends back to surep base on their lackadaisical attitude to work and insensitivity to the plight of interns, so we should make the minister to know this.

Most of us haven't been paid for 3-4 months!!! How are we to remain motivated when we pay for transportation to and from our work place.?

They don't believe it's possible to make a mistake but when they do make a mistake, they cover it up." Me self dey wonder why chemistry professors everywhere behave alike. That was by the way sha. ALL OUTSTANDING PAYMNTS FOR INTERNS NOT PAID FOR ANY MONTH FROM JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2014 SHOULD BE SENT USING THE ATTACHED FORM
(OUTSTANDING STIPEND CLAIM FORM) only to finance@gisurep.gov.ng

To complete the online timesheet, you are requested to:
1)        Logon to the website  http://gis-tool.wyesurep.gov.ng/ with your
registered email and password (PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU USE THIS LINK AS THE FORMER LINK MAY NOT WORK)
2)        On your home page, scroll down the page and accept all the interns
hired in your firm and enter the start date for each intern. (If not done
for interns attached to your firm already)
3)        Then go to Timekeeping/Feedback at the top right corner of the page
4)        Select each intern and enter the GIS UBA NUBAN Account Number for the
intern (If you have entered the account number for the previous month of
June, disregard as it is already captured and stored against the Intern)
5)        Fill the timesheet calendar by select ONLY the days for which intern
has worked
6)        Save the filled timesheet
a.        Go back to Employer Timekeeping

7)        Repeat steps 5 to 6 for each intern hired in your firms/organization
        Go back to your home page and click "submit pending timesheets" to
submit all timesheets entered for the month for all the interns. And to
submit NOVEMBER 2014 completed outstanding likewise

YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL THE TIMESHEET FOR INTERNS BEFORE YOU SUBMIT TO THE PIU
This shall be procedure to be followed for time sheet returns.

PLEASE NOTE: TIMESHEET IS TO SENT ON OR BEFORE 1st- 6th FEBRUARY, 2015 FAILURE TO SEND THE TIMESHEET ON OR BEFORE DATE WILL LEAD TO DELAYED PAYMENT.
 
PLEASE DISREGARD IF HAVE NOT MATCHED/HIRED ANY INTERN WITH THE GRADUATE INTERNSHIP SCHEME

I don't know why my Employer refused 2 fill our timesheet he was just giving us a fliping excuss dat he will fill it,up till now our Jan Timesheet is not yet fill nd 2day I's d deadline I don't know why some employer treat intern as if we are slave all becos dey are not d 1 paying us.Huh dere is God ooo.
