Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: Can You Marry A Disabled Person? by Psittacus(m): 12:03am On Jan 20, 2015 |
Love is definitely not the issue here. There are many things to consider. But most times, P.C individuals don't hav choice. They end up marrying those who accept them for who they are. On the other end, d partners must be ready to make lots of sacrifice at d early stage of d union, but after a while, u must hav adjusted. The good thing is, they are d most faithful partners. they are alwys ready to make up for their short coming...d question is, are u ready to encourage dem? |

puntersmind: I understand the fact that dealing with Human beings is one huge task, and you can NEVER get everyone pleased. I came to this thread because I wanna help as many people as I could, not Necessarily to help with Fresh Matching, Re-match, Invitation to Internship Fair or Stipend issues, just to encourage and offer guide with my extensive knowledge of the scheme. Like I have always stated, I am not a SURE-P GIS personnel in any capacity, just someone who wants to offer a little help. I have an unenviable daily schedule but I still find out time to reply to over 30 SURE-P GIS-related emails that I receive daily, on the email address I use to contact interns, these emails are wholly from peeps on this thread. I have directly helped over 300 graduates get engaged in this scheme (Mainly outside this thread) either by initial Matching or by Re-match, so I believe I have earned a bragging right on this if I should desire one. I have NEVER asked for or solicited for any monetary/non monetary gift from any of these over 300 interns, but have come to value the lots of good-wishes messages that I have received. Only a handful of persons out of these number of interns have my Mobile number or my main email address, and NONE of these over 300 interns is directly related to me. I have on numerous occasions contacted companies, begged them to absorb interns, and got interns matched with them. In a short-while, I would cease to login in here to check this thread knowing that I have done my bit. I CANNOT possible help everyone here even if I wanted to. I do not consider prospective interns state of Origin, Tribe, Gender or any other factor before assisting them. I write this not necessarily in reply to the comments I have quoted here but more like to bare some facts. I have stated here earlier that I do not have new companies that I can match fresh interns with, so I have purposely ignored comments asking for fresh matches without providing company details for the matching. I am deeply grateful that I have helped a few persons here who have boldly stated so. Having attended many of the SURE-P GIS events, I know that this scheme, as little as the stipend is, offers a lot of persons Hope, experience and money to move on until such a time something better will come along. I met graduates who were earning N10,000, N15,000 monthly prior to this scheme. One of the first guys that I matched here, mailed me a week after the matching to explain to me why he stated on this thread "that his survival depended on this scheme". I urge some of you that feel that the money is too small for you, to know that you could get Good contacts, Permanent Employment, Knowledge, Experience etc from this scheme. I do not have anything against anyone who criticizes me here, I can only say that I have done the best I could do so far with my limited time and resources. I wish you all the Best. One Love. One Nigeria. Peace. you can't please the world sir, when i asked for your help, you didn't just help me but You counsel me like a brother. Am pleased to say today, despite d fact dat i hav not received any stipend, i hav bin to places i never imagined, spoke to people i only see on t.v. Despite d fact dat i hav stayed in my state capital all my life, i don't even know d way to d governor's lodge. But here i am today, I move around like it's my office. And so much more dat i can't begin to mention. Many here hav very wonderful things to say abt u. Don't listen to anyone, just kip doing wat u do. Frustration Is a b.i.t.c.h.. |

LadunaI: What some people don't know is that patient is the key. Most of us that he helped do re-match has to wait for over a month, and we all understand his tight schedule. He is willing to help all of us but that might not be possible considering the fact that our problems are not the 'same'.
One suggestion I will like to offer so as to save time, is that we (bro and sis here) can prioritize our issues in such way that, we DISCUSS may be for the:
1 week of the month = Timesheet and Bank account related issues
2 week of the month = Stipend related issues
3 week of the month = Re-match issues
4 week of the month = Other issues
If we try and limit our problem to this time table, I hope is will help in a long way in assisting him -@Puntermind to attend to most of problems in batches and by so doing many we get his attention, and their problem solved God willing. I think if we can all agree to this time table, problems will be sorted out more faster and better for all us, provided we are patient and don't discuss issue outside their time. God Bless you @Puntermind has you take time to help bro and sis here.
Please house offer suggestions how to make this better. Thanks |

SCENE ONE.. CHAPTER ONE I hav quite a memory (just realised dat) and i still remember events as far back as my 3rd year on this planet earth. When i was 3 far back as 1994, i noticed everyone could walk and move about on their own, but it wasn't dsame with me. Little did i know dat i hav bin visited by a reigning god of disease at dat time called P----. This was the first confidence derailing event dat could happen to anyone. After so many sections under hot towels and light, I walked, it felt like d time Peter walked on water with Jesus(best feeling ever ) i got rid of those heavy armoured shoes tied to my limbs.
Chapter 2 Now my first day in school, the first sch i attended one of those schools the yoruba call JELESINMI. Popularly called kindergarten. I was 4 years old at dis time, one of the oldest in the class, i remember the woman will leave me in charge sometimes when she need to go out. But the problem was i always eat other kids food when she is out.lol....after all am to take care of them, i just took care of their food as well. At d end of the so called term, my position is always like 19th of 20 or 21st of 23. I don't know how she determine those position, all i know is their is a report sheet at d end of each term. I live with my grand parent at dis time cos my folks were going through a horrible divorce.. After attending the jelesinmi for two terms. My grand father could nt afford to pay for another term. He asked to stay at home with a neighbour who was still in her teenage age. She taught me some horrible things like stealing and lieing. And she did some bad thing i cant say to me as male child. She made me into her personal toy.....to be continue |
