PoliticsRe: Regional Autonomy Or Self Determination: A Way Forward For The Yorùbá by PStacks(m): 9:50pm On Jan 29, 2018
ReubenE:
My brother, the presence of Victor Banjo has already diluted the ethnic outlook which did not entirely made it an Igbo affair.

Secondly, going by your analogy, Major. Nzeogwu was not Igbo by loyalty since he was born and bred in Kaduna, spoke Hausa fluently and even adopted Kaduna as his middle name.

Some people even argue that he is not Igbo since his root is in Delta State, a people that don't claim themselves to be Igbo in present day Nigeria.

Lemme not derail the thread....

Nonsense; this is from a video clip showing the baboon undiplomatically trying to bring the issue of his letter in the open public arena with the president and immediately being cautioned by Abdulsami Abubakar to shut up - with the words, "not here, ah ah, kilode now!" while Buhari kept a dignified silence, remaining completely unperturbed.
Unfortunately, that short exchange is being muted by our biased media because it would not suit their current agenda against the president.
I have a copy of the clip but don't know how I can directly upload it here because I have tried several times and failed - maybe somebody can offer a suggestion.
that is how you will know obasanjo is a trouble somebody.

yet youths all over social media wants to kill themselves on what all the old men are doing.

here is the same obasanjo enjoying his life dancing like there is no tomorrow.
I doubt any youth can even beat obasanjo in this his 40 seconds dance.

No surprises. People in government know exactly what to do to fish out the serial killer herdsmen, put an end to the bloodshed being carried out by them. They just don't want to do the needful for obvious reasons of bias and nepotism. Imagine the herdsmen being OPC or IPOB and then you will see government act and prevent such heinous crime much before it happens.

CrimeRe: Court Orders Samuel Olajide Afolayan To Pay N9m To Herdsman For Seizing 42 Cows by PStacks(m): 8:25pm On Jan 28, 2018
Yarnvibes:
Court orders Afolayan, ex-navy chief, to pay N9m to herdsman for seizing 42 cows

An Ilorin High Court has ordered a retired navy chief, Vice- Admiral Samuel Olajide Afolayan, to pay N9 million being the cost of damages and for detaining 42 cows belonging to a Fulani herdsman, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi, illegally and unconstitutionally.

The verdict, delivered on January 9, 2018, indicated that the retired admiral was also ordered to pay N500,000 for each day of default of the judgement debt.
Justice Adeyinka Sikiru Oyinloye gave the judgment in suit NO.KWS/83M/2017.

The herdsman, Abdullahi, had sought the declaration of the court that the seizure and/or detention of his 60 cows by the respondent was bizarre, unlawful, illegal and unconstitutional.

He also sought the respondent’s unconditionally release of the cows with immediate effect, and another order that the respondent should tender unreserved apology to be published in two national dailies within two weeks of the judgment..

N10m was demanded by the applicant.

According to him, security guards attached to Afolayan had accosted his son outside the farm of the respondent in Obo-Ile in Ekiti local government area of Kwara State and pointed gun at him while he was rearing his cows on May 17 2017 and seized the 60 cows.

According to him, despite frantic efforts to get the cows back, the respondent held on to them, insisting that N5m had to be paid to get them back.

Afolayan in his defence, told the court that the cows were led into his farm on the said day and destroyed his cassava and maize farm worth N2.5m while the applicant burnt his cassava processing plant which made him to insist that he must pay for the losses estimated at N15m, which was later reduced to N5m after pleas.

While delivering his judgment, Justice Oyinloye said though the applicant claimed 60 cows were involved, the respondent admitted seizing only 42.

while the fulani man was smart enough to go to court, the admiral took laws in his hands being a soldier..

Friends or foes? You tell for yourself.

It is now becoming evidently clear people must be very careful as this 2019 elections approaches.

it seems these ruling class and political elites are taking the poor electorate on a ride.

people should read inbetween the lines and the writings on the walls.

One would have thought former president Olusegun Obasanjo wouldnt be found anywhere close to President Buhari atleast not after he released a letter very critical of this APC led administration accusing Buhari of Nepotism and Condoning with corrupt officials of his cabinet.

Well, That was not to be the case as Obasanjo was seen holding hands with Buhari today at the opening session of the 30th African Union Summit, Addis Abba, Ethiopia.

They were captured shaking Hands in what was close to an embrace and were later joined by former Head of State Abdulsalam Abubakar.

We hope to get more revelations in the days ahead as politicking towards 2019 elections are very much in full throttle.

PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Migrate To Bunu In Kogi State - Bunu People's Forum by PStacks(m): 10:16am On Jan 26, 2018
laudate:
Were you sipping the wine of absurdity when you wrote this? shocked It is just a simple question. I am trying to hang on to my temper and not give in to the temptation to give you a piece of my mind.

You claim the Fulani herdsmen are not 'trespassing' in their migration to the middle-belt and the south. undecided So what do you call the act of entering and occupying someone else's land or property, without permission? Or the act of encroaching upon the territories of others, without their consent?

Why must they even migrate towards the middle belt? sad Aren't there some other states in the far North that can accomodate them? Gongola river, Hadejia-Ja'mare River etc, cut across Bauchi. There are vast plains there. Let your Fulani herdsmen take their cows there. I pray they misbehave the way they have been invading the lands of other people with impunity, so that the Kanuri, Sayawa, Zulawa can kick their butts, without compunction!

As for your pathetic way of blaming the past administration for everything, it is stale, nauseating and moronic. PDP was bad and they did not build a green wall in the North to push back the desertification at the edge of the Fulani's northern camps. We have heard. PDP was bad, but APC is worse! There is no choice among rotten apples - either PDP or APC. angry

APC had ample time and enough years to come up with a blueprint to improve every sector of this nation, before they even got into power, but till date what have they done to combat the effects of desertification?

If they had started something tangible to combat the problem 2 years ago when they got into power, wouldn't there have been some signs of recovery, by now? undecided If in 2 years they have nothing to show for it, what makes you think they will perform any magic with respect to turning the arid parts of the North into an oasis, within the next few years?

The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. What have all the current APC governors been doing with ecological funds in the last 2 years, when it comes to building 'green walls'? huh

Please save your batch of excuses & puerile defence for those clueless enough to believe them. The Middle Belt does not want to play host to the Fulani killer herdsmen. Na by force? Their people are saying "NO" to cattle colonies, and migration of the herdsmen into their territory. Why? They do not want to be visited with sorrow, tears and blood! Enough is enough!! shocked The Middle Belt is coping with challenges of shrinking arable lands, lower crop yields per square metre, overflooding, leaching, overcrowding etc. They do not need the Fulani herdsmen to add to their challenges! Let them keep away! Haba!! angry
long term problems arent solved with the snap of a finger.

from all you are saying.. cattle herders should remain in the desert and die with their flock.

PDP and APC are 2 bad apples so Nigeria should Explode grin grin

Now I get where all that is coming from.

You PDP People would never see anything good in this Administration.

on that note, lets meet at the polls again in 2019 to test our mights again.

it is only after the 2019 elections you would see for yourself that the worst of APC is by far better than the best of PDP.

Installation of meter (@every home) should have been the first approach to resolving nigeria power embarassment ,putting strict laws and enforcement toward stopping bypass. Put measures to reduce importation of those high energy consumption bulbs cos many countries are already fading out those bulbs. Anything can be imported into the country including the dumped refrigerators and air conditioners that are not energy conserving from different countries around europe and america such should be controlled. The government should take the lead then people would follow.
